Sadie's POV

I carefully reached for the door knob. I opened the door, I saw the teacher and many other students who just looked at me weirdly.

"Welcome! You must be Sadie Davis, I'm Mrs. Holly,"

I nodded.

 "You can sit beside Eve," She pointed to a girl with brown hair and green eyes. I walked over to the seat beside her. She grinned at me and I did the same in return.

"Okay class, get you're note books and get ready to take notes," Mrs. Holly said.

I grabbed my note book, and took my pencil case.

Mrs. Holly was already writing things on the board.

"Eve and Anna can you pass out these assignments?" Mrs. Holly asked.

"Yes." Eve and Anna replied at the same time.

They got up from there seats and took the papers.

Anna gave me a paper. I looked at it, it should be easy. 

"You have ten minutes to finish the paper." Mrs. Holly said.

How I'm I suppose to do that? There are at least a 200 questions!

Writing as fast as I can I heard "Everyone pack up it is almost time for you're next class. If your not done that will have to be you're home work,"

I was wrong this is not easy.

Then the second bell started to ring.

Oh no, oh no, oh no! I'm so going to be late!

I grabbed my bag and ran out the door.

Next I have Mr. Evan he does math. Oh great I'm horrible at math. 

I found it! I opened the door. 

"You are late, detention!" I think that was Mr. Evan. Now I have detention on my first day. Isn't life great?

I started to walk to the detention room. The room of detention was right beside the main office. I walked over to the door and twisted the door knob.

I only saw a sleeping teacher and empty rows of seats. 

I guess I'm the only person in this place besides the teacher.

I sat down, there were already some papers on the desks. I started to work on the paper so I can get out of here faster.

On my way out I bumped in to someone. "Watch where you're going!" The person I bumped in to said. "Sorry." I mumbled.

Next class is Mrs. Rose.

Finally! I found it!

I twisted the door knob and Mrs. Rose said, "Why hello dear, welcome I'm Mrs Rose. Take a seat,"

I nodded and took a seat in the back.

Lunch, finally! I'm so hungry!

I walked to the lunch area. "Hey Sadie, over here!" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Eve and Anna waving to me.

I started to walk over where they were sitting. "Um...hey..." I said weirdly.

"Hey, I'm Anna, this is Eve. We are in the same classes right?"  "Let me see." Anna said reaching her hand over to me. I gave her my schedule.

"Looks like we got most classes together!" Anna said in excitement.  She handed back my schedule.

"So..."Anna said.

"So what?" I asked.

"So how's you're day?" Anna replied.

"Um...great...I guess..." I mumbled.

" I feel like we are going to be BFFs in no time!" Eve started to say.

"You guys want to come over to my house after school?" Eve asked.

Just before I could answer my phone buzzed. "What does it say?" Anna questioned.

"It said my parents are coming home around midnight." I said.

"Then you can come to my house then!" Eve said and started to jump up and down like a kid getting ice-cream.

"Yeah, I guess I can come..." I said.

"Of course you are coming!" Eve shouted.

Anna nodded in agreement. "You have to go, her house is HUGE." Anna requested.

"Okay then, what street is you're house?" I asked. " Oak River street," Eve answered. "House  number?" "254."

The bell ring. Meaning it was the end of lunch.

Once I got out of the lunch room I looked at my schedule, next I had Mr. James, and he does science.

I opened the door and I was greeted by Mr. James.

"Hello, you must be...Sadie? Is that correct?" Mr. James asked. "Yes, you're correct." I replied.

"Take a seat dear." He said.

I nodded. I took a seat by the window in the back row. I looked around the class room, and I saw Anna in the class but not Eve. Anna looked up at me and smiled, I gave her a small wave.

"Today," Mr. James started. "You will need a partner for this project, you have to observe something that is a part of nature. You will use you're senses taste, smell, touch and all that stuff. I will give you lots of paper to write with for your project. The project is going to be due next month. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes." The class answered.

"Good, now find a partner, and once you have there will be paper on my desk. And once you have the paper you may leave." Mr. James said.

"Sadie can you be my partner?" I heard Anna say behind me. I turn around. "Sure." I replied.

Anna smiled. "Okay sense we are partners lets get the paper and get out of here!" Anna cried.

"Okay, okay." I said.

We took the papers and took our bags and went out of the room.

"So...what is the object we are going to use?" Anna questioned.  " I'm not sure yet," I replied.  "Let's meet up with Eve, Eve said you have Mrs. Talia for art," I looked at my paper and I did have Mrs. Talia for art. "You have art with Eve and me, and we should be going to art class now," Anna said.

"Alright then. Where is Mrs. Talia's room?" I asked. "She is down the hall and then you turn left and you go down that hall and then go right," Anna answered. "Oh." Was all I said.

"Here let me show you!" Anna said happily. " Thanks, Anna," I said. "No problem, anytime," Anna replied. And then she started walking down the hall." Follow me." Was all Anna said.

"Okay." I mumbled.

We reached Mrs. Talia's room and we saw Eve waiting for us. "Eve!" Anna shouted. "Anna, Sadie!" Eve shouted as well.

"Hey Eve!" I said smiling. "Let's go girls," Said Eve. We opened the door and went in.

I took a seat by Eve and Anna. " I heard that we have a new student. Sadie?"

I put my hand up." Over here," I requested. " Welcome, my name is Mrs. Talia,"

I nodded my head.

"So," Mrs. Talia said. "We are going to have free draw," Then she looked at me. "Sadie free draw, just... draw what ever you want," Mrs. Talia said. I nodded again.

"What are you gonna draw?" Asked Eve. "Not sure yet.

"I'm going to do a, wait for it...a panda!" Anna shouted.

" We do NOT shout in art class Anna. You know the rules." Mrs. Talia requested.

"Sorry." Anna said quietly. " I'm going to do...a...um...a tur-" Eve was cut off by Anna.

"You are not going to draw a turtle Eve, you will do a Panther." Anna smiled at her idea.

" I think I will do a Lynx." I said slowly. What? It was the first thing that popped up in my mind. We started to draw.
