That boy. . .

Was Minoru Mineta. . .

Monoma stared at the boy for a little bit before helping him up. Mineta immediately recognized him but didn't say anything. He's heard many rumors about him, so they're basically on the same page.

Both heard shouting from down the hall. "Get behind me," Monoma quietly said to Mineta. Mineta quickly nodded his head and got behind him.

"Well, well, well! Look what the cat dragged in! The copycat and the perv!" The others behind him cackled. Monoma didn't even flinch. "Look, why don't you go cry to your parents like a little baby, huh? Oh wait! My bad, you don't have parents!" The others behind him cackled again. (In my au, Monoma's parents died due to a villain attack, and lives with Kendo.)

Monoma tightened his fist. He was angered, but didn't show it, and had a menacing look on his face, glaring daggers at the group with out realizing. "Well, at least I have actual friends instead of the ones who just follows you instead!" Monoma retorted.

Everyone stopped laughing. "You think YOU'RE so tough?"

"Well at least I don't brag about it!" Monoma practically shouted.

"Oh we'll see about that!"

They were beating Monoma to a bloody pulp. Mineta tried to help, and it did work for a little bit. He threw his sticky hair to some of the others, and sticking them together, and their feet as well. But one with a sticky remover quirk got through and beat him as well.

Luckily, Mineta was still able to stand, and decided to help Monoma, as he helped him. Because of his small size, he can only carry so much. He carried him the best he could to recovery girl's office, practically running there and bursted in the office.

"PLEASE HELP HIM!" Mineta yelled. "Oh dear! What happened?" Recovery asked, while getting Monoma to a bed. Mineta quickly explained about what happened to them, while recovery girl heals monoma and puts some bandages on hi.

"Do you know who they were?"

"I'm not sure, but I think they were from general studies. . ."

"Alright, thank you. They will be reported and be expelled immediately. Have they bullied anyone else?

"Not that I know of."

"Sit on the bed, I need to heal you too."

"Oh, yeah."

Recovery girl activated her quirk and kissed his forehead, which healed up his (Mineta's) wounds. She got an eye patch and some more bandages.

"You should be more careful, young man!"

"I'll try."

"Alright, I got a phone call to make so don't say anything." Mineta nodded.

Recovery Girl made a phone call to Nezu about what happened, Vlad about the Monoma's case, and Aizawa about Mineta. A few minutes later, Nezu, Vlad, and Aizawa came in, but was unaware that 1B heard Vlad's phone call about Monoma, but only Kendo, Tetsutetsu, and Shinsou went, as they were the closest to Monoma. They were right outside the door, not risking to be caught.

"Ah! Recovery girl, I head about what happened to them. Are they ok?" Nezu asked.

"Mineta's fine, however, Monoma was beaten to a bloody pulp when he brought him in. Luckily, he didn't loose too much blood thanks to this young man," Recovery girl replies, patting Mineta on the shoulder. Mineta only waved.

"WHAT?!" The three outside yelled, bursting the door open.

"Is Monoma OK?!" Kendo practically yelled, with Shinsou and Tetsutetsu trying to hold her back.

"When did you three get here?" Vlad almost yelled.

"Uhh- Pony heard your phone call and told the rest of 1B, but they agreed that only us three are going to see how Monoma's doing. I hope we're not getting detention for this-"

Aizawa turned around to face Shinsou.

"Hitoshi-"

"Yes dad?"

"Wait- AIZAAWA SENSEI IS YOU DAD?!"

Aizawa sighed, "We'll talk about this later. but anyways, you can't be doing this Hitoshi-"

"Am I going to get grounded?"

"I- Ok, I appreciate that you're looking out for your friend, but please don't burst in like that. You're going to give me a heart attack-"

"So I won't get grounded?"

Aizawa sighed again before replying, "No, you're not going to get grounded."

"Yes!"

Aizawa turned back to face Mineta.

"Mineta."

"Yes Aizawa-sensei?"

"I appreciate what you did to help another student."

"Thank you sir."

"But if this happens again, you HAVE to tell a teacher. Bullying is not tolerated at UA."

"I've already found the students, and expelled them," Nezu says.

Monoma finally woke up from all the noise. "Can I please got to sleep?" He asks, sitting up.

