"Chan, hurry up or you'll be late for school." My little sister came into my room and shook me awake.

I smile at her and pull her into a hug.

"Thank you flower. Go ahead and get ready so I can drive you to morning care." She nods and runs back to her room.

"CHAN! WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!" I sigh as I here my mom yell.

"I just woke up." I say normally and change my clothes quickly.

"You and that bitch should be gone. I wish I never had you." My mom mumbled and it took everything in me not to punch her.

"We'll be gone soon." I say back and glare at her.

"Come on flower, let's get going." I say sweetly as my little sister hopped to me.

I get everything I need for school and grab my keys.

I drop my sister off at mornin care and head to my school so I'm not late.

"Hey Chan! Why the sad face?" My friend Jisung said as we walked to our classroom.

"Mom." Jisung nodded understanding what I meant.

"Did you hear about the new kid? Apparently he's mute." I raise a brow at him.

"Mute? Why?" Jisung shrugged and sat down in his seat next to me.

"Something happened when he was younger I guess. Also some say he's not really mute but just doesn't like talking, It's not any of my business though." I nod.

"Have you seen him?" He shook his head and sighed.

"He's supposedly in our class though. That's the only reason I heard about him." I nod again and lay my head down.

"Insomnia is a bitch." I groan and try to sleep but the teacher came in with another student.

The teacher whispered something to him but he just stared at her.

"Right...you don't talk. Class this is lee Felix. He's your new classmate so be kind to him." I stared at the new kid as he sat at the front of the classroom.

"He's not too bad." I whisper to Jisung and he nods.

"Looks just like your type." Jisung whispered back to me and I flicked his forehead.

"He doesn't even talk."

"So what? He can't talk and you can't sleep. Help each other." I roll my eyes.

"That's not how that works and he can talk but he just chooses not to." I roll my eyes once again and Jisung scoffed.

"Watch and see. I'm always right."

"Then why did you fail science last year?"

"Science is hard ok?!"

"Han Jisung, detention." I hold in my laugh as Jisung pouts and shoved me out of my seat.

We continued class and finally the bell rang.

Jisung stood up and walked up to Felix immediately. I follow just to make sure he doesn't scare Felix.

"Hi, I'm jisung. This is crispy." I sigh.

"My name's Chan not crispy." I pinch Jisung's arm and he slapped my wrist.

"You sometimes go by Chris and that's very close to crispy." I glare at him and he turns back to Felix.

"Anyways, I came here to ask a favor for my dear friend here." I raise an eyebrow.

"You see, he has bad insomnia and hasn't slept a full 2 hours in years. My thinking is, if you let him cuddle you for just a little while then he'll be able to sleep." Felix looks confused and I look lost.

Felix grabbed his notebook and wrote down something.

He handed it to Jisung and he gasps.

"He doesn't speak korean well. He didn't understand us." I look at the notebook and look back at him.

From here on Chan is talking in English to felix.

"You don't know korean?" I ask in English and his eyes widened.

Felix nodded and smiled.

"Ok well I'm Chan or Chris. This is Jisung. What he said was irrelevant-"

"I was asking if you could cuddle with Chan so he can sleep for a little while. He has insomnia." Felix blinked before writing something down.

It read 'why would I cuddle with someone I don't know?'

"I agree with Felix and also I don't need sleep. 1 hour every other night is enough." Jisung rolls his eyes and Felix's eyes widen.

Felix gently pulls me to the back of the classroom and sits me down on the huge beanbag in the corner.

Usually it would be occupied but I wasn't this time.

I look at Felix confused until he laid down next to me and hugged me.

"You really don't have to cuddle me. I'm fine with not sleeping much." Felix shook his head and I let myself hug him back.

"Sleep." Felix said and I was surprised at how deep his voice was.

"Ok." I say even though I didn't think I was gonna sleep.

I close my eyes and let Felix play with my hair until I eventually drifted off.

When I woke up it was already time to leave school. I look around to see Jisung talking to his boyfriend, Minho, and everyone else gone.

I look down to see Felix curled up on my chest asleep. I picked him up and gathered all our stuff before saying bye to Jisung and Minho.

I took him to my car and laid back the passenger seat so he could sleep more comfortable.

I drove to my sisters school and picked her up before driving home.

"Who is he?" My sister asked.

"His name is Felix. He doesn't talk much so if he doesn't answer you then don't be sad flower." She nods and gets out of the car to go inside.

I carry Felix inside and looked around for my mom.

I saw a note on the counter and read it before sighing and laying Felix down in my room.

Felix groaned when I let go of him and tried to pull me back to him.

"I gotta make food Felix. You sleep some more and I'll come back later." Felix's eyes open and he pouted.

"Don't pout." I look away so I wouldn't kiss him.

"Please..." Felix tugged on my sleeve and his bottom lip quivered until I sighed and laid down next to him.

"I still need to make food for my sister." Felix sits up and heads to the kitchen.

I follow him and see him hugging my little sister with a smile.

"I love kids." He said simply and I smile seeing my little sister happy.

"You can stay to eat if you want. We would love to have you." Felix nods and carries my sister to the table.

"Who wants what?"

"I'll take anything." Felix says.

"Kimchi fried rice!" I smile and nod.

"Kimchi flied rice it is then."

"No! It's kimchi FRIED rice."

"That's what I said. Kimchi flied rice."

"Ughhhh"

Felix sits down smiling at the interaction between me and my sister.

After I cook I put some on a bowl for both felix and my sister. I took the rest of it, which wasn't much, and I sat at the table with the two.

"Is that all you're gonna eat?" My sister, who was sitting beside me, asked and I nodded.

"This was all there was left. I can make more food later when I'm done with my school work." I saw from the corner of my eye, Felix was pouting.

"You should eat more...I'm sorry I kept you from eating lunch." Felix looked as if he was gonna cry but I smiled at him.

"There's no need to apologize. You helped me sleep for over an hour-" I was cut off by a gasp.

"You helped my big brother sleep??" My sister made an '😱' face.

"Yeah he did." My sister got out of her seat and pushed Felix out of his so he would stand up.

"Wha-" she pushed him into my lap and I wrapped my arms around him so he wouldn't fall.

Both our faces flushed in to a light pink.

"You'll keep helping him sleep right? Mom doesn't exactly help with his insomnia..." Felix looked back at me confused.

I handed him the note from earlier and he looked at it very confused.

"I forgot you don't know korean well. It says 'I'll be somewhere without you bitches for a week so don't eat all my food.'" Felix looks at me and my sister to see neither of us effected by it.

"She's always that mean?" I nod.

"And worst. Just another year and I can take the both of us away from her." I rest my chin on his shoulder.

"You know, for someone that doesn't talk much, you've talked quite a bit to me." Felix blushed and looked away from me.

"I'm comfortable..." I smile brightly and ruffle his hair.

I saw my sister yawn and I gently picked up Felix and stood up. I made Felix stand up and I pick up my sister so I can bring her to bed.

"Goodnight flower~"

"Goodnight big brother..." she sleepily closed her eyes and I went back to the living room where Felix was seated.

I sit next to him and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yeah...I'm ok." I yawn soon after and Felix lifts my head before dragging me off the couch and to my room.

"Time for night night." Felix laid down and I laid next to him.

I chuckle when he climbs on top of me and he looks like a baby with how he's curled up on me.

"Is it alright if I call you baby when it's just the two of us?"

"You can call me baby when we're around people too. I don't mind." I smile calmly.

"Well then, goodnight baby~"
