1. I added another power to Roxxi's list of powers in le story's description; it matches the plan for RD to have magic in the original story. However, I'll make each of the girls' telepathic powers very different from one another's. :3

2. Future chappies may get a bit "Mature", so don't take le "Mature" rating lightly.

||Thandie's POV||

Anger Issues, A Social Life, and Connections

{September 1, 2014/12:30pm, Canterlot High's Cafeteria}

A while later, A.J. returns, helping Roxxi walk to the table. I immediately get up to help her. Roxxi smiles at me.

"Thanks, new girl," Roxxi tells me in her raspy, high-pitched voice.

"Yeah, of course!," I reply happily as we help her place a chair between Reese and Fawn.

"Roxxi, darling!," Reese says, helping Roxxi into her seat, "Are you alright?"

"I'm good," Roxxi says, grinning, her dimples sinking into her cheeks (she had dimples this whole time?), "Nothing can keep me down for long!"

"Okay," Reese replies, "But I fear for yo-"

"GUYS!," a familiar, high-pitched voice says with a bit of irritation.

"Piper, dear!," Reese says to an angry Piper, whose ginger hair seems to have been flat-ironed, "Where did you disappear to? And why are you wearing black?"

It is true; Piper, who wore the brightest clothes on the planet yesterday and today, seems to have changed into black clothing: black biker jacket (much like Roxxi's), black skinny jeans (also like Roxxi's), and black Dr. Martens boots... actually Piper is Roxxi's twin right now. The only difference is Piper's hot-pink tank top and boot laces, the patches on both sleeves of Roxxi's jacket, and Roxxi's rainbow-gradient boot laces.

Roxxi stands up and places her right arm around Piper. She tells Piper with a smirk,

"Piper, babe, you know I love you, but you're swagger-jacking. Big time. Not cool."

"What can I say?," Piper asks Roxxi in a joking manner, "Your swag's too cool not to copy. (Looking at me, smirking) Oh, look! It's le weirdo from Cafe Zen! Are you bi or something?"

"WHOA!," I say, waving my hands, "No way! Why?"

"Oh," Piper says, disappointed, "(*Smirking*) I thought I had just found Roxxi's new lesbian admirer!"

"Pinkie!," Roxxi says angrily, smacking Piper's left arm, "(To me) Ignore that. Piper's crazy. (To Piper) Now where the fuck have you been?"

"I ditched 'cause Professor Grumpy-Pants was so rude to me and I was mad!," Piper replies angrily, "My 'rents weren't home yet, thank God, so I changed and got myself in check."

"You drove all the way back to your house?," Roxxi asks incredulously, "It's so far away. How?"

"Oh, you don't remember?," Reese asks happily in her posh accent, "I told you after our R-Tech photo shoot that Pinkie and her parents moved to Canterlot! (*Suddenly sad*) I wanna move to Canterlot. Elusive's in Canterlot, R-Tech is here too... I don't see why Mr. Richards and my parents still live in Ponyville. They can afford to get out of our small town."

"No, I don't really remember a lot of stuff from that day," Roxxi replies, looking at the floor, lost in thought for a moment, "(*Smirking*) But are ya sure they aren't just making themselves look richer by living in a town with poorer people? I know it sounds bad, but it also sounds true."

"Oh Roxxi," Reese says, "Don't be silly, darling. My parents would never do a thing like that."

"Pffft," Roxxi replies with a raspy laugh, "How do you know that?"

"Okay," Reese counters, "I don't know. But why would my parents do that?"

Roxxi shrugs, her expression one of deep thought again. Piper yells,

"HE-LLOOOO! I WAS TALKING!!!"

"Sorry, Pinkie dear," Reese says, looking at Piper with interest, "What was it?"

"Why do you guys keep calling Piper 'Pinkie'?," I ask, my mind trying to make sense of Piper's nickname.

"Darling," Reese begins, smiling and resting her perfect, pale, pointed chin on the backs of her pale hands, "We all have funny nicknames! (*Giggle*) I'm called 'Rarity', for I am one-of-a-kind! Roxxi is called 'Rainbow' for several reasons: one, she has a colorful personality - emphasis on 'colorful'; two, she lives in a mansion called 'Rainbow Manor' - you can ask about her family later if you wish; three, she's pretty like a rainbow; four, she just loves Skittles; and lastly, because she likes all the colors of le rainbow. Piper's called 'Pinkie' because she loves pink. Fawn is called 'Fluttershy' because she is as delicate and pretty as a butterfly, that's where the 'Flutter' part comes from, and she's terribly shy. A.J. is called - get this: 'Applejack'!"