"Monoma!" The three from 1B say in unison. Kendo goes up to hug him.

"Hi-"

"Don't do that ever again or I will kill you!" Kendo inturrupts and hugs Monoma as tight as she can.

"Sorry-"

"Kendo, you're going to squeeze the air out of Monoma- Let him breathe first-" Tetsutetsu says.

"Thanks Tetsu," Monoma says.

"No problem, dude!"

"So how long does Monoma have to stay here until he gets discharged?" Vlad asks.

"Based on his injuries, I'd say that he has to stay here for another day getting healed up a bit more, however Mineta's free to go, but just make sure that he doesn't get himself injured even more."

"Alright," Vlad and Aizawa both say in unison.

"And you three," Vlad turns to face the three from 1B. "I won't give you detention, BUT please do not do this again. I understand that you guys are worried for him, but he needs time to heal. It's getting late, and you should head back to your dorms."

"Yes sir!" The three replies and goes back to the dorms.

"I'll excuse him from class tomorrow so he can heal up." (Vlad)

"That's alright with me!" Nezu replies. "I still need to finish up some paper work, so I'll head off."

"Come on Mineta, we need to go back to the dorms as well."

"Ok sensei," Mineta says, getting up from the bed.

"You should lay back down and get some sleep," Recovery girls says to Monoma.

Monoma goes back to laying down, staring at the ceiling, and quickly drifted to sleep.

As Aizawa and Mineta heads back to the dorms, Mineta couldn't help but think. . . Why DID Monoma help me? Is it because he's been bullied too? Just like me? Or did he want to change as well? . . .Whatever. . .I should give him a gift for helping me. I probably need to ask 1B for what he likes. But what if they still think that I'm bad? Ok, I need to stop with the 'what if's'. The worst that can happen is they insult me, and kick me out of their dorm. I'll just take that thought as the worst that can happen.

"We're here," Aizawa says out of the blue.

"Thank you Aizawa-sensei."

"It's fine," Aizawa says, walking back to the teacher's lounge.

Mineta goes back up to his dorm and shuts the door. (My Au Mineta's room isn't going to be like cannon. Sorry- QwQ)

He thought back to all the times Monoma insulted their class and what Kendo would give him. Nothing came to his mind. He sighed, and might as well just give him flowers and a get-well card, but that would seem too plain.

He was going to go to bed them remembered that he hasn't finished his school work yet, so he goes to finish them. It only took around 40 minutes to complete it, so there's that. Mineta finally heads to bed, almost forgetting about the gift for Monoma. . .

~The next day~

Monoma woke up to a strong smell of flowers, mostly daisies, some peonies, and some roses as well (mostly yellow) in a vase with water on the nightstand next to him.

He slowly got up to sit on his bed and found a get-well card, signed by the whole class, each with a message by a different person. He smiled, for what seemed like in forever, and for a second, his eyes flickered with a little bit of light. He put the card beside him just as recovery girl came in with a plate of food.

"Here," Recovery girl gives Monoma the plate, and just as he starts eating, a knock at the door was heard. "Come in."

Kendo opens the door, holding more flowers, and gets ready to give it to Monoma, but sees that he's eating.

"Hi Neito!"

"Hey Kendo. And why are you giving me more flowers? I think I already have enough-"

"No, you can never have too much flowers. Do you know when you're getting discharged?"

"Right after he finishes eating."

"Oh, sweet!"

"Do you want me to carry the vases to your room?"

"That would be great."

"I have to be fast, or else I'll be late for class!"

"Bye Kendo!"

"See you later Neito!

Kendo gets up and starts carrying the vases back to the dorms. Monoma quickly finishes his breakfast.

"Alright, before you go, I need to send Vlad an e-mail."

"Ok."

A minute later, recovery girl finishes the e-mail, and Monoma starts to head back to the dorms. He was taking his time in the halls, as everyone was in class. He heads back to the dorm, and found one of the vase taking up an empty room in the shelf, and the other by his window.

He found a notebook and started doodling in it, seeing that he has nothing to do. Hours flew by, and before he knew it, it was time for lunch. He heard the bell and checked the time. 'Wow- I've been drawing for 3 hours? Didn't think it was that long.'

