1 WEEK LATER

We had decided to stay over at the elves every weekend to make a plan on getting Sophie back, but everyone -especially Keefe- has been sulking ever since Sophie ran away. I guess she was the only thing holding him together because he won't come out of his sticky noted room, eating in isolation when someone brings him some food. He got into a big broom closet, put a bed in, and now uses it as his bedroom because he and the other boys had to share before. Me, however, I have been trying to make a plan. Percy knows what's going on in my head at all times, but I think that he suspects my silence is me being sad about Sophie. Of course, I'm devastated like everyone else, but the easiest way to solve a problem is to actually try.

That night, we ate something that looked like purple goo, I didn't want to eat it but all the elves were munching on it happily -well, as happy as they can be- so I decided to give it a try. As soon as it hit my mouth, the taste of Sally's blue cookies filled my mouth and my face twisted into a delighted face. The other demigods had the same expression on their faces as they hesitantly put a spoonful in their mouths.

Percy tried to make small talk, speaking about school and how the assignments were too boring. No one really wanted to talk so he just ended his sentence and ate his food.

NIGHTMARE

"Hello Annabeth Chase, it's been a long time." A voice said when I fell asleep. It sounded a lot like Gaea, but she was dead. "Yes child, I was dead. Until Gethen came and made me whole again." Gaea told me.

"Why are you in my dreams? I thought I wouldn't get any flashback tonight." I questioned, trying to sound brave.

"This isn't a nightmare child, it's a warning." She laughed evilly. "Sophie is close to the end, but not quite there yet. You are next, it will break Percy and Keefe is already lost in the madness of his head." She explained.

I nodded, suddenly feeling scared. "What about after me? Then who?"

She smirked. "Will. Nico needs to be sad and mad in order for him to shadow travel as soon as they find out where you are. Then he'll be too weak to fight us when we kill him. If he dies, Percy will finally lose it and come after us." She quickly added, "And if you tell anyone, Percy's sister dies, along with the person you told."

Percy POV
I felt Annabeth's heart rate quicken and she started to shake. It was probably a nightmare of Tartarus. I recovered from my racing thoughts and started to collect myself before-

Annabeth screamed and woke everybody up. I tried shaking her awake, yelling her name. Piper heard my struggle, got out of where she and Jason were cuddled up, and walked over to me.

"Okay stupid, let me try." She announced, taking a breath before she charm spoke "Anna, Annie, Annabeth, wake up."

Wise-Girl shot up, opening her tear-stained eyes, only to start balling again and hide into my chest. I held her and rocked her, whispering soothing things in her ear. I picked her up bridal style and carried her out of the room, placing her on the cushioned swing outside. I wrapped my arms around her and waited for her to wake up.

Sorry, it took so long for this chapter! I knew what I wanted to happen but had no words for it, you know? Trying to get ready for the school year and being in this tv series, I've been a little busy. Btw can you guys comment on how you feel about this book? I really want to know! Anyway, see ya!
