Baekhyun watched aimlessly as Chanyeol passed his suitcase onto his manger who wheeled it out of the dorm.

"All ready to go?" Suho questioned the tallest who paused for a moment in thought.

"I think so" Chanyeol nodded pushing his phone into his pocket. "The flight won't take as long as I thought so I'll be there quicker than expected"

"Save flight hyung" Sehun smiled unable to move now that Lay was putting his hair dye in.

"Tommy boy all ready to go?" Kai chuckled hitting Chanyeol's shoulder playfully on his way into the dorm. The taller nodding slowly in responce turning to look at Baekhyun who was giving the floor his attention.

When the guest list for the Tommy Hilfiger fashion show came out and Baekhyun recognized two names he became quiet and reserved, the puppy of EXO had turned shy, the loud member was silent, all because of Kim Taeyeon.

Chanyeol who had been the supporting friend (who also harboured a major crush on the smaller) helped Baekhyun overcome their breakup/fall out. He had been the bridge between them for some time until Taeyeon cut off all ties with Baekhyun ending their relationship by a fan. To which Baekhyun retaliated by blaming Chanyeol for having interest in her and taking her away.

It was in the past now and Chanyeol gained Baekhyun's trust back (after the smaller realised that girls were complicated and he should believe his friends first), however he couldn't seem to speak as easily knowing that Chanyeol will be seeing her.

So, he kept his mouth clamped shut and Chanyeol felt his heart strings tug at the cold shoulder he was unconsciously receiving.  "Keep in contact with us We want to know when you land and whatever Kay?" Suho announced pulling to two to look at him.

Chanyeol nodded and stepped closer to the door already after saying his final goodbyes. Kyungsoo quickly made his way to Baekhyun, hitting him with this elbow he nudged his head to Chanyeol only to receive a shake to the head in return.

Baekhyun retreated back into his own room while Chanyeol sighed and bid the remaining members goodbye. Kyungsoo's head drooped and Sehun's face scrunched up in anger. "Here we go again"

Everyone looked briefly at Chen who was fighting the urge to yell Horololo, but thought against it knowing how serious the atmosphere had turned.

Lay finished the dye in Sehun's hair which allowed the maknae to stand and head towards his hyungs bedroom. Knocking on it quickly he waited for Baekhyun's permission to enter, yet when he didn't get it he groaned in defeat and returned back to the livingroom.

Minseok was out with his friends that he had before debuting and wouldn't be back till later and Kai had just returned from being with his dogs and niece.

"Once again she's ruining their lives" Sehun groaned sitting down on the couch only to be scolded by Suho to keep his hair away from the cushions, since it was still wet with dye.

"Sehun she's a girl, clearly something happened that made them break up, Baekhyun is still fresh about it by the looks of things so you can't blame him" Suho sighed massaging his temples.

"I'm not blaming him Hyung, it's just that Chanyeol knows how much this is effecting Baekhyun yet he hasn't spoken a word to him, instead he left him that stupid wrapped gift on the kitchen counter"

Baekhyun who had been listening to the conversation from out side the room, furrowed his eyebrows, anger boiling inside him.

"Listen, I'm not pissed off at her and I'm not pissed off at Chanyeol! I'm just upset that he had to leave in the first place, we were having fun during the concert and for it to end so easily and quickly really hurt. I couldn't care less about whatever it is that they are saying and I really don't give a shit about what she's doing. But I know for a fact that lately I don't want him leaving my side, call me selfish all you want but it's the truth"

The members stood shocked watching as their puppy finally made some statement. "I love Chanyeol" he whispered "he means so much to me that i can't even describe how much I miss him right now"

Everyone watched with sad eyes as Baekhyun stomped into the kitchen and retrieved the box waiting for him to pick up. He quickly unwrapped the paper on his journeys back into the livingroom, taking a seat he flung the top of the box off and stared down at the ring before him.

It was silver band that had a single black strip running through it. It was clearly very expensive and Baekhyun fought against the urge to keep it in the box.

"Wow he got you a ring?"

"It's not just any ring" Baekhyun began recalling the memory he had of it "It's the ring I saw in one of the stores we went to when we were in a different country for the concerts. I told him I loved it but I would never buy it because it would be better as a gift, I didn't expect him to get it"

"But it's so expensive" Kyungsoo muttered taking a seat next to Baekhyun on the couch. "I'm pretty sure not even his iron man costume cost that much"

"That ring, costs his car and probably every designer thing Chanyeol owns" Kai blurted looking into the box also.

