Rosalie's POV
I wake up extra early since we have to travel farther to get to the diner. I take a quick shower and let it air dry while I put on blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and my vans. I put on my eyeliner and mascara, lastly putting my hair up in a high ponytail.

I leave my room, shut my door quietly and make my way to the Autobot's hangar. I walk in, looking for Bee amongst the variety of cars. I find him by Jazz and Ironhide; the sound of my feet echo throughout the hangar.

"Bee, I have to go." I whisper so I don't wake the others. I place my hand on his hood to hopefully wake him up. His passenger door opens, making me smile as I crawl in. Bee keeps his lights off until we make it outside.

"Sleep well?" I look at the radio and smile.

"I did, sorry I had to wake you."

"Don't be....I'm honored to....escort such a....pretty lady like you..." I blush and look out the window. After about an hour, we make it to the diner. I'm beyond confused, didn't it take us all night to get to their base?

"Wait, how did it take us an hour to get here, but it took us a whole night to get to your base?" Bee pulls into a spot and then I see a person appear in the drivers seat. He turns to me and smiles.

"I drove around all night to keep you and Mason safe. I wanted to make sure that no one was following us." I nod at him as I lay in the seat. It's a little after five and Gary won't be here until a quarter before six.

"Bee, how does your voice sound clear and not from a radio?" The boy smiles.

"Well I have to blend in, and Ratchet helped so I sounded normal." He explains. I nod and look out the window. The sun barely peeking out, the night sky getting lighter.

"Next time we won't have to leave so early since we're only an hour away." I tell him watching the sun. I hear a car door shut bringing my attention to Gary and Ruby going to the back door of the diner.

I get out of Bee's vehicle form, along with him and the older couple turn to us.

"Good morning!" Ruby is always so cheerful and it brings a smile to my face.

"Where's your car?" Gary questions raising an eyebrow. Think Rose, think.

"I'm having engine problems and Ben offered me a ride." I lie and it seems like he bought it. We go inside and Ben sits in a back corner booth. I clock in and organize silverware when Ruby comes over to me.

"I'm sorry to have to call you in on such a short notice." I shake my head and smile at her.

"Don't be sorry Ruby, you know you can always call me. I can't believe Taylor walked out." Ruby pulls me into a hug and I return it.

Later in the afternoon the breakfast and lunch rush died down to just a few stragglers coming and going. I was just finishing up dishes and wrapping silverware when Ruby approaches me.

"You can clock out sweetie, Amber is here for the evening."

"Are you sure? I don't mind staying." Ruby shakes her head.

"Rose you've covered two shifts that weren't yours and not to mention we were extremely busy today. Go home." She smiles at the end. I finish with the last of the silverware and give in.

"Okay, but call if you need me." After putting the silverware away and clocking out, I make my way over to Bee. He smiles and gets up from the booth and we walk towards the exit. When we go to Bee's alt, he opened the door for me and closed it as I slid into the passengers seat.

The seatbelt slips over me and buckles and the engine comes to life. I count the tips I made and smile, I have enough to get the one thing Mason has been nagging me for.

"A penny...for your thoughts?" I smile and look at the radio since his holoform isn't in the seat.

"I am just happy for Mason's birthday this year."

"His birthday?" I nod my head.

"I try to spoil Mason on the holidays." I'll have to go to the store soon and get it. I can just picture it now, how happy he will be in the morning of his birthday. The seat starts warming up and my smile gets bigger.

"You're a...good sister..." I smile a cheeky smile at his words and look out the window. I've heard many people say that, but...there are times that I don't believe I am.

We arrive at the base and I climb out when Bee opens the door for me. I'm greeted with the Arcee triplets, Ratchet, and some N.E.S.T soldiers. I smile and wave at them.

"Where is everyone?" I inquire walking over to the triplets as Ratchet looks down at me.

"They left to investigate an unknown signal. They should be back soon." Ratchet informs me turning back to the screen where the soldiers were monitoring. I feel a light tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Elita.

"Mason is in the rec room with the baby Dinobots."

"Thank you," I quickly make my way to the game room to see the tv on and Mason playing with the baby Dino's. I think I will leave them be, they're having fun. As I look at the Dino's, I make my way to where Grimlock and the others are.

Upon entering the room, I'm greeted with a loud screech before I'm covered in darkness. I laugh when I look up to see Strafe peeking under his wing to see me. I wrap my arms around his middle the best I can after realizing that he was hugging me.

"Awe Strafe, did you miss me?" I tease and he uncovers me as my eyes adjust to the light. I step back to see the rest of the Dino's have come to join. A specific Spinosaurus greets me with a nudge and I place my hands on his snout and lay my head between my hands.

"I'm sorry Scorn, I had to work, but I'm here for the rest of the day." I smile and look to their others with yips and squawks in response.

"You really do have a beautiful voice..." I hear Clementine say softly. I turn my head to look over at her. Clem is smiling standing in the doorway. I shake my head taking a deep breathe.

