Alicia POV

"You know we should probably stop eating Taco Bell everyday for lunch." I suggested after we order our food and sat down at a table

"Yeah don't wanna turn into my fat 8th grade self again." Makayla huffs sitting down

"Girl stop, I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about me I have my first volleyball tryouts session today and I don't wanna have a stomach ache cause I ate so much food." I said pressing my lips together

"Cora is doing volleyball, maybe you could actually talk to her there." She pointed out

I shrugged "Are you doing any sports this year?" I asked changing the subject about her

"Yes. Homework." She stated tucking a piece of hair behind her ear

"That's not a sp-"

She cut me off "Yes, even though it doesn't include a team you still have to practice to get better and you can get so tried from practicing so much."

I squinted my eyes at her confused "Ok whatever you say." I let out a little laugh

She rubbed her temple do "Man I don't know what the fuck that was, I was trying to be funny. No I'm not doing any sports this year."

"Why?" I asked

"I don't know. I mean I did dance and softball my freshman year, then lacrosse my sophomore year, then softball again and cheerleading but only for like a short amount of time. But I just guess that I don't feel like doing anything my senior, I don't know maybe that might change." She explained shrugging

"Wait you're doing cheerleading, I remember you always swore that you'll never do cheerleading cause you thought it was a waste of time." I quoted stuff from the past

"Yeah that's why I only did it for a short amount of time." She said as if I was dumb and chuckled

"What made you do it in the first place?" I questioned

"Uhhh-" she couldn't finish her sentence because we heard the bell of the door ring which meant someone walked in

I turned around and looked to see Ethan, Grayson, Jack, and couple other of their friends walk in

"Oh my gosh." Makayla shakes her head as she groans sightly

Grayson looked towards my way and we made eye contact for a quick second before I turned around again back to Makayla

"I never saw them here before." I bit the inside of my cheek talking to Makayla again

The next thing you know Grayson and Jack walk over to the table that me and Makayla were sitting at

"Oh lookie here, it's Alicia." Jack smirked standing in front of me

Makayla rolled her and placed her forehead in the palm of her hand

"This is like the first time I've seen you since you got back." He crossed his arms over his chest and gave me a cocky smile

"We have Spanish class together, you asked for help from me on problems before.." I said saying really obvious stuff

"Really..." He goes into thought about it "Oh yeah, hey alicia."

Grayson sightly groaned pushing Jack out of the way so he's in front of me now "So I came over here so I can ask you if you wanted to come over. Me and Ethan are throwing a I guess you could say back to school party Friday after school and I was wondering if you wanted to come."

"I kinda have volleyball tryouts tomorrow after school." I bite my bottom lip

"No problem just come right after." He shrugged and the side of his mouth curved into a smile

"Well I guess I'll be there." I smiled back at him

Makayla popped a very loud bubble with her gum which caused Grayson and I attention to her

"Makayla." He stood up straight and ran his tongue in the inside of cheek looking at her

"Grayson." She sightly snapped back

"Your invited too if you want." He gave her a evilish looking smirk

"Should I be honored?" She said with a petty attitude

Grayson scoffs and sightly rolled his eyes "See you around." He told us before leaving

Makayla automatically scoffed and rolled her eyes putting her whole entire face in both of her palms "He such an asshole." She groaned lifting her face back up

She looked at her "You need to swear to me that you will not get close to Grayson, under any circumstances."

Ethan, Grayson, and the rest of them all walked past our table and sat down at the table behind us

I didn't answer because it wasn't Grayson that was on my mind. It was still Ethan

7th period bell finally rung which meant school was finally over. I walked from my last class to my locker where I stuff all of my books and stuff beside math, cause sadly I have math homework, again

Grabbing my keys out of my bag I closed the locker shut and walked out of the school to my car to put my bag away and get my volleyball bag

I pushed the button on the car remote to unlock the car and I opened the passenger seat and put my bag away and grabbed my volleyball bag

Shutting the door and locking it I turn myself around to make eye contact with Cora who was just getting out of her car right next to me

She closed her eyes for a quick second like she was embarrassed or she didn't want to see

"Hey Cora." I waved at her walking straight leaving the parking lot

She placed a smile on her face too and walked out of the parking lot "Hey Alicia."

