A/N Sorry it took me so long to update! I've been so busy with school and stuff! Also, I just found out that I have a really high chance of getting cancer... so that's great... Anyway, just a small chapter for you!

Annabeth Pov

I woke up on a swinging bench outside, leaning on Percy's chest.

"Are you okay?" Percy asks. I nod my head, a complete lie, and he wipes a tear-off of my red face and says, "Wanna tell me what that dream was about, then?"

My head goes side to side faster vigorously, but he understands. We walk back inside a few minutes later, waiting for the redness in my face to fade. 

When we get back, the rest of my friends tell us that some people need to leave. Apparently, Marella, Fitz, Linh, and Wylie needed to go back to the lost cities. Hazel, Frank, Reyna, and Calypso were going to join them because they think that they might find something. Leo wasn't too thrilled about leaving Calypso with them, but Fitz promised him she'd be fine.

As I bring the garbage out that night, a hand goes over my mouth and the world goes dark.

I wake up in a cell, with someone standing in front of me. They start torturing me, asking weird questions, so I yell, "Please, don't do this! I know who you are Gaea!! You can't hide from me! I'll put you to sleep again! But this time for life!" 

That's all I get out before the darkness takes over again.

When I woke up, a guy was in front of me holding a syringe. The needle had a strange-looking green liquid, known as Cybrin, a deadly substance for demigods. The liquid would knock me out for days, weeks even, and if I didn't get treated in a month, I would die.

As the man put the tip to my arm, I yelled, "Please, don't do this! I know who you are Gaea!! You can't hide from me! I'll put you to sleep again! But this time for life!"

But nothing stopped, except my body.
