Epilogue

Elena's POV

Right now I'm standing in front of the entire school, giving my grand speech to end off my graduation from high school. It's insane how much has gone on and I'm nervous to say the things I want. But I'm excited because hopefully the next generation learns from our experiences.

"There has never been a bigger change than letting go all of your doubts and fears. But I can tell you from experience that a lot has happened, some memories I'll cherish forever and others I want to forget about and never relive them. But the hardest of workers ultimately have everyone beat."

"I've had some successful people in my life say I couldn't do something but I proved them wrong as I am standing here today in front of you all ready to take a leap of faith into adulthood."

"Where I'll question every word I say and every move I make but I know I've surrounded myself with good people who know me better than I know myself."

"There's always a question you've gotta ask yourself so you're able to prepare for what comes next it's always been, "Will I succumb to this and let it take over my entire day? Or Will I rise to the challenge and stare at it in the eye, plant myself like a tree and say no you move?"

"I used to always dislike changes but I realize it's not the changes around me it's just me being stubborn and refusing to accept those changes. And anyone who knows me comes up here and they'll tell you almost everything."

"And I'm happy to say that being part of my generation and going out into the real world and fighting battles that will hopefully make the world a better place for the next generation is something I'm going to work really hard at."

"To my parents, I love you and thank you for teaching me everything I know now and everything you'll still be teaching. To my wonderful friends, thank you for pushing me and believing in me when everyone else said I was crazy."

"My name is Elena Creed and I am a member of the graduating class of 2020." After a breakout of applause that erupted in the auditorium after giving my speech and getting my diploma I went out to where my friends and boyfriend were.

Henry and I hugged, "Great speech love." He said kissing the side of my forehead.

"Thank you Henry also we're officially adults now going off to college!"

Willow laughed "Yup UCLA here I come!"

"NYU is calling my name." said Cole.

"And mine." said Stan.

"See you at Kent state Simon?" Christina asked.

They hugged, "Of course Chris."

"What about you two?" Cole asked Henry and me.

"We're going to Harvard." Henry replied.

After we all left our school we went back to my place and had a movie marathon. I can't believe I'm going to Harvard in two weeks. It's insane but Henry and I will be together.

We're ready to face the world and I don't think it's the last the world will see of us yet. Change is a strange thing isn't it?

It's crazy how I'm slowly getting around to liking change, no one would peg me of liking change with how much has happened over the years.

Wow guys this is the last ever chapter of Change I really hope you all enjoyed it. I know some chapters were short but I'm glad I got to write this original. I hope you all could relate to some of these characters because I really wanted their personalities to shine through and hopefully I did that. Did you guys enjoy this book? What did you think?
