Lila felt so free as she walked up to the large house in front of her.

Her small group of four had finally made it to Yeosang's brother's house for Christmas and it would be an understatement if she said she wasn't impressed.

The place was more of a mansion than a house.

Wooyoung and Yeosang ran to where a man was waiting for them on the porch and tackled him to the ground. All three of them rolled on the ground, laughing with pure joy as they were reunited.

But it turned out that their host had to leave on a last minute trip for business. Yeosang had been pretty upset about it, but they were given the house to stay in for as long as they wanted to and he promised he would be back as soon as possible.

Lila looked around nervously. There were so many things in here that she could damage or destroy. Then her jaw dropped when a maid walked by.

"Sangie... What does your brother do?" She asked, moving closer to Wooyoung.

"Started his own shipping business. I know, it takes some getting used to. Come on, I'll show you to your room." Yeosang hurried to the stairs and ran up them. This was the most animated that Lila had ever seen him outside of acting. It was the cutest thing seeing him hop in place while he waited for everyone to catch up.

"You need to calm down." San teased. Yeosang just ran down the stairs partway and grabbed his hand, pulling him up the rest of the stairs and down the hall.

"I haven't seen him like this in years." Wooyoung chuckled, pulling Lila in a different direction. "Don't worry, I already know where our room is."

Lila froze in the doorway, her mouth once again opening. "This... Is a bedroom?"

There was indeed a large king size bed taking up a portion of the room, but there was also a fireplace, couches, bookshelves, and even an en suite bathroom.

"Why don't you come see for yourself." Wooyoung came over to her and whispered in her ear. He intertwined their fingers and pulled her to the pulled, falling back onto it so Lila was on top of him.

She immediately closed her eyes and connected there lips. He hummed at the connection and twisted his fingers in her hair to try and pull her closer.

They started to shift so he could sit against the headboard when the door opened. "Okay lovebirds!! It's time for baking!" San called in a sing-song voice. At least he didn't come all the way in the room, but Lila and Wooyoung still let out a deep sigh.

"We will be there in a minute." Wooyoung said, not taking his eyes off Lila as he spoke.

When the door closed, he pulled her in for one more long, loving kiss. Then he smirked and licked the tip of her nose. "I love you."

Lila pressed their foreheads together. "I love you too, goofball. Come on. We better go appease the child among us or we will never hear the end of it.

The kitchen once again made Lila question her sanity. It had two ovens in it, a large refrigerator, and a gigantic island in the middle of it.

Yeosang was already pulling out ingredients and stacking them on the island. A cookbook was propped open on the side and he was muttering to himself and ticking things off on his fingers.

San walked up behind him and tied an apron around his waist, then unfolded it to slip the loop over his neck, kissing his cheek once he was done.

Lila jumped a little when Wooyoung started doing the same with her, but she just smiled as she felt his fingers brush against her skin.

After everything that had happened, she was proud to say he was finally happy and relaxed. She was with her three favorite people in the world, in a beautiful house, ready to celebrate her favorite holiday.

They spent several hours making more cookies than they could ever dream of actually eating, but Yeosang had insisted on it so they could take some to the neighbors. There were a few elderly couples close by that Yeosang used to bring cookies to when he lived with his brother.

The maids came in to offer their help at one point, but Yeosang dismissed them and told them to go home and be with their families. The grateful smiles he received warmed Lila's heart as they hurried from the house.

When they finished the second batch of cookies, San disappeared for a few moments. Christmas music suddenly started blasting from the other room, making the three in the kitchen cringe while San screamed and tried to turn it down.

Yeosang ended up running to help him and got the volume turned down to a manageable level. San returned to the kitchen very red in the face and kept his face buried in Yeosang's back for several minutes.

To lighten the mood, Lila started to sing along with the music. San quickly joined her, singing poorly on purpose, and spun her around in circles.

Soon all four were singing and dancing around the island.

Lila hadn't felt this alive and happy in a long time. She never wanted it to end.

As Christmas got closer, they went to buy a tree and the maids dug out all of the Christmas decorations. They too had bright smiles on their faces at the constant music playing and the joy the four friends brought to the house.

They received calls from their friends, wanting to check up on them and see how things were going.

Lila lost it when Seonghwa mentioned he had a date with Hongjoong, and again when Hongjoong's transfer had been accepted and he would be moving to L.A. after the holidays.

Roger called Wooyoung to ask about the movie audition again. While he was still hesitant, he had been practicing the script at night with Lila. He would have to return home to audition right before Christmas, but he was planning on coming back as soon as it was over.

Wooyoung would also be taking Roger's present to him. They had all pitched in to get him a trip to Fiji so he could get away and relax for a bit. It was timed so he could go before Wooyoung's new movie was due to start filming if he got the part, so the manager could be back in time to help Wooyoung through filming.

Lila was thankful that their room was on a different end of the house than San and Yeosang, because it obvious that both couples had a hard time keeping their hands off each other at night.

San especially would come down to breakfast with a new mark somewhere on his neck or shoulder. Yeosang always had a smug look on his face when he admired them.

Christmas Day came all too quickly, but that didn't stop Lila from being excited.

She woke up before Wooyoung and rolled over so she was laying on top of him. He groaned and let his head fall to the side. "Wooooooo." She whined, poking his face.

He mumbled something unintelligible and covered his eyes with his arm.

"Wooyoungie! Get up!" Lila sat up so she was sitting on his stomach and he groaned again.

"What are you, five?" He mumbled, trying to push her off him.

"Maybe." She bit her lip and started poking his sides. "And because I am, we need to see if Santa came!" Lila adopted a baby tone and swayed her shoulders back and forth.