Baekhyun's eyes filled with tears, something so meaningful to him had made it into his fingers and yet his foolishness made him miss the chance of Chanyeol leaving on a good note.

"God I'm so stupid" he hissed at himself, letting his head topple into his hands.

"Baekhyun relax everything is okay" Suho tried to sooth the latter only to receive an soft decline.

"I can't believe he did this" Kyungsoo breathed looking at the limited edition ring.

"Oh come on" Sehun sighed turning in his seat to look at Kyungsoo properly "remember he told us the story of that time he fell in love with that guy back in middle school and he went out and bought him that really expensive meat that we even now use as a luxury?"

Baekhyun's hands folded ontop of themselves, the box resting on his lap as he leaned more closely to Sehun "What did you just say?"

Kyungsoo immediately jumped out of the way leaving Baekhyun to have a clear view of the man he who realised his mistake pretty quickly.

"Meat" he coughed rubbing his fingers over his upper lip in nerves.

"No" Baekhyun shook his head, his voice getting higher "no, no the um.. the love part?"

"You're on your own now man" Kai chuckled patting the youngest on his back from behind the couch.

Sehun tried to say something but wotdds were failing him, he had just revealed a major secret Chanyeol had been keeping quiet for the past couple years. He was so going to be doomed the moment he got home.

"Oh my God" Baekhyun gasped watching as Sehun stook his arms out shaking his head.

"Oh no no no" He yelled trying to get Baekhyun to forget about it the more he waved his hands.

"Well this just got interesting.." Lay chuckled sitting on the armrest of the armchair Suho was currently occupying.

Sehun retreated his hands back to his temples and rubbed them harshly mumbling no's over and over hoping to wake up from a dream any minute.

"That's good" Kai snickered patting his shoulder "keep rubbing your head that will turn back time"

Baekhyun was frozen in his spot, the ring box on his lap looking up at him. His jaw was dropped and his eyes were hazy.

Chanyeol loved him? All this time?

"Oh my god" he groaned his head fallening into his hands once he realised all the harsh things he had put Chanyeol through, thinking he wanted Taeyeon, when in reality he was going against his own feelings so that Baekhyun would be happy.

A few moments later~

"This is unbelievable" he stated walking around the livingroom making eye contact with each of his members, lichen had left to go meet with Minseok and keep him out of the dorm for a little while longer while everyone else dealt with Sehun's mess up.

"This is really really huge" Lay agreed with a nod if his head. He was right, although he knew Chanyeol loved Baekhyun, the fact that Baekhyun now knew added to the entirety of how huge it was.

"No!" Sehun protested still thinking he would be able to turn back time. "No it's small, it's tiny, it's petit, it's wee"

"Nope his life is never going to be the same again"

"Suho is there a mute button for him?"

"I'm your hyung!"

"I think this is great" Kyungsoo joined bumping his shoulder into Baekhyun's. "I mean it's you and Chanyeol, you've both been through so much together, I mean did you have any idea?"

"No" Baekhyun admitted with a shake to his head, the ring clutched in his fingertips. "Nothing, I mean he did say that when I came to meet you all I was the one but nothing ever happened and so i just got with-"

Turning to look at Kai who had taken refuge on the seat Sehun had been sitting on moments prior Baekhyun jumped next to him and wuestioned him.

"What else did he say, like does he want to go out with me?"

"Well" Kai began ignoring the whimpering maknae already seeing his near end "considering he's been desperately in love with you he probably wouldn't mind going to the arcade or something"

Baekhyun wanted to strangle him for being sarcastic in a moment like this but his mind was feasting on questions. "All this time?"

His members nodded and Baekhyun found confidence to stand and begin heading to the door "Well I need to talk to him"

"He's in China" Sehun blurted followed by Kai who was keen on helping "the country"

"Where I'm from" Lay grinned.

"And the place people think Chen is from" Suho added.

"Wait a minute, his flight doesn't leave for another 45 minutes" Kyungsoo announced already looking at the flight schedule Chanyeol had sent into their groupchat earlier that day.

"What about the time difference?" Sehun questioned watching as Kyungsoo's eyebrows furrowed.

