Helps my artist heart explore
the slope to seas that sprawl
and the beauty there over all

So I dip my fountain penchant
into flowing mediums of sound
waiting quietly expectant
as these muses gather round

Distill the sugar down and pour
Soak this sponge cake some more
and explore the sweet imbibing beat
until we feel the open street

Ink like honey dew drip do
until this love is something new
Until the passion creates its song
until we've traveled all night long

There to lie in shades beneath
where we were meant to hold these
better libations internal and austere
until they finally pass from here