"So I've heard...I think of dad when I hear that song." I look down at my feet, my smile turning to a frown.

"I'm sure he thinks of you all the time too." Clem replies quietly as she walks over to me with a small smile. My frown becomes a thin line, my hands tighten on my arms squeezing my eyes shut.

"I know, I'm sure he is but...but not in the way you think he is." I lay my head on my arms.

"What do you mean?" She asked softly. I'm probably talking nonsense here, but I-I'm not sure how to say it.

I sigh heavily and keep my eyes level. I look at Grimlock who is asleep in front of me. "It's nothing." My voice becomes quiet as my gaze goes back to the ground. I can feel Clem stare at me so I take a quick glimpse.

I'm right, she is looking me worriedly and sadly, but she nods her head at me in understanding. She even gives me a small comforting smile.

"Did you need something?" I look up at her as I wonder why she came in the dinobots room. Clementine shakes her head with a small smile.

"Nah, I just check up on the big bag of bolts sometimes." She says quietly, "Strafe and Snarl sometimes get into little fights, so I make sure they're both happy." Clementine whispers. I look over at the two she mentioned and smile.

"You learn something new everyday. Scorn hasn't left my side since I came back." I explain leaning back on the said Dino.

"He's usually the more docile one, and Grim has his moments, but they're all just like giant robotic cats and dogs." Clem says softly with a small laugh. I smile,

"So I've heard," I turn to my side and rub Scorn's snout, "but I would like to think of them as people."

"That's how I treat them." Clementine said softly with a smile as she sat down in front of me. I hear my phone ping and I reach into my pocket to check it. I sigh tiredly as I put my phone away.

"Tomorrow is going to be great." I grumble laying my head back against scorn.

"What's wrong?" Clementine asks softly looking at me worriedly.

"Taylor walked out without giving Ruby and Gary a two week notice. No one is wanting to pick up her hours so I'm doing it." I close my eyes tiredly. I keep thinking about the positive outlook of the extra money I will receive on my next paycheck.

"Want me to watch Mas for you?" Clem asked softly with a smile. I smile back at her,

"Would you? I mean you don't have to. I'm sure he will be playing with the little Dinobots." I rub at my face tiredly.

"I don't mind at all, and it'll let him get used to the place more." Clem said with a smile.

"Thank you," I gush and look at my phone again. "I better head to bed. I have to open the diner tomorrow. Good night Clem," I bid farewell standing up before leaving the room.

"Night Rosie," Clem said softly with a small smile. I turn towards her and wave tiredly,

"Night!" I head to my room assuming Clementine is going to hers here shortly.

I unlock the door and step in with bee right behind me. I set the keys down by the time clock machine in the back before clocking in. I grab my apron and walk through the kitchen door to the front. Bee is sitting at the counter smiling at me.

"What?" I question with narrowed eyes and a goofy smile on my face.

"Nothing," he responds with a shake of his head. That smile never leaving his face.

"Would you tell me why you're so happy this morning?" I giggle at the end. I'm so interested as to why, but why won't he tell me?

"What, I can't smile? Is that a crime?" I roll my eyes and go back to making coffee. The ring of the bell tells me our first customer.

"Good morning Dave!" I smile getting his coffee already for him. He sits down, shrugging his coat off and laying it on the counter next to him. I set his coffee in front of him and give Bee his water. I run in the back to start making Dave's breakfast.

"Here you go, two eggs over easy, bacon, toast, and two pancakes." I place his food down and wipe my hands on a towel. Dave takes one bite and turns to Bee.

"Are you her boyfriend?" My eyes go wide at his random question.

"Dave!" I shriek and Bee shakes his head.

"No sir,"

"That's a shame. If I had a girl who cooked just as good as her, I wouldn't let her go." He goes back to eating his breakfast and I'm covering my bright red face. I peek over at Bee to see him smiling with a soft laugh.

"Where's Gary and Ruby?" Dave asks taking a bite of his eggs. I filled his coffee cup up and set it back on the warmer.

"They had some errands to run this morning, so they asked me to open up today." He nods his head going back to eating. I roll up silverware in napkins before the morning and lunch rush begin. I have a feeling today is gonna be long.

"Thank you again Rosie for opening up and staying till we closed." Ruby says as Gary locks up the diner with Bee and I heading to his vehicle mode. I turn to the older couple and smiled.

"You're welcome, I'm so glad you guys showed up. I thought I was gonna be mauled by hungry customers." I giggle as Bee opens the door for me.

"You two have a good evening, Rose, you can have tomorrow off. We will see you this weekend." Ruby states walking away with Gary to their car.

How did I get so lucky to have them as my bosses? I get in bee's alt mode to be embraced in a comforting warmth.

"Ready to...head back to....base?" Bee asks and I nod. I lean back in the seat enjoying the nice ride.
