Moonlight dancing on fading snow
Winter's last wish goodbye
and all the days we used to know
still there melting below the eye

We built our dreams;
snowy, drifting
on nights like this
in starlight shifting

All we held;
frozen beauty
from skies fell

all these places we no longer see