"Like the cereal?," I ask, giggling with the other girls as A.J. rolls her green eyes at us.

"Yeah," Roxxi says, laughing, "I was joking with her when I called her 'Applejack'. She calls me 'Skittles' sometimes. Anyway, it's 'cause A.J. lives on a farm known for it's apple orchard, she loves apples, and her middle name's Jaqueline, where her other nickname, 'Jackie', comes from. We got the 'Jack' part from her other nickname."

"Exactly," Reese replies with a smile, "Now we must let Pinkie have the floor. No interruptions!"

"Right!," all of us, minus Reese and Piper, say in unison (weird, huh?).

Piper looks at all of us and says,

"I wanted to say that I'm bored and I think we shouuuld... (*Grinning like crazy*) THROW A HUUUGE 'WELCOME TO THE SQUAD, NEW GIRL!' PARTY FOR THANDIE!"

"Oh wow," I say, flattered, "(*Grinning*) You want me to be a part of your girl 'squad'?"

"Why, yes, darling," Reese says to me, smiling, "We all agree that you're quite the perfect friend choice for us. You immediately tried to help Roxxi and you aren't fazed by Pinkie's antics."

"Trust me," I begin, laughing, "I'm fazed. And of course I'd help Roxxi. Who wouldn't after what happened to her?"

"Her idiot boyfriend!," Piper states bluntly, smiling at me as she points to some cute, iced mocha-colored guy that has black hair with aqua ends, "Tommy boy's just laughin' it up over there with his besties, not giving one damn about his girlfriend! You hear that, Roxxi? Not one damn!"

"He didn't even see me faint!," Roxxi says angrily, "Back off of him!"

"De-ni-al!," Piper sings, splitting "denial" into three syllables.

"Whatever," Roxxi replies, "(To me, smiling) We need to exchange numbers and Socially Awkward usernames."

"Ummm...," I begin, feeling socially awkward (which I am and always have been), "I don't have a Socially Awkward account."

"Wow," Roxxi says, taken aback, "Well, we'll just give you our usernames and, when you create an account, you can follow us."

"Okay!," I say happily, "I'll create one as soon as I get home."

"Perfect!," Reese says happily.

"Cool," Roxxi replies with her natural, "I'm too cool for you" voice.

"Do you have the new R-Tech Touch-1?," Roxxi asks me, making me gulp.

"N-no," I stutter, fearing that they'd ditch me for not having the latest tech.

How stupid is that? They didn't care that I wasn't a member of SociallyAwkward.com, so why would they care that I don't have the latest cool phone?

"My friend, Irene has one, though," I say, smiling.

"Oooh!," Reese says happily with a squeal, "She must have some connections. (*Sipping what looks like tea*) So what connection does she have with R-Tech?"

"Her dad helped with the design of the phone and several R-Tech gadgets," I say matter-of-factly, making them gasp.

"I got one 'cause my mom's Judge Roxlyn Striker," Roxxi says, "Plu-"

"From the 'Canterlot Court Cases' TV show?!," I ask, awestruck, "My mom loves that show! Come to think of it, I now realize that you look just like her. Save for minor differences."

"Yeah," Roxxi says happily, "Plus my dad works at R-Tech. Maintenance."

"I got the phone because Mr. Richards loves sports and admires my father," Reese says, smiling.

"My dad is R-Tech's Marketing Executive," Fawn says quietly.

"Mr. Richards is Sweet Apple Acres' best customer," A.J. says, "We got him on speed dial. That's why my siblings and I got the phones."

"Wow," I say while nodding, impressed.

"What do your parents do, darling?," Reese asks me, taking another sip of her tea.

"My mom's a housewife," I begin, "But my dad owns Sparks Electric."

Reese literally spits out her tea as if we were a cartoon. She says,

"Oh my God! That's only Equestria's biggest electric company! R-Tech is powered by it!"

"I know," I say, "Which is why I'm wondering why I didn't get a Touch-1 phone."

"Good question," Reese replies, and then starts wiping Roxxi's jacket with a napkin, wearing a nervous, "Please don't kill me, Roxxi!" grin (she kinda spit the tea out on Roxxi's leather, making Roxxi glare at her).

I giggle as Roxxi continues to glare at Reese. Surprisingly, I'm actually glad I have more friends now! These girls are genuine. Funny. They balance out my serious nature. They're perfect friend choices for me too.