Wooyoung proved that he was awake and watching her from under his arm because he pressed his lips together to fight a smile.

Taking advantage of his moment of weakness, Lila attacked his sides and started tickling him to help him wake up faster.

His high pitched laugh rang through the room as he grabbed her around her waist and pinned her to the bed to get her to stop. "Alright I'm up." He said, still laughing before moving to connect their lips.

Lila let out a content sound as she pulled his head closer to her and wrapped her other arm around his neck.

Wooyoung placed a hand on her hip, rubbing it gently.

Their tongues clashed as they both tried to deepen the kiss at the same time and Lila found herself clawing at his shirt to try and pull it off.

That's when Wooyoung pulled back and smiled at her. "Later." He whispered, kissing her forehead before slipping off and helping her from the bed.

While she was slightly disappointed, Lila was also excited to get downstairs and celebrate Christmas with her family.

San and Yeosang were already up judging by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen.

As they walked in, Lila smiled when she saw San pinned to the counter, his arms locked around Yeosang's neck.

His head turned and he smiled brightly. "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas Sannie." Lila went over to hug the two boys, then Wooyoung joined them and they stood there until the oven dinged.

"We made cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate." Yeosang said, moving to take them out of the oven. "And I've got a fire started so we can be all nice and toasty.

They served up breakfast and made their way to the living room, then paused.

There were stockings hanging over the fire place and more presents under the tree than there had been before.

Lila turned to Yeosang, giving him a questioning look. "Those weren't there thirty minutes ago..." He said, his mouth open in shock as he took in the room."

"Then..." Wooyoung started to step forward.

"Merry Christmas!!" Several voices called out at once, making the four of them jump and nearly spill their drinks.

Standing by the front door was all of their friends, wearing Santa hats, and waving happily. Roger was with them too, standing off to the side and smiling.

"What are you guys doing here?" San placed a hand on his chest but didn't need to hide the joy he was feeling.

"It didn't feel right being separate today, and Roger seemed to sense our thoughts, so he called all of us and organized being able to come out here." Yunho said, smiling as Mingi wrapped his arms around his waist.

Hongjoong walked forward and pulled Lila into a hug. "Plus I wanted to be here for you today to give you this." He stepped back and handed her a small box.

"What is it?" She asked softly.

"A present from your father." Hongjoong smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I didn't feel right just sending it to you."

Lila felt tears coming to her eyes as she opened the black box. Inside was a charm bracelet that had a dangling angel wing on it.

"He wanted you to know that he would always be by your side, and that he has been your entire life, even if you didn't know it. Even if we hadn't grown close, I would have still sent this to you for him." Hongjoong said, tilting his head a little as he watched her.

With her hands shaking, she held it up to Hongjoong and held out her wrist. She wanted it on right away. The doctor smiled and clasped it before gently stroking the charm. "He's looking out-t for you t-to." Lila, giving him a watery smile before they hugged each other once more.

The rest of the morning was spent opening presents and just enjoying each other's company. The visiting friends had brought the presents that had been shipped to them so they could all open them together.

Lila was happy to see that Seonghwa and Hongjoong were sitting with each other on the couch. Seonghwa's legs were resting in Hongjoong's lap as they both started reading through a cookbook that Jongho had bought his cousin.

Mingi and Yunho were debating over some kind of genre of music, and Jongho was activity throwing his opinions in as well when he could.

San and Yeosang were curled up in one of the oversized recliners. Both eyes were closed, and it was evident that they were just enjoying each other's company.

Roger had stepped outside to start making arrangements for his trip.

And Wooyoung was laying down on a loveseat with Lila nestled into her side.

She still couldn't believe she had found this happiness.

Nate was in jail. So was her mom.

She had been offered her job back when Mr. Evans had called her after seeing the news on the trial. It had been tempting, but Lila declined the offer, wanting to focus on her book. She had never truly been happy at that job anyway, although it did lead her to Wooyoung, so she was thankful for it.

Abigail had reached out to her as well, sobbing into the phone the second Lila had answered. She felt horrible that she had tried to talk Lila into dating Nate and had no idea what his true intentions were. Lila finally managed to get her to calm down enough to tell her that she was forgiven. This of course brought forward a new rush of tears.

The two promised to keep in touch and stay friends and Abby was happy when Lila finally told her about Wooyoung.

The press had released the story of the trial and Wooyoung and Yeosang being present. Wooyoung had then released an official statement saying that he and Lila had been dating for months but had kept their relationship private to keep her out of the tabloids, and he asked that they respect his wishes and keep it that way.

They both knew it wouldn't last forever, but being able to have public dates now was so much nicer than being confined to San's condo.

Yes, they had managed to find their slice of happiness, and while they knew they would most likely face many challenges in the future. They at least had each other, and the family that surrounded them now.

Lila tilted her head back and hummed a little as Wooyoung teased her hair. "I love you." She said. "Thank you for not giving up on me."

He let out a gentle laugh and kissed her forehead. "I should be the one thanking you. If you hadn't been so calm and collected the day we ran into each other on the street, we wouldn't be here right now."

"I wasn't so calm and collected on the inside though." She smiled in response and rested her head against his shoulder. "I don't even know how I managed to do it either. I mean, I had just run into the love of my life, because I was that kind of crazy person. If someone would have told me I would have ended up actually falling in love with you, I would have called them insane. But here we are."

"Here we are. And you're the love of my life, Lila. I'm never letting you go again." He said, pulling her in closer.

"Good. Because you're stuck with me, forever."