"From here to the airport?!"

"Yes!"

"To hell with this" Baekhyun grabbed his phone and wallet before rushing back into the room only to hear Sehun's voice catch up with him.

"You won't make it! Plus all the fans will be there"

At the mention of the fans Baekhyun wavered, he couldn't take the heat that was to come to EXO if he was to show up at the airport looking for Chanyeol who was leaving for only a day.

"I want to take the chance-"

"We have our gaming tournament tomorrow hyung he'll be home after we get back I promise, you can talk then" Sehun begged holding his hyungs arm tightly.

Baekhyun sighed and closed the door figuring the taller was right.

Tomorrow~

Baekhyun sat up biting on the already short nail of his finger. His leg was shaking in agitation and his heart was hammering against his chest. Chanyeol was scheduled to return awhile ago but their manager called Suho to explain something happened in the airport and Chanyeol needed to cool down because of it.

Finally after a long waiting period, Baekhyun heard the key be inserted into the door before the clumsy giant entered with a sigh.

Upon seeing Chanyeol Baekhyun's heart broke, Chanyeol was in tears and he was shaking terribly. He was shaking slightly due to a rip in his scandal, Baekhyun immediately got up and rushed to hug him, already planning murder on whoever made the soft-hearted Chanyeol cry.

The door was closed, thanks to Baekhyun who made sure to hit off it when his arms went around the taller's torso.

"Who did this?" He whispered once Chanyeol had managed to calm down a bit.

"Our fans, they got too close in the airport, they stepped on my slipper and it ripped. They really need to stop coming so close to us, the airport isn't for us only it's for family welcoming family members too"

Baekhyun nodded already understanding why the taller was crying. Chanyeol had gotten angry and now that he had returned home he was able to let out the emotions if crying. It was a normal thing to do and Baekhyun was happy that he was able to do it.

After a couple of minutes Chanyeol released himself from their embrace, smiling down at the smaller he issued his hello.

"Hey" Baekhyun grinned up at him slightly blushing.

"Chanyeol you're back! Just in time!" Minseok grinned coming into the livingroom followed by every one else. Something was hidden behind his back yet the boys weren't able to see it.

"Come come gather around the couchs" he stated pointing around, Chen standing next to him an evil smirk on his face.

Chanyeol was given permission to go into his bedroom to change and relax while Minseok set up the DVD player.

Baekhyun got comfortable next to Kyungsoo a cushion read it against his chest.

"What's this about?" He questioned.

"You'll see"

Chanyeol came out and stood behind the couch Baekhyun had occupied, there wasn't any room left and he didn't want to sit on the floor.

The DVD played and Baekhyun's eyes widened noticing his face on the screen. He had been looking down at his phone see it that Taeyeon had cancelled their date.

It was an expensive one and he was the one paying for it. He was sitting on the couch slightly crying into Kyungsoo's hold. Minseok was the one filming.

The scene changed and it turned to Sehun and Kai who were watching the two of them sorrowfully.

"We don't have to watch this" Chanyeol immedaitly explained only to be shushed by Baekhyun.

"I'm not watching this" he countered getting up and going into the kitchen for a drink. He was still visible to every one else even though they were watching the video.

Sehun ad Kai had had enough of the crying and conversed with Minseok briefly before going down the hall leading to the bedrooms.

They opened a door Baekhyun knew too well as was greeted with Chanyeol, he was in his glasses with headphones on his head working on the computer to show his music.

"Oh hey guys?"

"Baekhyun's crying"

Immedaitly Chanyeol looked worried he raised a brow and was greeted back by nodding and a sad smile.

"What happened now?"

"Taeyeon ditching their date"

Baekhyun noticed that the muscles in Chanyeol's chest contracted getting bigger by the deep breath he took. Glancing into the kitchen he saw Chanyeol leaning up against the counter the tip of his ears red.

"Is he okay?" His deep voice filled the room from the speaker making Baekhyun them to look back at the screen.

"Why don't you bring him out hyung? He needs to be happy again, you know he'll have fun if you bring him out" Sehun had offered punching his shoulder gently.

"You know I can't do that, he doesn't like me in that way"

"Then don't tell him it's a date just tell him that you're bringing him out for some dinner"

Chanyeol's eyes flickered from his computer to his members before nodding slowly "Okay let me get changed"

"Please let me help pick out the outfit" Kai begged already practically kicking Minseok and Sehun out of the room.

