Stan's POV

Tonight was supposed to be my date with Cole and I'm so excited! He'll be here in a few hours. But we had to change around some plans because Hugo is sick so Cole said we could have our date here instead of leaving my brother by himself.

I'm trying to get my homework done which is difficult considering this subject is the one I absolutely despise.

Who thought writing an essay about what you want to do in life when you've got no freaking clue about what you want was a good idea?

Willow would blame the government because that's her excuse for failing an English quiz. Don't think that's plausible. "Stan?" A voice said.

I looked up from my paper to my sick little brother standing in my doorway, "What's up bubba?"

"What are you doing?" He asked.

I set my laptop aside as he climbed into my bed cuddling up next to me. "I was writing an essay. Do you need anything?"

"Cuddles is what I need." He said.

"Want and need are two completely different things bubba." I teased him while kissing his temple. (Hugo is so pure. 🥺)

He smiled, "Oh haha Stan."

"Cole will be here soon. Wanna set up a movie while I make some food?" I asked.

He grinned, "Yay Cole's coming over!"

He quickly walked downstairs as I got up going to the kitchen making some soup for Hugo and some popcorn when the doorbell rang.

Which meant Cole had just arrived. Hugo said he'd get it and so he did and I walked to the living room sitting down on the couch next to Cole and Hugo laying his head down in my lap.

Then the doorbell rang so I got up and opened the door seeing Simon standing outside. "Hey Simon." I greeted.

"Hey Stan I've got a question about that cooking recipe you sent me. Is this a bad time?" He asked.

"Kind of Hugo, Cole and me are watching a movie. Hugo is sick." I said.

"Aww I'm sorry about that I'll come over another time then tell Hugo I said get well soon." He said.

"Alright I will." I said closing the door and sitting back down on the couch. "Why was Simon here Stan?" Cole asked.

"He was gonna ask me a question about a recipe I gave him and he said he'd text me later." I explained.

"Alright also mark this day down in history Stan, we must preserve the innocence of Hugo, who didn't hear a word of what that character just said." Cole said.

"Bold of you to assume that I haven't declared Coley my OTP, it's endgame change my mind. I dare you."

"I don't think we will." Cole said.

We all laughed and continued watching the movie and soon all of us fell asleep cuddling up together. Even though my brother is sick I'd say this date went well.
