Amelia's POV

He ignored me stroming out.

" Miss your order " The waitress said putting the pizza on the table.

" Keep the change" I put a few bucks on the table and run out. I hurridely jogged and I saw them entering a dark alley. I followed them running as much as I could.Why would they do that?
Do they know eachother?

I saw a very furious Damien throwing punches that resulted a big bruise on Styles jaw as he spat blood.

" You dare go out with my girl !" Damien yelled.

Who is he calling ' his girl' That is the last thing I am !

" She is not your girl you cheated on her" Styles said trying to punch him but failing miserbly since Damien was quick to dodge it.

He continued his beating until Styles fell on the floor clutching his stomach with a groan while I yelled at him to stop. I run over to Styles supporting his falling figure. His eyes closed firmly as he wailed.I rested his limp body and turned around , livid at the man before me. He is out of hand Who does he think he is?

" How dare you beat him up !?
You think you can interfere in my life after you made sure you don't any part of it !" I yelled slapping him. His eyes bluging as he touched his cheek.

" of course I want to be part of it. It is all I ever wanted !" He said his voice low like a whisper.

" You lost that chance the moment you betrayed my trust" I fumed. His eyes were filled with pain and guilt but he brought this upon himself so I won't feel bad for him.

" He is using you !" He stated.

" Not everyone is like you! " I glared at him as Styles coughed. I touched his bruise his lips are busted.

" Are you dating him? " he asked

" Who do you think you are!? I don't have to answer to you !" I shouted giving him my back.

" Just answer this last one and you will never see me again" He declared.

My pulse quickened. My breath hitched when I taught that I will never see him again. Not seeing him ruffle his unruly hair. Not seeing his icy eyes gaze down at me is the hardest thing I will have to do but it is better that way. In time his love in my heart will fade like it never existed.

" Yes I am dating him so there is nothing left for you here " I said.

" Of all the men why did it have to be him?" He asked.

" Huh? What do you mean by..." I turned around but he was gone.

" Hey...hey styles " I said his trying to alert him.

He opened his hazel eyes smiling a little.

" You can smile at a time like this?" I asked amused at his gleeful face.

" I heard you say you are dating me" He curved his thin lip in to a genuine smile.

" You heard that?" I asked. He gave me a slight nod still smiling.

" Don't worry I know We aren't dating. I just liked it when you said that" He said breathly.

I nodded with sad smile.His eyes fluttering close. It must be hurting. I feel bad I caused this. His chest heaved as he groaned.

" Can you walk?" I asked.

He nodded getting up as she leaned his large arm. We headed to his car forgetting our whole dinner. . I adjusted him on the back seat and entered the car myself. What about my car? Oh well I will take it tommorow. After all he did get hurt because of me but their fight felt more personal but I didn't want to push it.

I kept my hands on the wheel driving to my cabin glancing at him once in a while. I should take him to my cabin. I don't think Carla will like it if I show up with a creepy guy who I do even know all that well.

" Where are we going?" He asked

" To my cabin. You can barely walk. You will spend the night there" I said.

" No I am fine. I can drive back" He coughed.

" No you can't " I said

He seemed defeated since he didn't protest after that.

I parked the car and hopped of the car supporting his heavy body to my cabin. I put him on the couch and went to take the first aid kit. I returned with the equipment.

" I'm sorry. You got hurt because of me but why did you went to him. Do you know him?" I asked.

As I cleaned the blood on his right cheek applying pressure to the wound. I am thankful Carla taught me. I knew it would come in handy someday.

" No I don't know him but I know he is your ex. I didn't want him to bother you" He answered.

" Are you sure? You did a lot for a stranger you just met?" I said suspiciously.

" I didn't 'just' met you. Today is our second time" He smirked as I rolled my eyes at how he twisted my words.

" very funny. You know what I meant" I huffed pushing pack his black hair to clean the inquiry on his forehead.

" I don't know I got mad that he cheated on you" I froze at that. I knew he had an affair but hearing someone say it was like bullet straight to the heart.

" Don't get mad. He can't hurt me more than he already did" I sighed closing the kit.

" He can but I won't let him" He greeted his teeth.

" What do you mean?" I frowned.

He is like unsolvable puzzle. His mood shifts from playfully to sad in a matter of minutes.

" Nothing I am tired. thank you for letting me stay here. I will sleep on the couch" He said.

I didn't want to push his buttons so I brought a blanket from my bed room and covered him with it.

" I will go now there is food in the fridge if you need to eat" I said slipping in to my gray coat and grabbing the keys.

" No stay" He said.

I rasied my eyebrow at him and he cleared his throat.

" I mean. It is late something might happen " His tone so pleading as he spoke. He looked so vulnerable.

I sighed nodding as I sat infront of him by the fire place. His half face hidden by the relfection of fire's light.

I let the smile that was beginning to fade linger on my lips. I was grateful that he had the intent of protecting me eventhough all we are strangers. I felt my heavy eyes close falling in to a slumber.

Next morning

The sound of my phone woke me up. I cussed picking up the phone ,my eyes still closed.

" Where were you last night?" Carla's voice screeched from the other side of the call.

My eyes opened fleetingly and a gasp escapes my lips as I looked around the cabin. I am pretty sure I slept on the couch so how in the hell did I got in my bed. Styles ! Styles must've moved me to the bed.

" Sorry. I forgot to tell you, yesterday I slept at the cabin sorry " I tired to explain. I rubbed my forehead with my other hand leaning to the head board.

" That is not the way to behave Amelia Marie Huoston! I rasied you better than this!" She yelled.

I messed up big time she only calls me that when she is mad very mad.

" Sorry it won't happen again" I apologized.

" okay hun just come home. It is sunday and I made your favorite soup " She sighed getting calmer.

" ok I will be there" I nodded hanging up. I got up from my bed.

" Styles!" I called out his name but no one answered instead I got a note on the kitchen table.

I left early and I didn't want to wake you.

Ps I took your phone number. I am sure you threw away the card.

I smiled at this. He is right. I did threw away the card.

I showered,brushed my teeth and dressed in to my usual hot pant with a plain black T-shirt. I slipped in to my furry boots. I let my hair just fall on my sides with only one pin keeping it away from my face.

I hurridely grapped my keys to the cabin's car and phone. I hastily opened the door only to be blocked my muscular figure. I gazed up and met with those icy pair of blue eyes. Why is that everywhere I turn there is him?

No matter how much I tried to get away. One way or another. We end up where we were face to face.

" What are you doing here?Can't you just stay away?" I growled my voice cold as ice.

" I don't want to stay away." He said clamly as if she wasn't throwing a fit yesterday.

" I am tired Damien of this us " I sighed.

" You said you don't believe me? What if I told you I have proof?" He asked.

" Oh yea like what?" I asked annoyed.

He turned around and shook his head at a woman to get out of his car. Why would he bring a woman here? Every step she took closer the more she looked familiar.

Oh my God ! It is the lady he had affair with how dare he bring her here !
