Natsu POV

I did NOT sleep at all these past few days. Why you may ask?

MY RIDICULOUS MOM.

~Flashback to when Lucy left Natsu's house after the 'Sleepover'~

"Natsu~! Wendy~! Come down stairs, we need to talk!" Called my mother from downstairs.

She must have woken up already.  Damn, I still don't know how she never gets hangovers when she drinks so much.

"Coming~!" We both shouted at the same time. She was eating breakfast at the table so we both took a seat in front of her.

"So what's up mom?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Well, Yesterday as you know I had to meet up with a client at a restaurant? Well they canceled and as I was leaving, guess who I bumped into??" She asked with a big grin on her face. Wendy and I looked at each other and went along with it.

"Who?" We both asked.

"Jude! I was just as surprised to see him there as he was!" I was in shock and I could see Wendy was too, so we just let her continue.

"He said that he was there to meet with someone who also canceled on him. Small world huh? So we both went out for some drinks to catch up and one thing led to another...Now we're going out! Isn't that great!"

"T-That's really great mom!" Wendy said since I was too in paralyzed to answer.

That is so wrong in so many ways possible. And right after I find out my feelings for Lucy?! Really?! What the hell?!?

"Yeah! So I just wanted to tell you guys that. You can go and finish whatever you were doing." My mother waved us off with a smile.

~End of flashback~

That was the only thing I could think about until the end of the day.

As I'm walking out of the classroom, I pass by Gajeel.

"Yo Gajeel, where are you going? The exit is that way." I say while pointing in the right direction.

"Na, I'm staying a few minutes since the shrimp and Lucy are practicing. Why don't you come with me? I really don't want to be the only guy there." He said honestly. It would be a little awkward but, what the hell.

"Yeah sure." We made our way to what seemed to be the chorus room and before I opened the door, Gajeel stopped me by stretching his arm in front of me.

"Wha-"

"Shh!" He quietly opening the door without them noticing us and signaled me to listen closely.

"The note is a bit higher." Commented Erza.

"Yeah Lu-chan. Try it like this. ♪I've got all I need when I've go you and I, I look around me and see a sweet light, stuck in the dark but you my flashlight, you're getting me getting me thought the night. See?" With that dumb smirk on Gajeel's face, I could see why he wanted to listen.

"Okay, let me try from the top. ♪When tomorrow comes, I'll on be on my own, feeling frightened of the things that I don't know, when tomorrow comes, when tomorrow comes, when tomorrow comes.♪" Just listening to her sing made my heart beat faster and my face get a light shade of pink.

This is just another reason why I like her.

"Perfect!" Added Erza. "You guys can come in now!" She called out to us making us go stiff fearing the wrath of the Titania. Gajeel opened the door slowly to reveal an embarrassed Levy and Lucy. I quickly looked away because the way Lucy looked now would make me even more flustered.

"Sorry but the singing shrimp here has ta head home before it gets late." Instructed Gajeel while placing his big hand on Levy's small head where she puffed her cheeks out in annoyance.

"And I have to go visit my grandparents today, so I have to get going too." Erza stood up and before I knew it, it was just Lucy and I.

"H-Hey."

"Hey.." We both greeted awkwardly.

"So...where's Wendy?" She asked trying to make conversation.

"Oh yeah, She just waiting-WENDY"

I forgot to pick her up!!

I quickly grabbed a hold of Lucy's hand and ran out to the school gates.

D-Damn, Wendy was right about me acting how I feel when I'm rushed..

Once I get there, I let got of Lucy and I see a pissed-off Wendy with her arms crossed and little foot tapping impatiently on the ground.

"What took you so long?!" I panted and tried to steady my breathing before I answered.

"It's just that-"

"He was helping me practice and we lost track of time." Lucy interrupted by saving my ass from an unwanted lecture from my little sister.

"Oh. Oh~ I get it....That's fine. Let's just get home" I sighed in relief. "And you own me dessert from forgetting about me." She added with a smirk.

"Yeah yeah. Luce that discount really saves me a lot of money because of this little expensive one." I joked earning a tongue stuck out at me from Wendy. I could hear Lucy giggle at our mini fight. I turn to look at her and smile.

"N-Natsu? Why are you staring at me?" She asked.

Oh shit! Think of something!

"What are you guys waiting for! Let's gooo!" Once again Wendy saved me, but I have a feeling she going to use this against me later too.

We all walk to 'The sugar fairy' like we have before. But this time we talked normally and without all the awkwardness. Seeing her smile and giggle at the stupid things I say, really makes my day.

It took all my will power to not randomly take her hand in mine and have our fingers intertwined together. But then I remember what my mom told me and it all just disappears.

Lucy and I would be step brother and sister. Oh god I would be in love with my sister.

That's so wrong.

"Natsu!" Lucy called taking me out of my train of thought.

"Sorry, what?"

"I asked you what you were going to order. Man you're more spaced out then usual. Anything wrong?" I didn't even notice we were already at the shop and Lucy was behind the counter leaning a bit forward so she could write down my order.

"Oh, no. No there's nothing wrong." She looked at me to urge me to continue, but I just looked at her confused.

"Natsu you're holding up the line, what do you want?" You. I was so dangerously close to saying out loud.

"Surprise me with the best you've got beau-" I covered my mouth with my hand before I could finish.

Damn it! Wha-What the heck is wrong with me??

Lucy looked at me with a confused face.

"Um, sure. You can just wait over there." She pointed to the 'handing out section'. "Welcome to The sugar fairy, what would you like to order?" She asked in a kind voice as I continued walking. I picked up my order with Wendy, said goodbye to Lucy and then left.

The rest of the week passed by quickly. Lucy, Levy, Juvia and Erza would practice after school and then I would offer to walk her to work.

I also found out that, because of Gray's 'surprise' visit from his brother, they had to catch up so Gray isn't going to be here this week.

Now tomorrows the talent competition. Let me just say, I cant wait for Lucy's big performance....