Monoma made his way to the cafeteria, but not before bumping into someone (again).

"I'm so sorry!" They apologized.

"It's fine. . ."

Monoma once again, recognized that he bumped into Mineta, again. And Mineta seemed to recognize as well.

"Oh! Umm. . .Sorry?" He mumbled, looking down.

"I appreciated that you helped me."

Mineta did not expect to be thanked. He looked back up, meeting the eyes of Monoma.

"W-well, you helped me first. . . So. . .I just wanted to return the favor. . ."

"I noticed that you were getting bullied. . . Rumors too?"

"Yeah. . ." That was when Mineta realized, Monoma wanted to change to be a better person, and he did too. . .But no one believed that they changed, and wanted to get revenge for the wrongs they did.

"Friends?" Monoma says, breaking the silence.

"With. . .me?"

"It's clear that you have changed, and we're both kind of on the same level. . . So. . .It's only fair."

Mineta smiled at his new friend, "Let's make a proper introduction this time. I'm Minoru Mineta," he held his hand out.

Monoma smiled too, "Neito Monoma, nice to meet you. Wanna go to lunch together?"

"Sure."

Soon, the two started talking like old friends, just about random things in general while walking to the cafeteria.

"I was going to give you a gift for saving me earlier, but didn't know what to get you."

"Oh?"

"It's only fair, right?"

The two both giggled.

"I can introduce my friends to you, if you like."

"Well. . . I don't really know. . ."

"You've changed haven't you? I think we'd make a pretty good team."

Mineta smiled, "Sure."

As both stepped into the cafeteria, Monoma was surprised hugged by Kendo.

"Woah- You could've given me a warning at least!"

"Nah, I like surprise hugs!"

Soon, all of 1B gathered up and started asking Monoma some questions.

"Guys- I'm fine! I don't think that I need to be taken to the hospital for this-"

"Well, you technically almost died- soooo-"

"TETSU!"

Kendo then slapped Tetsutetsu across his face.

"OWW- KEN YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SLAP ME!" Tetsu says, rubbing his cheeks.

"No, it was very nessesary-"

Monoma started laughing while Mineta stood to the side, akwardly.

Once Monoma stopped dying of laughter, "Oh yeah! I need to introduce you guys to someone!"

"Meet. . . Minoru Mineta!"

"Hello. . ."

"OHMYGOSH HE'S SO CUTE!" Kendo says, hugging Mineta.

"Didn't expect that from Kendo-" (Tetsu)

"You don't hate me. . .?"

"Why would I hate you?"

Mineta stayed silent.

"You don't have to answer if you don't have to. Do you wanna eat lunch with us? It'll be nice to have another friend that's not in 1B."

Mineta was confused.

Kendo explained, "Basically, we're all friends with each other and technically hangout all the time."

It reminded Mineta of his class, but unlike 1B, he was never included in any of the activites.

Kendo noticed, "You ok?"

"Yeah, it kind of reminded me of my class, but I wasn't really included in any of the activities. . ."

Kendo smiled, "Then you can be a part of our class! Not officially. . .But more of a hangout group!"

Mineta smiled at the thought of that, as his eyes gleamed with joy, "Sure. That sounds like fun."

"HEY! Are you guys suddenly ignoring me now!?" Monoma suddenly yelled, breaking the peaceful atmosphere.

Kendo rolled her eyes, "Of course not! Go grab your lunch, we'll be at the table waiting. Monoma can show you the table we usually eat at."

"Thanks."

"It's no problem! It's nice to have another person joining us!"

"Shall we go?" Monoma asked, as his class walked towards their table.

"Sure."

Monoma and Mineta quickly grabbed their lunches and Monoma was leading Mineta to 1B's table.

Monoma sat down next to Kendo, and Mineta sat down next to Monoma.

"Well, it's an absolute honor to have you in our group, Mineta!" Kendo stated.

Everyone clapped at the new member.

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you being so nice to me? Surely you heard of the rumors. . ."

"Of course we have. But the thing about rumors, is that they don't always have the right information. And I know a fake one when I hear it.

Mineta seemed to understand.

"Thank you for accepting me. . . I guess I'll tell you my view of the story. . ."

Everyone at the table listened carefully, as Mineta explained about what happened. . .
