"Go sandshrew"! yelled Andrew

I could tell the sandshew was at least level 10

"evee bulbasaur I choose you" I said

"hey" he said "it's 2v1 that's not fair"

"don't worry" I said "i'll only be using one"

he looked perplexed

"POKE-FUSE"! I yelled holding up the DNA splicer

"bulbvee" said bulbvee after they fused

"use vine whip" I said

it hit sandshrew and I could tell he was already weak

"earthquake" said andrew

"it's time to do what we practiced" I said

suddenly, bulbvee jumped up and used one vine to grab onto a pipe on the ceiling like a grappling hook

"vine whip" I said

sandshrew fainted

"return sandshrew" Andrew said "go drillbur

"vine whip" I said as bulbve released the pipe

it hit drillbur

"dig"  Andrew shouted

"be careful" I said

suddenly, drilbur sprang out of the ground behind bulbvee

"watch out"! I yelled

suddenly, bulbvee dodged and used quick attack. I didn't even know he knew that move

drillbur fainted

"return drillbur" said Andrew

after I defused my bulbvee and returned bulbasaur Andrew approached me

"you did good kid" he said

"thanks" I said "I had a mega sabeleye I didn't even use"

"anyways, here you go" he said handing me the badge

"thank you" I said leaving

as I walked out of that gym with my first badge I knew I had climbed the first of many steps on my way to becoming the chaos league champion
