True Feelings

{Monday, September 1, 2014/4:10pm, Outside Of CHS, Soren's Navy, R-Tech M-6 Convertible}

I patiently wait for Roxanne Dash, my one REAL, female best friend from Cloudsdale, to come out of CHS. She exits the school, grinning and waving at me as she approaches my car. I guess I should tell you about her parents' words to me when Roxxi got out of the hospital. They told me they wanted me to drive Roxxi to and from school until she stopped fainting and could drive again. So far, she hasn't stopped fainting. A small flashback to me learning about her accident makes me sigh in frustration. As she approaches my car, however, I make myself calm down and smile.

"Hey, Soren!," Roxxi's raspy little voice says as she opens the front passenger door to my left (think European vehicles).

"Hey, you," I tell her as she sits in the passenger seat, plopping her black, leather biker jacket-like, Moschino backpack on the seat next to her, "How was your day?"

"Good," Roxxi replies, pushing her black hair out of her face with her right hand, "Art was the best! Chemistry was... (*Adorable giggle*) interesting."

"Professor D is...," I begin to say, laughing with her.

"Strange?," Roxxi asks, looking up at me with wide, purple-ish/blue eyes.

Those goddamn eyes! Why are you so damn hot, woman? Geeze. She giggles with my favorite giggle, waving her left hand in my face.

"Anyone home up there?," Roxxi asks me, snapping her fingers and laughing.

"Sorry," I say, smiling, "Professor D is strange. We should go now, don'tcha think?"

"Yeah," Roxxi says, turning to face the front.

"You, seat belt," I say to the beautiful girl next to me, but she's already wearing her seat belt.

"Duh!," Roxxi says, giggling again, "I always wear my seat belt! I'd be dead right now if I didn't!"

Did she have to remind me of that car crash? I wanted to die when I thought she was dead! I just buckle my seat belt, trying not to think about something so sad.

I start the engine and start driving towards our neighborhood, Heart of Cloudsdale. Interesting (and RANDOM) Factoid: Our neighborhood marks the very beginning of Cloudsdale.

After a while, Roxxi drifts off to sleep, snoring this tiny yet loud snore that makes me chuckle. God, she's so cute. And sexy. And crazy-ish. And awesome.

She turns toward me in her sleep, smiling. After taking one look at that beautiful face of hers, I can't get a certain song's lyrics out of my head!

All of a sudden, as we approach Rainbow Manor's white-painted, wrought iron gates, I find myself singing the lyrics aloud for some reason... O.O I hear a small noise and realize that it's just Roxxi turning in her sleep.

After typing the code that Roxxi's parents told me into the gate's security box, I drive into the manor's driveway, turning left slightly to avoid the white water fountain (fancy, right?).

White as snow with Greek-y columns everywhere, Rainbow Manor has a beauty that makes the Heart of Cloudsdale neighborhood worthy of its #1 spot on Equestrian Living Weekly Magazine's "Most Bankable, Beautiful Equestrian Neighborhoods" list (my mom and her "housewife" magazines O_O - she was so excited about the list that she told me about it).

I park in front of the manor and shut the engine off. I gently poke Roxxi's bare abs to wake her. She frowns for a moment, swatting my right index finger away like it's a fly. I poke her again, but she giggles this time.

"I know you're ticklish," I say, laughing with her as I tickle her more, "Now wake up. We've arrived at your too-fancy-for-my-taste manor."

"Stop Soren!," Roxxi says, laughing really hard, "I'm awake, okay?! S-s-stop!"

A figure standing near my car's front passenger side catches my eye. Ohhh, no. It's Thomas "Tom" Lane, Roxxi's annoying boyfriend. Thank God my windows are tinted from the outside (minus the windshield) - he'd see me touching Roxxi and go ballistic! I immediately stop tickling her. Tom knocks on the front passenger window, making Roxxi jump.

"Da hell?," Roxxi asks, unbuckling her seat belt, "When did he get here?"

"Mhm, mhm," I reply, shrugging, "Good question."

"Aye! Soren!," I hear Tom say, his voice angry and muffled (my car windows block outside noise a bit).

Roxxi looks at me and then looks at Tom. She smiles and tells me,

"Thanks for visiting me in the nurse's office today."

"Of course!," I say to Roxxi happily, "You're my best friend, Dashie. I'll always be there for you. (*Laughing*) Now go before Tom blows a gasket."

She laughs with me, but then she sighs sadly as she opens the passenger door. She pulls her backpack onto her right shoulder and exits the car. She gives me a small smile as she waves at me. As I wave back, smiling, Tom slams my damn door. What the hell? No one slams my damn door! He knocks on the window again (it was annoying and rude the 1st time! >:/). I roll my front passenger window down.

"What the fuck are you doing with my girl?," Tom asks angrily (I knew this was coming), his nostrils flaring (Whaaa-?).