"Long time no see huh." I joked with a chuckle looking at the ground

"Yep." She "faked" smiled at me swigging which I'm pretty is her volleyball bag over her shoulder

"So I heard your doing volleyball, is this your first time." I asked keeping the conversation

"I've been doing it since freshman year." She have my a stink face with a sassy attitude

I just blinked at her and she bites down on her lip looking at her shoes "My apologizes, that was rude and very unnecessary." She sightly chuckled calming down the mood

She looked back up at me "Yes I've been doing since I started high school and I was the co-captain last year." She addressed this time in a smoothing calmer voice

"Oh well um, I guess I'll see you in there." I nodded at her and walked inside of the school walking inside a bathroom to change

I never knew Cora became so bitchy

Going into the bathroom I quickly changed out of my school clothes and slipped on my spandex shorts, a shirt, my knee pads, and my volleyball shoes

I put everything back into my bag and grabbed my phone walking out of the bathroom to get bumped into someone

"Sorry-" I look infront of me to realize that I accidentally bumped into Ethan

Why am I randomly bumping into everyone today

"Oh Ethan, sorry I didn't see you there." I replaced the strap from my bag back on my shoulder

"No I'm sorry." He apologized then look at my outfit then back back at me "Your still playing volleyball?"

"Yep, hopefully I'm still good I'll make the team here." I shrugged, I don't know why I said that though I've been playing since I was in 7th grade, hopefully I would make the team with all that experience

"I know you will if you still got the moves from the last time I saw you." He told me a with a smirk on his face

"That was middle school, and I was so bad it was cringy." I cringe at the thought of me in middle school

A smile appeared on his face while he laughed looking at the ground then back at me "I gotta head to football practice, but it was nice talking to you again." He gave me a warm smile before turning around and walking

I smiled to myself as I turned around to walk away also

"Wait Alicia-" I heard Ethan call my name out again

I turned around back to him "Yes?"

"Me and Grayson are throwing a pool party on Friday after school, it'll be cool if you could make it." He suggested

"Your brother already invited me also, I'll be there." I told him with nod

He nodded back at me looking a little shock that Grayson asked me first "Well I'll see you there." He said before turning around and walking away again

I felt my mouth curved into a smile I started walking to the gym. I walk inside the gymnasium and placed my bad down grabbing a hair tie to put my hair in a high ponytail

As I was tying my hair up Cora walked through the door and she sightly rolled her eyes at me before walking past me

She acting like she didn't know I was trying out for volleyball

I ignored her as I just focused on why I'm here. To make the volleyball team

Two adults; a male and a female walked into the gym. I'm pretty sure they were the coaches

"Ok everyone let's start with two lap across the gym." The male called out as the female blowed her whistle

"Wow a perfect way to start." I said sarcastically to myself before I started running

"Um Alicia you're taking quite a while to get change now." Makayla said from the other side of the bathroom door

"I'm almost done." I said slipping my bikini bottom on along with a shirt and rip denim shorts as a cover up

I opened up the door of the bathroom and walked straight into my room where Makayla was sitting on my bed looking down at her phone

She rose her head up from her phone and looked at me "I'm already regretting going to the twins party with you."

"No don't, I really don't wanna go by myself and stuff. Don't worry you'll be fine." I said getting a pair of flip-flops from my closet and slipping them on

"You know Brooke is gonna be at the party right." She stated gathering her hair putting in a messy bun

"Yes, and I'm unbothered by her so she can try to annoy me all she wants but I won't care." I shrugged tugging a piece of hair behind my ear

"Oh did Finn invite you to his party next week." She asked changing the subject

I scoff "Yeah and his dumbass needs to realize I'm not going."

"Thank you!" She yelled in agreement "Like did he not forget that he use to bully us so much in middle school cause we were ugly and he can't think that we're gonna go at him just like that."

"Apparently now that we look good we're finally good enough for everyone." I rolled my eyes taking my phone out of charge from my night stand

Makayla gets up from my bed "You know we really don't have to go to this party."

"It'll be fine. Let's go." I grabbed her wrist heading out my room and out my house to Grayson and Ethan house

"How is that even though they move you guys are still neighbor?" Makayla asked referring to Grayson and Ethan and how I could still just walk to get to their house

I shrugged "I moved back into the same house so I can't say anything."

We walked to the front of their door and I rang the doorbell

"Great now I gotta see Grayson face again, yay." She cheered sarcastically

"Oh yeah meaning to ask, did you and Grayson have beef or something while I was gone or something cause it seems like you can't stand him." I turned around to her asking her

Before she could say anything the door opened and I turned around to meet Grayson

"Hey, you actually came." His mouth curved into a smile

Makayla rolled her eyes and walked past me and Grayson basically letting herself in the house

Grayson licked the inside of his cheek looking at her then back at me "She's very impatient I guess." He scowled opening the door wider letting me in

I walked inside seeing beer packages, lays chips, soda, and vodka all over their kitchen counter

"Wow I see you guys know how to throw a party." I nodded slipping my phone inside my pocket

"I plan everything, Ethan did nothing." He says "Let's go out." He said walking to the backyard with the pool and where everyone was dancing to the blasting music and drinking

I spotted Makayla right away and I walked straight to her kinda leaving Grayson unnoticed

"There you are." I said standing next to her

She grabbed a chip from the bowl that was on a table next to a other snacks "At least they have good chips." She took a bite out of one

"You know this may actually be fun if you enjoy it." I suggested placing my phone down on a pool chair next to us

"Or I'll just eat all the chips." She said as I slipped off my flip-flips

As I was just about to remove my cover up before someone pushed me into the pool along with them

I swam to the surface spitting the water out of my mouth and removing my damp hair out of my eyes "What the fuck- Grayson?" I saw him floating next to me laughing

"Wow really funny." I playfully rolled my eyes "You know you and your brother have a thing for pushing me into your pool."

