Simon's POV

The plan is set and now it's time for it to be put into motion. I swear if El and Henry don't confess their feelings to each other someone's gonna have to catch these hands, but now Stan and I have to help Henry get ready we told him we had to pick up Willow and Christina right after we got him ready which obviously is a lie.

But he bought it anyway, and I'm kind of excited to hear about their date if all goes well. If it does then we're geniuses, if not then we're idiots. I'd like to be a genius and set up two of my best friends that have been eyeing each other not so subtly.

After Stan and I showed up to Henry's house we got him ready and got the go ahead from Chris and Willow to send Henry to pick up Elena we all then left and hopefully the rest was taken care of. I can't wait to see how it goes.

Elena's POV

Willow and Christina got me ready for our outing tonight. Chris and Willow had to leave so they could meet up with Simon and Stan so they told me Henry was picking me up so I was waiting not very long though because a few minutes after the girls left my doorbell rang I got to the door and opened it.

There stood Henry looking very snazzy and dapper he looked shocked to say the least. "You look pretty." He said.

"Thank you, and you look handsome." I thanked.

He held out his arm and I gladly took it then we were off we got to the restaurant and it was beautiful the hostess greeted us and took us up to our table we were supposed to share with our friends but they weren't there. So we decided to start texting them.

I turned to Henry who had the same expression on his face as I did the "What the heck" expression as we like to call it but it was awkward I don't know why usually we could talk for hours but right now it's eerie so I tried making conversation.

"So do you have any art projects you're working on?" I asked.

"Yeah! I'm making a Spider-Man sculpture as Stan's birthday present." He replied.

"That's cool I think he'll like it the present I'm getting for him is way different."

"What'd you get for him?"

"I decided to sing a song for him at his party." I said.

"He'll love that." He said.

After the awkward-ness was gone we got into the flow of talking and we ate some good food and then night was almost over we walked around looking at the stars.

After that we arrived back at my house we had almost went on a date wait holy crap did we go on a date? We totally went on a date.

Our friends set us up what the heck that's why Simon left me on read! Well I can't complain though they're probably wanting us to kiss or start dating. I don't know how to tell Henry I like him though.

We stopped at my door and stood there talking, "I had a great time with you tonight." I said.

"I- I had a great time too El." He replied.

We stood there staring into each other's eyes and for some reason we both were leaning in but then my front door swung open which scared us and there stood Tony we jumped back at the sudden noise from the door and looked at him and he smiled.

I looked back at Henry who was as red as a beet. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." I said.

"Yeah totally g-goodnight Elena."

I smiled shyly, "Goodnight Henry." And after that I went inside going upstairs to my room smashing my head onto my pillow screaming into it I almost kissed my crush and my idiot brother had to ruin it!
