"Are you sure you're okay?" Arabella asks sweetly, her naked body still draped over mine from when we had sex. "That wasn't like before, and you look sad. What's wrong?"
She's right, it wasn't like it usually is. This time, while we had sex, I wasn't getting that hard whenever she moaned, I wasn't enjoying her mouth around me, and my mind kept trying to replace her face with a certain someone's instead.
And it scared me, because my own girlfriend wasn't turning me on doing extremely sexual things while a purple haired faggot got me hard by kissing me.
Do you understand why I'm freaking out now?
I nod my head and turn my face away from hers. If I look at her, my mind will try to imagine her as another, someone I could get easily if I wanted, but am too scared to. Scared because it's a guy, scared because I'm straight.
Scared because it's West.
"I got to go Bell," I say softly and pry her nude self off me. "Sorry, baby, but I have... Things to do. I'll call you when I get home, okay?"
My girlfriend frowns, her hair- that was once shockingly red and is now a pretty brown- falling into her face. "Did I do something wrong?" She asks quietly, her eyes filling with tears. "Am I not good enough for you anymore?"
I inwardly groan and take her into my arms. "No," I sigh. "No, that's not it. You're fine, baby, just fine. I just need to go, okay? I'll be back soon, love."
I should be calling West "love".
I jolt back, surprised I even thought that. It shocks me so badly that I grab Arabella and press my lips on hers passionately, trying to let her lips sail me to a place where I love just her, but drowning in emotions as I think of West and how soft his lips were.
I squeeze my eyes shut and push her back on the bed, letting her body be the key to my straightness.

"That was better," Arabella says joyfully as we both get dressed. "And you didn't seem sad either! I hope that I can make you happy in any way when your sad!"
I cringe, suddenly annoyed at her cheerfulness.
Why is she so goddamn cheery when I may be crushing on someone else?
I shake my head of those thoughts. No, I just like Arabella. I just love my girlfriend and not some annoying, purple haired queer.
"Bye Arabella," I call before walking out of her house without another word.

I knock on Sam's door. Ever since Sam and Kayden got married, Sam totally forgot about college and just wanted go focus on his husband and son, my nephew- who he shares custody of with my cousin.
"It's open," Sam calls, a crying baby in the background. I open the door to see Sam holding his son Rhett in his arms, trying to get him to stop crying.
You see, Sam and my cousin- female cousin, I might add. This all happened before Sam realized he was gay- were a thing. They dated and stuff, and before Hannah moved away, they had goodbye-sex.
Resulting in Hannah's pregnancy with Sam's son, my nephew- due to the fact I'm his Godfather, Hannah thought it would only be right for Rhett to call me Uncle. Sam didn't want anything to do with the baby up until about half a year ago. Since then, Rhett has been living in between his mother's house and Sam's.
"Let me see 'em," I hold out my hands and wait as Sam gratefully dumps his wailing son into them. Once in my arms, I start to coo. "Hey Rhetty! Yes, it's your Uncle Darren!"
"Uncleee!" My nephew calls in his adorable little baby voice, his huge grin showing little baby teeth. "Dada?"
I look around the room for Sam and see that he is totally missing. "Hm, where is your dada..." I walk to Sam's kitchen, Rhett still securely in my arms.
In the kitchen, baking as always, is Kayden's mother, Pattie. "How's it going, momma?" I ask, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Ever since Kayden and I have become friends and even started hanging out without Sam being there, I have became closer to Pattie.
Pattie is a second mother to me, and I call her mom because she babies all of us kids even though, technically, we aren't kids anymore.
"Hey, darling," Pattie gives me a quick one-armed hug and continues to beat eggs, the house already smelling wonderful. "What do you need?"
I take a cookie off the baking rack and take a large bite handing the rest to my nephew. "Looking for your son-in-law. He was here a second ago, dumped his son in my arms, and dashed."
"I don't know why he would leave Rhett with you, of all people," Pattie sighs but giggles when she sees my pout. "Oh please, you just gave Rhett a cookie even though you know he's not supposed to have sweets."