"My bad." He smirked shrugging his shoulder rubbing his hands through his wet hair

"You fucking bitch!!" I heard a voice yell and everyone became quiet and you could only hear the music as Brooke came my way soaking wet

Oops. The big splash must have got on her

"You fucking splash me." She growled at me causing everyone attention on us

"My bad. It's not that serious you won't melt." I smirked at her floating in the water

"Who the hell even invited you to this party to ruin?" She gave me a death stare

"Brooke I did cause it's my party." Grayson stepped in

Also your boyfriend, Ethan

"Also you know it's a pool party princess, you were probably gonna get wet anyways." I sassed at her getting out of pool with my cover up dripping wet

"Better watch that fucking mouth of yours Wallace, cause I could end you in one second." She crosses her arms over her chest threatening me

"Go ahead then." I smirked at her before walking past but she aggressively grabbed my wrist turning me around

Cora rushed in and placed a hand on Brooke shoulder "Just let it go." She told her

She basically threw my wrist while she let go of it "This isn't over Wallace." She snapped before her and Brooke walked away

Right after everyone started getting back to their business and I walked over to Makayla over at the snack table and my breathing was very uneasy

"I swear I feel like slapping the shit out of her." I exhaled sharply running my hand through my hair furiously

"Doesn't everyone." Makayla rolled her eyes placing her phone down next to mines

"But remember we are unbothered by this and we're going to enjoy the rest of the party without her messing it up for us." She said as she removed her top cover up

Grayson was getting out of the pool the same time she was removing her shirt and I swear I saw him took a glance and licked his bottom lip before walking away

Those two are very weird..

"Ok it's not fair how now I can't get drunk because you already got your ass drunk." Makayla says as my semi drunk ass sat on the pool chair were our stuff was next to

"Girl I'm barely drunk, I had like two beers and that's it. Also don't forget my house is like two house away so go get your ass drunk too." I giggled laying back on the chair

She rolled her eyes at me "I'm gonna go get a Dr. pepper. Don't drink anymore." She warned me

I gave her two thumbs up before she walked away. I felt my eyes starting to drop a little before a big figure hovered over me. I looked up to see Grayson

"Hey can you help me get some chips from inside?" He asked me reaching out his hand for me

"Sure why not." I took his hand as he helped me up. Before we started walking inside I turned around and notice that the snacks table was full of chips

Once we got inside the house we walked into the kitchen and I let go of his hand putting my hands on my hip "Ok I know I'm not too drunk to realize that there's plenty of chips on the table."

"Your right." He starts walking closer in front of me "I didn't bring you here to get more chips." He wraps his hands around my bare waist as he smirked at me

I smirked "Well good thing." I said before grabbing his face and placing my lips on his

I don't know if it was the alcohol or something but I wasn't stopping

Our lips were in sync as he pushed me against the counter placing me on top not breaking the kiss

My teeth bit onto his bottom lip pulling it "Fuck." He moaned while looking from my eyes then back down to my mouth

He leaned towards my neck but I placed my hand on my chest stopping "I can't come home with a hickey you know." I rose an eyebrow at him

He licked his bottom lip nodding "We should save all this for a special day." He runs his hand up and down the side of my thigh

I jump off the counter "Well see." I smirked at him before turning around and walking back out

My lips felt so sore from the make out session but something in me wasn't regretting. I actually kinda enjoy it

But then again it could be the alcohol taking over me

I slide the door open to the backyard stepping out

Only taking like one step out Ethan came walking towards "Hey Alicia, you made."

Oh gosh seeing Ethan just made me regret what just happened, like two seconds ago

My mouth was lost of words what to say "Yeah.." Was the only thing that could slip out of my mouth

He looked at me a little confused and I closed my eyes looking down for a second embarrassed.

Way to go Alicia.

"What were you inside the kitchen for?" He asked pretty sure trying to change the subject

Oh you know, just the usually making out with your twin brother kinda thing

"Uh the bathroom. Yeah I was using the bathroom." My voice went a little squeaky but I covered with off with a cough

He licks his bottom lip and nods "Ok..." He chuckles a little "Nice seeing you Alicia." He said before walking past me heading inside

I face palm myself and shook my head. What the fuck was that

Remember like two minutes ago I was not regretting kissing Grayson. Well know I do