"You don't own me!," Roxxi tells Tom angrily, forever the rebellious type (she's right though - he doesn't own her), "But if you must know, my 'rents asked him to drive me to and from school. They trust him."

||Roxxi's POV||

Jealousy and Tears

{5:23pm, In Front Of Rainbow Manor}

"What the fuck are you doing with my girl?," Tom asks Soren angrily (did his damn nostrils just flare? WTF?!).

Fucking jealous mofo. God, Tom, get a goddamn grip. I'm never gonna cheat on you. However, he needs to get some shit straight in our relationship...

"You don't own me!," I tell Tom angrily, "But if you must know, my 'rents asked him to drive me to and from school. They trust him."

Shit. Why'd I just tell him that? Now he's even angrier than before! I sigh, mentally facepalming myself.

"I was waiting for you!," Tom yells to me, "I was gonna take you home! And whaddoya mean, 'they trust him'? Heee's not me, dammit!"

"No, he's not you," I say, nearly in tears because I'm about to be blunt af, "(*Pointing to Soren*) He didn't get drunk and nearly kill me!"

I hear Soren gasp as I run to my home's front door, pulling my keys from my left, black skinny jeans' pocket (both pockets are lined with gold pyramid studs, btw). Tom yells out, "Babe, I'm sorry!" and I can hear the sincerity in his voice. But I want to go inside my house alone, so I tell him,

"(*Hiding my tears*) Just go home, Thomas."

I haven't turned back towards Tom and Soren, so I have no clue what Tom's reaction was. I just unlock one of the manor's twin doors, open it, step inside le manor, and slam the door with my left foot, my back still turned away from Tom.

[Time Passes A Bit (I be lazy)]

Memories and Thandie's SA Message

{5:30pm, Rainbow Manor's 3rd Floor, Roxxi's Bedroom}

After talking with our butler for a bit (he saw me crying), I get into le elevator, push le "3" button, run to my room, unlock and open one of the twin doors, and slam it shut. I run down the five stairs near the doors, run up more stairs to the 2nd story of my room, run to my bed, plop my Moschino backpack on my beige carpet, and plop on my bed's cyan comforter, crying my eyes out. My egotistical-ass conscience starts arguing with me (script mode - in my mind, of course):

Conscience: Get a grip and stop crying, wimp.

Me: Whatever, okay? I can't help it.

Conscience: Your friends are right: Why are you still dating Tom?

Truth is, I dunno why I'm still holding onto our relationship. I just - Bzzz! My phone emits an alert for something, but, since I turned the ringer off, the phone's vibrating in my leather jacket's left pocket loudly.

I wipe my tears, slip my phone out from my pocket, and touch the mirror-like screen gently. Now the screen has a picture of a blue sky and little white, puffy cloud letters that spell "Roxxi". There are also lightening bolt-shaped, yellow dots that I connect in a certain password sequence. I connect the dots in the sequence I chose, revealing my phone's wallpaper: a picture of my BFF's and I at R-Tech in le summer (we all made that pic our wallpapers that day ^^). We were doing a promo commercial for the R-Tech Touch-1 cell phone, the phones me and my friends own at the moment.

Unfortunately, on my way home from R-Tech, the crash happened. I haven't even changed the phone's wallpaper! I totes forgot, lol.

Reese has the pic I made for her (three blue diamonds, a chibi version of her winking and blowing a kiss at le viewer, and "Reese" in purple, glittery letters) as her new wallpaper (she said she loves the pic sooo much X3); Fawn has a pic of her and her evil boyfriend, Angelo, as her new wallpaper; Piper also has a pic I made for her (a cupcake with sparkly, pale-pink icing, a crazy and delicious-looking background, and "Pinkie Pie", her full nickname, in hot-pink, icing letters) as her new wallpaper; and A.J. has the funny pic I sent her the day before the crash (a selfie of me in my kitchen with my right arm wrapped around a box of Apple Jacks wearing a cowgirl hat I edited onto it) as her new wallpaper (when I took that pic, I DIED of laughter - So did A.J., lol XD).

But back to the alert. A small pop-up is on my phone's home screen, telling me I have a couple of new SociallyAwkward.com (SA) notifications. 1 may be that Thandie finally created an account and followed me! I wonder what the other ones are?

I hurry and strip to my underwear for comfort (I sleep in my undies - just sayin'). I connect the password dots on my phone again and then tap le SA app. Since SA is an R-Tech creation, the app is part of the phone.

Fun R-Tech Facts: VideoAddict.com (VA), SA, and ArtisticMind.com (AM) are all from R-Tech, the latter being like Deviantart (DA), but advanced with its own editing software, which is called Artistic Editor. The new version is Artistic Editor 4 (R-Tech is not a new company, btw - I've been an artist on both DA and AM since age 12, or 2010, lol).

After going to my SA profile, I look at the notifications:

Well whaddoya know? Thandie joined and followed me. Why did her message have to get cut off? Ugh! I click on le link to my messages. I click on Thandie's username. The screen now reads:
