"You look so cute when flustered" Being said, smiling in a teasing manner. "I regret meeting you," she muttered. Being pretended to be offended. "I'm amazing Claire and not to mention handsome!" She rolled her eyes but didn't deny it. "You agree!" he exclaimed. She finished her drink and pancake, then chatted with him some more.

He looked to be in his thirties, while Claire was only twenty six and her sister married at age twenty five. It reminded Claire about how single she was, while her sister was happily married. "Her husband Mark's a great guy though" she thought absentmindedly.

Claire snapped out of her thoughts and saw Being waving in her face. "So what's your decision?" he asked. She took a deep breath and said yes. Time slowed again and a blinding light engulfed the two. Runes and words snaked up their arms and a paper appeared. Claire signed and they disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

She felt a tingling sensation and she felt much stronger than before. Her powers were racing through her veins, waiting to be unleashed. "I'll try them out tomorrow or soon," she thought.

"You're amazing, I'm surprised you don't have a girlfriend" she stated. He shrugged. Claire had a notion that shrugging was going to be his thing. "I don't actually know," he said melancholy within his voice. Claire took his hand. "Don't be sad, you'll find someone for you!" she said smiling. Being smiled back gratefully.

"Thanks!" he said. "You're welcome" Claire replied back. "If you need help just call me telepathically" he said getting up. She shook her head in awe and replied, "I'll keep that in mind," She paused and smiled , realizing the pun she just said absentmindedly. "We're getting along well so far, don't you think?" she asked. Being nodded and bid goodbye then disappeared.

Claire did a happy little dance and she felt proud. She straightened up, making herself look tall.