I laugh and kiss my nephews baby soft hair. His hair is exactly like Sam's, minus the waves, which Rhett got from his mother. "Yeah, but uncle's are supposed to spoil their nieces and nephews."
"Yes, I do suppose so..." Pattie rolls her eyes and shoos me out of the kitchen. "I don't know where he is, check his bedroom."
I nod and thank her, snatching one more cookie for good measures, and walk to Sam's room. Not really paying attention to where I'm going, I don't see the purple haired boy come out of the bathroom, making me crash into him. Luckily, before I fall I regain my balance and keep Rhett and I standing. West on the other hand is on the ground, rubbing his butt. Wow... I never noticed how nice his ass looks in those jeans, they just make it look so-
Oookaaay! That is enough, Darren! What the hell?! You're talking about how good a guy's ass looks, but when your girlfriend was shaking her naked one in your face, you couldn't have been less amused.
Oh great, and now I'm talking to myself in third-person too...
"Oh yeah, I'm totally fine," West rolls his eyes and pushes himself off the ground. I grunt out a response, not making eye contact. "Ah yes, pleasure to see you also, Darren."
I narrow my eyes and glower at the stupid purple haired boy in front of me. "I really don't like you," I hiss, brushing past him with a scowl.
"Love you too, man!" West calls, giggling all the while. Dammit, why does his giggle send butterflies to my stomach?
I'm not gay! Do I have to sound it out, like, what the hell?! I. Am. NOT. Gay. I. Do. NOT. Like. West.
West pushes past me, going straight to June's- Kayden's little sister- room. While he is in front of me, my eyes wander down to his butt on their own accord.
Suddenly, I feel uncomfortable... And looking down at myself, I realize why.
"You gotta be fucking kidding me right now!" I groan and try to cover up myself. Before West, who is still in the hallway with, can see me, I slip into Sam's room, where I find Sam asleep on his bed.
"Hey, Sam," I poke Sam's side, causing a snore to erupt from my best friend's mouth. "You forgot your son!"
Nothing.
A small knock comes from the door, so I quietly place Rhett in his crib, not wanting to wake his exhausted-looking father. When I open the door, I mentally kill myself. "What West?" I whisper harshly.
West sways from one foot to the other, his hand awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. "Um, I was-"
I slap a hand over his mouth because he is fucking screaming. "Shhh! Lower your voice! Sam's asleep, and it looks like Rhett is due for a nap too."
West nods, and I slowly peel my hand from his smooth, deliciously tan face.
Oh. My. God.
Deliciously?! That's it, I've totally lost it!
"Er... I just, um, wanting to know if you, uh, were okay?" West asks quietly, his voice sounding deeper and raspier while whispering. "'Cause you were, like, screaming? So... Are you okay?"
And just when that problem was going down...
"Yes, I'm perfectly fine, thank you," I grind out, not meeting his eyes. "Is that all?"
West shifts between his two feet again, biting on his bottom lip in a subtly-attractive way. "Ye-"
I don't give him time to finish before slamming the door in his face and sliding down it, my legs curled into my chest and my head in my hands. When I'm sure West is gone, I ask myself "What the hell is wrong with me?"
"Denial,"
I look up and see Sam sitting up, rubbing at his eyes. "What?" I ask, still curled into a ball.
"You're in denial, Dar," Sam stretches, making his body crack and pop. "You make it painfully obvious to everyone that you like West. Everyone except West himself. You physically wince when you see my brother and West together, and you have a goddamn boner, and I doubt Rhett gave you it... Unless he did... And if that's the case I'm kicking you out of my house..."
He shakes his head. "Anyway," My best friend stands and pulls me to my feet, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "You like him, stop trying to fight it, and you need to go get him before someone else does. Yeah, West can be a little annoy and is kinda hyperactive, but he's a good guy. Attractive, as well, and I know about five guys who want to date West. All friends of mine who I can call in a second. And if you don't go get him soon, I can promise you I'll call them."
He sighs and releases my shoulder. "Don't be put off just because he's a guy, that doesn't necessarily mean your gay, you could be bi-sexual if you love... Or loved... Arabella. And it won't change you in the least bit. Yeah, you're gay, but that doesn't make you any less human, Darren."
