The guys searched her everywhere without finding her, and Tae decided to look at their house. He took out the phone and sent a message in the group chat.

Taehyung: someone found her?

Hobi: I didn't.

Suga: me neither.

Jin: ah-ah nothing here.

RM: me too. Nothing.

Jungkook: she can't disappear like this.

Jimin: guys stay focused, we need to find her.

Taehyung: I go take a look at home.

Tae put away his phone and headed home. Once he arrived, he found her barefoot in front of their door which was rocking back and forth. He approached her.

Emma didn't recognize him at first and retreated when he got closer. Her eyes were unfocused. She was muttering something in Italian, but he caught a few words, she was saying something about her ex, Jimin, and Italy. He didn't understand the rest. He got near her again cautious with his hands up. «Emma, it's me Tae, it's all right now you're safe, look.»

She looked up with frightened eyes, glancing behind him and down again. «Tae? No, no you're in danger, everyone is. You don't have to find me. You need to be safe.» She looked up to him. Taking its collar she added, «You can't tell where I am. Shhhh.»

«Emma, look at me, please. You're safe here, no one can harm you here, look at me please,» he said with a cracked voice.

«Tae?»

«Yes, I'm Tae.»

«TaeTae, my friend?» cupping his face.

«Yes, your friend TaeTae.» Squeezing her hand.

When she looked at him again cried his name, «Tae, Tae he's back. I'm not safe anymore, I didn't know where to go.» She said crying.

«Ok, shhh, don't cry. You're safe here. Good girl, you did the right thing. Now we need to call the others they searching anywhere for you.» He took out his phone and sent a message on the group chat.

Taehyung: Jiminie, I found her. She's here at our apartment.

Jimin: Is she alright? Was the only thing that mattered to him.

Suga: thank God, I'll come back.

Hobi: are you sure she is not hurt?

Taehyung: Sincerely I don't know; I will call the doctor as soon as I can. I'll call Mimi she needs a change of clothes and then the doc.

Jin: got it.

RM: I'll come back then.

Jungkook: I'm calling the girls, they're still searching.

Suga: Why did call them, they'll worry too much for their own good, Aish.

Jungkook: I thought the more were searching faster we would find her. Did I do wrong?

RM: no, you did the right thing.

He closed the chat and called Mimi. «Hey, it's me Tae, I found Emma she's at our home. Can you please bring a change of clothes and a pair of shoes?»

«I'll come right away. Is she okay?»

«I don't think so.»

He looked at her again she was biting her nails and her eyes were darting erratically from side to side. As soon as he took her in his arms she started to scream. «No-no-no, let me go, you can't take me in, he will find me and you will be in danger.»

One of their neighborhoods opened the door, «Taehyung-ssi is everything alright?»

«Yes, sorry, she's Jimin's girlfriend, she's not feeling well, I'll call the doctor right away, don't worry.»

«Hmmm, ok. If you need help let me know,» he said and closed the door.

Once they were inside, she jumped off him and ran into the corner of the living room, crouching down hiding herself behind a curtain, and taking her hands over her belly defensively.

He looked at her strange behavior without understanding. If someone looks at this, they will surely think I'm the bad of the story. That jerk really did a foul job here. He thought slamming his fist on the wall. He saw her jump and make herself even little against the wall.

«Sorry, I didn't want to scare you,» Tae said in a whisper. Look how scared she is. He thought while sitting on the couch. He took out his phone and called the doctor. After fifteen minutes the doorbell rang, he got up and she shrunk again. He closed his fist angrily and got at the door.

It was the dog sitter that brought Tanie home. He thanked him for closing the door. Again, in the living room, he let the dog free, Tanie ran to Emma to be cuddled, she looked at the dog, and her eyes widened.

«Tanie! Come here you little punk.» She cuddled him and looked at Tae, «Why do you have Tae's dog? Did you kidnap him?»

«I...no I didn't kidnap him.» The doorbell rang again and he got to the door, it was the doctor. «Good evening doctor,»

«What's wrong Taehyung? You're not feeling well?»

«It's not for me,» he told the man «It's for a friend, she is really distressed, she doesn't recognize me.»

«Where is she?»

«In the living room, this way please.»

When they got in the room she looked up and hissed at them, hiding her belly. The doctor was looking at her every move and approached her cautiously and said, «Hi, I'm Doctor In, I'm the guy's doctor. What's your name?»

She retreated and looked at him, without saying a word. Tae answered for her. «Her name is Emma Jimin's girlfriend.»

The doctor without looking away from her said, «Hi Emma, I won't harm you, don't worry. Can I examine you? I want to make sure you're not injured anywhere.» Tending a hand, he took himself nearer.

She looked at the hand and then his face, he was smiling and she started to relax a bit. «Are you a doctor? For real?» He nodded, «He took me in and kidnapped this dog. This is Tae's dog.» From the other side of the room, Tae wasn't moving an inch to not scare her. After a little hesitation, she took his hand and the doctor started to look at her. Fortunately, there weren't major injuries, just a few scratches on her feet.

He treated them and afterward gave her a shot of sedative, «This is for letting you sleep and regain your mind, don't worry it won't harm your baby» the doctor said the last part in a low voice. As soon as it took action, she fell asleep, then, Tae moved her into Jimin's room and left Tanie with her. When he was back the doctor asked, «What's the reason for her state?»

Tae answered. «I think it 'cause her ex-boyfriend, he isn't a good person...no, that would be too good. He's a bastard, a son of a b...» Tae tried to tell him about her past as calmly as possible but anger took over.

«Ok, Taehyung I think I got it. For now, let her sleep, when she wakes up you'll see the change.»

When the doc got out of the house was still shaking his head in disbelief. Tae returned to sit on the couch when the others came home with Mimi.

«Where is she?» They asked.

«The doc gave her a sedative; she will sleep for a couple of hours. I put her in your room Jimin.»

«What happened, why did she run away from home she told you something?»

«No, at first she recognized me, but then she didn't recognize me anymore. I took her up because her feet were hurt, but as soon as I did she started screaming.» He told the others lowering his head.

Jimin and Mimi got into his room to check. She was sleeping peacefully with Tanie, who looked up when they opened the door. Mimi left the change of clothes for her on the bed. And got out. Once in the living room, Tae looked at her and said, «I think it's time you tell the others all the story. They have the right to know the truth.»
