~Monday Morning: Natsu's POV~

"Morning guys!" I called out to our usual group.

"Good morning Natsu! Surprise to see you here without a certain blond." Hinted Mirajane.

"Yeah, I was going to pick her up but she said she had some things to do before she came and that I should just go on ahead."

"By the way, how is she doing? You know, after the whole..accident." Asked Levy.

"She's recovering well. Wendy and I would visit her during the weekend."

"Speaking of Lucy, here she comes." Mira pointed to the school gates. And there she was walking to the gates with her earphones on while nodding a bit to the beat. I was about to call out to her but sadly I was interrupted.

"Lucy-chan!" Gray called out. He just so happened to be walking up to the school at the same time. He went rushing to her and trapped her in a hug. I unconsciously balled my hands into fists at my side.

I couldn't hear what he was talking about but when he let go, he held onto her shoulders and looked worried. Lucy looked a bit surprised but then waved her hands dismissively.

Right, Gray really freaked out when I told him about Lucy's accident.

Lucy gave him a big smile and he returned it. Then he did something I didn't expect.

He hung his arm around her shoulders and walked her to us. I could feel my knuckles getting white and my teeth grinding together.

"Good morning guys!" Said Gray and Lucy.

*RIIIIIIIIIIING*

"We should get going." Said Erza. I was relived when Lucy wiggled her way away from Gray but instead of coming to talk to me, she went to Gajeel.

"Morning Gajeel!" She had a really happy tone in her voice.

"And what are you so giddy about bunny girl?" She chuckled at bit.

"I talked to my lawyer Lahar today and he said that he would love to help you with your case! Here's his number. Call him after school to schedule a day to meet up." She handed him a business card.

There she goes again thinking about other people when she should worry about her health. I smiled to myself.

Gajeel on the other hand had a dumb looking expression on his face.

"Whatever you're going to do to thank me, do it to Levy, I don't want my best friend getting jealous." She wiggled her eyebrows to Levy.

"Lu-chan! I do not-!" She couldn't finish talking do to the fact that Gajeel kissed her.

"Come on kids, this is a school, there are like, children here." Commented Mr.Clive as he passed by us. But he also winked at Gajeel and kept walking after giving me a hi-five.

"Glad you didn't do that to me. Wellp! I'll be heading off to English literature, see you guys at lunch!" Lucy waved goodbye as she entered the classroom with Lisanna, Elfman and Gray.

As for me, I went to biology with Erza, Mirajane, Gajeel and a red faced Levy. Mr. Wakaba was always a laid back kind of teacher so I got the chance to just chat with Mira and the others.

"So what caused everything? Levy told me that Lucy was just heading to her boyfriend's house."

"Ex-Boyfriend." I clarified a bit smugly. Everyone was really interested now leaning closer to listen, so I started explaining about what Luce had told me and then continued on from where I met up with her.

"Wait, did you say Yukino?" Asked Mira looking confused.

"Yeah. Lucy described her as a white haired bitch."

"Damn it!" Mira said in a low voice.

"What's wrong?" Asked Levy.

"Don't you guys remember Yukino? As in, my cousin Yukino?"

"Wait so she was the one who did that?" Asked Gajeel.

"This was all Lisanna's doing, I just know it." Mira looked disappointed.

"How do you know?" It was Erza's turn to ask but I didn't pay attention do to the fact that I was to busy getting angry at Lisanna.

If she didn't send her cousin to mess everything up, Lucy wouldn't have had to go through all of that pain.

I squeezed my pen and I could feel it starting to crack.

I'm gonna have to talk to her later..

~Time Skip: Finishing School: Normal POV~

Now where's that pinkette?

Lucy thought as she left her class room.

Leaving his stuff at my house, really? He acts like he lives there.

She smiled to herself as she thought about his stupidity.

"Hey Lucy-Chan!" Called Gray as he jogged over to her.

"Hey Gray, what's up?"

"Can I talk to you in privet?" He asked a little awkwardly.

"Sure." She answered smoothly.

"Lets go over here, less people, the better." Lucy was starting to get a little suspicious. Once they sat down at a bench, Lucy asked.

"So what's it about About?"

"..My brother, some 'family' problems and something else."

"Oh, then go on ahead, I'm all ears." She said with a smile.

"Well.."

~Meanwhile~

Where is she? Natsu thought as he ran down the school hallways. Once he got to the lockers, he finally spotted her.

Seeing that she couldn't see him from behind her opened locker, he took the chance to seem cool and wait until she closes her locker to surprise her like in the movies.

He leaned on the lockers and waited a few moments, then she closed it and jumped a bit when she saw him.

He felt cool.

"Oh hey Natsu. You startled me. What's up?"

"Why did you make your cousin go for Lucy's boyfriend?" He asked bluntly. Lisanna was a bit surprised but tried to keep her cool.

"What are you talking about? Hey Natsu I think all that hot sauce is getting to your head." She said with a giggle.

"Stop pretending like you don't know what I'm talking about. I Know what you did now fess up." Lisanna got nervous and started fiddling with her fingers but eventually sighed.

"Yeah I did..." Natsu looked at her like saying he wants an explanation.

"I wanted you to see who she really is, don't you see Natsu? This is all just an act!"

"She only acted that way because of her father but she's had a change of heart. Why can't you just trust-"

"Because the last time I did that, I was almost killed!" Everything fell silent. Good thing there was no one around, if not this really would have caused a big scene.

"Look Lis, I know what happened back then was really...tough, but don't you remember what I said to you that day that I found you?" Lisanna was already on the verge of tears remember that horrible time.

"Yeah.."

"I said that from then on I would protect you from anyone who seemed like a threat and that I would always be there for you. That's why I'm saying that this time you can trust her." He put a hand on her shoulder for comfort and gave her a kind smile.

"Yeah I know. I always remember what you told me that day at the hospital. I guess that's also why I fell in love with you." It took a moment for Natsu to processes what she said.

"Wait what?" He looked to her with confusion.

"I-I said I love you! I always have.." Natsu honestly couldn't believe it. He just stood there not knowing what to do until he heard a pen drop.

They both turned to look at who it was.

"L-Luce! Just the person I wanted to see! Lisanna here has something she wants to tell you." Natsu pulled Lissana to Lucy trying to avoid the subject.

Once they were face to face, Natsu gave her a small nudge so she could continue.

Lisanna shyly explained everything and apologize. It was noticeable that she meant it by the way she acted.

On the other hand Lucy stayed speechless the whole time until she finished.

"-And that's what happened. I'm really sorry for what I did." It took a moment for Lucy to respond.

"I...I forgive you. But I'm not saying that were going to be best friends right off the bat."

"S-sure! Of course, I understand."

"Hey Natsu, you left you history note book at my place, I'll give it to you tomorrow." And with that she turned on her heal and started walking away.

"W-Wait Luce! Sorry Lisanna, gotta go, see you tomorrow!" He called out as he left jogging to catch up with Lucy.

Well, I'm glad that he a least heard what I had to say.. Lisanna thought as she started walking home.
