Riena's pov.

They're Everywhere, we cant stay any longer!" Floral yelled.

The sound of gun shots rang through my ears.

-Were trapped played over and over again in my head, echoing the words back and forth, as more decayed bodies plowed through the rusted metal doors.

I shot my head back at the girl on the floor who stayed laying against the shelves on the cold, hard tile floor. The blood flow from her shoulder, slowed down more as her body grew more pale by the second. Her shirt, completely soaked in her own blood.

"We've got to do something!" I yelled back, chocking on my own tears. Floral continuously shot at the walkers. Their bodies piling up on the floor by the entrance as more seemed to emerge from god know where.

"There's nothing we can do! We need to leave! Now!" She started to move back, as the walkers closed in.

JC ran out of the storage room. Her body covered in so much blood, I wasn't sure if it was hers or the walkers.

She ran over, helping out Floral." I found a van we can use and parked it in the back!"

I looked back and forth at the walkers and then the girl on the floor. They were getting closer and we were running low on amo.

I placed my forehead against the girls as she touched my cheek one last time. I cried as she hugged me with what strength she could muster.

"I-I'm sorry..." I whispered in her ear before standing up and pulling up my walther PPK and pulling it back. I knew it had to be done, and she did as well, but I couldn't watch.

"Thank.... you...." She closed her eyes smiling. I turned my head at the last second when I heard the guns fire, and the gun kicked back in my cold grip.

Floral grabbed hold of my arm, pulling me outside to the van and flinging the door shut. JC slammed on the gas.

As we sped down the road, I had to look back. I watched as the gas station got smaller and smaller. Farther and farther from my grasp.

The blood, still warm from her touch, dripped down onto my dirtied tank top. Never again would things be normal.
