Chapter 2

Kass's POV

"So Jakob, any guys catch your eye?"

"Yeah. That Farlen guy looked cute."

Six months on a supply run and on our way home, this is what idiots have time to ask each other.

"Almozt zere!" Yuhi yelled as something caught my ear.

"LEVI!" It sounded just like Isabell.

'She's in danger.' Was my first thought.

I turned Akuma and began charging for that area.

"Captain!" Everyone yelled as I jumped off of Akuma and ran, pumping my arms as smoke began to cloud my vision. My breath began to quicken as I ran, tears begining to fall.

I ran through the smoke, breathing heavily as I tripped, landing on my front into mud. Mud covered me as I turned to see what I tripped on.

I froze. Right there, was a head. The green eyes that I loved were wide open in muted horror as the mouth hang open, blood spilling out of it like where the neck was supposed to be. The hair on the head was kept in two small pigtails, dipped in mud and blood. The pale skin had gone paler as the eyes were glass.

It was Isabell.

"ISABELL!" I screamed, crawling for her head. Mud got everywhere on me but I didn't care.

I picked up her head and held it in shaking fingers, fresh tears falling like the rain around me. I turned my head to the sky and let out a scream. Scream and scream and scream and scream.

My sister was dead. I found her after ten years then left her. Only to find her body-less in mud and in Titan territory. Was I useless? Was I unable to care for her? Am I worthless? Did I deserve this? Did she deserve this? Where is her body? What would ?om think? Where is Farlen? Where is Levi? Are they dead? Did a Titan kill her?

Of course a Titan killed her. Because you left her.

I screamed and cried and wailed and pleaded.

"Please God! Please bring her back!" I screamed into the air, soldiers turning up around me and watched in horror.

Their captain, a strong, Titan killing machine, was breaking down crying in the mud and rain. Surronded in bodies and blood, wailing to God to bring back her sister. Their hope, their light, their captain.

Was breaking down and trying to bring back a dead girl.

"Please. Please. Please. Please." I chanted over and over clutching Isabell's head to my chest,  tears still falling.

Worthless.

Unworthy.

Pathetic.

Family killer.

Murderer.

Stupid.

What would Isabell do?

She'd stay. She'd protect you. She'd not let you die. SHE'D SURVIVE BUT SHE IS DEAD, UNLIKE YOU!

"Kass."

Worthless.

"Kass."

Unworthy.

"Kass."

Monster.

"Captain?"

Family killer.

"Captain pleaze. Get up."

Demon.

Monster.

"Kathy? Kathy wake up... its Hanji."

Demon.

Worthless.

Unworthy.

Family killer.

"She's gone Kath. Isabell is dead."

Silence filled the air around us as I stood up.

Demon.

"Lets go." I whispered as I carried Isabell, heading for Akuma.

Monster.

"Captain. Please... leave the head." Pleaded as young cadet.

Worthless.

I froze, clutching Isabell. I turned to the cadet and glared.

Unworthy.

"Say that again." I hissed, protectivly holding Isabell. She was mine. I wont let her be taken away. Not again.

Pathetic.

"Its going to rot." Sneered a corporal, staring at Isabell.

Demon.

"I'll kill you." I whispered, shaking. My pupils dialated, staring into the now closed eyes of Isabell. She looked like she was sleeping, an angel in hell.

Monster.

"What?" Spat the corporal, looking at me. A shaky grin made its way to my face as I looked through my damp and muddy hair.

Worthless.

"I'll kill you." I giggled, raising my sword to his head.

Unworthy.

"Kass." Came the soft sound of Hanji.

Pathetic.

I turned to Hanji and shook.

"I'LL KILL YOU ALL!" I roared. I raised a shaky hand, placing it to my mouth and opened it. Shock poured through me as well as rage. THEY WILL NOT TAKE ISABELL!

I bit down.

Fąmįłý Ķįłłěř

Lightning struck.