The duo started talking outside the room, the video continuing to play even though no faces were being filmed. Eventually the door opened and standing in the doorway was Kai with a smirk on his face.

"I am still proud of that outfit" he exclaimed from the seat across from Baekhyun, yet the latter paid him no attention, too engrossed in the video.

"Presenting Park Chanyeol's Baekhyun's soon to be knight in shining armour" he grinned, his arms out to the side. Chanyeol stepped into the shot and Baekhyun's eyes widened.

He looked great, his legs was covered in black pants with shoes that were bright white, his torso was covered in a grey long sleeve shirt that fit his toned body nicely.

"Do I look okay?" Chanyeol wondered moving his body to the right then to the left so he could get a good look at himself.

"You look great hyung Baekhyun is a really lucky guy" Sehun praised, every one turned to the camera and Minseok's voice finally came through. "You look amazing Chanyeol,  you two will have a fantastic night I'm sure"

Gaining confidence that he never usually had on this topic, Chanyeol took a breath and began his journey through the dorm in search of the smaller. Yet when he came into the hallway leading to the livingroom he overheard Baekhyun talking on the phone.

Minseok managed to catch the conversation and something within Baekhyun's heart broke hearing his voice through the speakers.

"Yeah of course I'll come meet you, no babe I'm just glad that we get to spend time together that's all, yeah I'll leave right now..  yes I'm already out the door"

The bang of the door sounded and the camera turned back to Chanyeol who was frozen in his steps. Slowly a small sad smile developed on his lips. "Guess it wasn't meant to be.."

The television screen blacked for a moment before the shaking video camera was turned back on again.

"Taeyeon what do you want me to do about it?"

"I want you to stay the hell away from Baekhyun you homo, you're trying to steal him away from me you're so pathetic not even Baekhyun is that bad"

"Don't you dare say that" Chanyeol warned hid eyes blazing "Baekhyun is not pathetic in any way, shape or form you've been messing up his life the moment the company told you two yo het together. You knew he had a crush on you and you used that to your advantage"

Taeyeon rolled her eyes clearly becoming bored taking to the taller, a yawn escaping her lips. "He was fat, lazy and ugly"

"He was healthy, energetic and lovable. Stuff you changed. You made him get so skinny. You made him hate himself, you made him change the way he acted around people because you called him annoying, Baekhyun is special he deserves the world which clearly you can't give"

"Oh and you can? You're a guy Chanyeol incase you don't remember I put you guys on the map. I'm the one that agreed to the whole agreement in the first place-"

"And who did the fans cherish more huh? Baekhyun or you? Who did they bombard with hate huh? You. They knew you weren't good enough for him. No one on this world is"

Taeyeon stayed silent as Chanyeol continued tearing her apart bit by bit protecting Baekhyun with all he had. When he couldn't think of anything else to say he brushed past her.

Finally the video finished and the group were left silent. Baekhyun's jaw was dropped slightly and his eyes were filling up slowly.

Chanyeol had made his way quietly to the front door, hoping to escape out of it he stopped once Kyungsoo started speaking.

"I can't believe you did that.." his voice was small but they could notice the serenity laced within it.

"Yeah well.." he began buy couldn't finish. His head dripping down so he wouldn't look at his members any longer. Baekhyun pushed the pillow away and stood up, his hands pushing Kyungsoo's away who was trying to halt him in his steps.

Upon reaching the taller Baekhyun ran his hands up his chest forcing Chanyeol to lift his head ever so slightly in order to see him, and when he did Baekhyun leaned forward and pressed their lips together.

Everything within Chanyeol died at that very moment while everything in Baekhyun opened up. His tears followed out of his eyes as he clutched Chanyeol closer to him fearing the taller would disappear in a moment.

Chanyeol noticed this and wrapped his arms around the latter pulling him closer, bring him deeper into their lip-lock. Baekhyun smiled and pulled away cuddling into his chest and sighing in content.

"He found his puppy" Lay giggled clapping his hands gleefully. Sehun and Kai high fived each other while Minseok let out a breath of relief, Chen patting him on the back for his quick thinking. Kyungsoo was fighting the urge to cry while Suho was letting them go freely.
