Chanyeol sat in his dormitory bed looking out the window at the falling snow. It was his last year attending Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Unlike most nights he would find himself falling asleep when his head impacted against his pillow yet tonight something seemed to be keeping the boy up. 

He glanced to his dorm mate Jongdae who was passed out on his bed from drinking too much at the ball everyone attended. Chanyeol reluctantly went himself not really expecting to enjoy it as much as he had. He danced with his friends and often found himself checking out some of the snacks that were offered.

Figuring that he wouldn't be getting sleep at all tonight Chanyeol tossed his blankets aside and climbed out of bed, gently closing over their dorm door the giant quietly walked downstairs to their common room.

Gryffindor Tower was filled with gold and red banners to celebrate their win of the final Quidditch match of the season. Chanyeol had somehow managed to bring him and his team to victory within the nick of time.

Sitting himself down on one of the couchs Chanyeol watched the magical fire before him. It was spelled to never go out on winter nights such as these, it's warmth making Chanyeol content.

He heard a shuffling from outside his common room entrance, since everyone that belonged in Gryffindor had been accounted for after the party Chanyeol didn't expect the passage to open and a small guy stumbling in.

The taller rose to his feet in question, his eyes nearly bulging out of his sockets upon noticing a Slytherin had accessed their common room. Only Gryffindor students had the password that opened the passage but for some unknown reason the boy dressed in green and silver had managed to slip in.

"Oh there you are Parkie Boo!" The boy smiled running closer on a drunken daze. Chanyeol's jaw dropped once he realised that Byun Baekhyun has just called him Parkie Boo. He and the latter had strong hatred towards each other ever since Chanyeol got busted for a crime the smaller had committed.

"What the hell are you doing here Byun?!" Chanyeol hissed, trying with all his tired might to push the latter off him, yet it was clearly a losing war. Baekhyun had somehow managed to slip his arms around Chanyeol's neck and shoulders, leaving him utterly immovable no matter how much the taller tried.

"Because I wanted to give you a kiss goodnight obviously you stupid giant!" The Slytherin pouted up at him, his deep brown eyes glistening in a soft of pink hue. Chanyeol immediately realised what was going on. Baekhyun had been slipped a love potion and for some god awful reason Chanyeol was the one that he had supposedly fallen in love with.

"Baekhyun this isn't you!" Chanyeol suddenly found himself yelling, he began thrashing around on the smallers arms desperate to get away but it was no use, the side effects of a love potion was that whoever drank it would get stronger and alot more clingy. Since both of those things were in Baekhyun's nature anyway Chanyeol knew he was screwed.

"How could you say that to your boyfriend Park Chanyeol, of course I'm being normal! I love you!" Baekhyun gasped, faking a hurt expression to at least get some tender love from his 'boyfriend'.

"Okay first, I'm not your boyfriend" Chanyeol huffed closing his eyes so he didn't admit willingly that Baekhyun looked cute while pouting. "Second of all you hate me, we hate each other. We play pranks on each other every day don't you remember that?!"

"That's our declaration of love towards each other!" Baekhyun giggled tightening his grip on Chanyeol's neck drawing the Quidditch player closer to his face.

"You are so lucky you are on a love potion or I swear I'd punch you right now" Chanyeol sighed pushing the latter so he at least could sit down on the couch. He was exhausted from the party but clearly his body decided that being beside Baekhyun was more than enough to tire him out, escpically since the smaller was alot more touchy than usual.

"No you wouldn't, in everything we've did before you've never once raised your hand to me~! I've hit you a couple times over the head and your arms too but you've never hit me - hey has anyone everyone told you that you're really cute?"

"Cute would be the way to describe you - what the hell am I saying?!" Chanyeol shrieked standing up, putting as much distance as he could between himself and Baekhyun. He couldn't remember off the top of his head how long a love potion would go on for and the only person that could tell him that was over the other side of the school in the Ravenclaw Tower, more than liking sleeping like he should be.

"Awww my Channie just called me cute!" Baekhyun squealed clapping his hands gleefully, Chanyeol watched him with a cocked brow. He wasn't used to being called cute nicknames like Channie or Parkie and it was definitely making him feel slightly uncomfortable.

"Come on Baekhyun, go back to your dorm I'm sure your house members are worried sick about you" Chanyeol sighed crossing his arms and glancing the latter over.

"No!" He declined shaking his head, mirroring Chanyeol's attention with his arms. "Besides I want to spend more time with you, you can't blame me for it darling"

Chanyeol just wanted to crawl up in a ball and cringe his way out of this mess, he doesn't understand how it was possible that Baekhyun had fallen in love with him when he hadn't seen him during the party, and he also doesn't get why it took the latter so long to find him.

"Baekhyun did you see me at all at the party today? Did anyone give you a drink taht smelt like me?" Chanyeol wondered wanting information so he could at least (when he can) sleep peacefully.

"My pumpkin juice tasted a little weird.." Baekhyun admitted slowly nodding his head "and yeah I saw you today, right after I took it actually.. you were standing with Luhan the Ravenclaw and Jongdae"

Chanyeol deemed that as the moment the potion must have taken affect. If it was the potion he thought it to be then whoever Baekhyun had seen the moment he drank it was the person he fell in love with, Chanyeol on My wished it wasnt him.

"But that doesn't matter, because I know you love me too" the smaller grinned, his eyes forming cresent Chanyeol has never seen before. He expected himself to get freaked out by the situation that befell him but he wasn't. Chanyeol blamed his tired body and brain.

"You know you're not supposed to leave your dorm after 10 pm Baekhyun it's the rules.."

Once again the smaller boy on the couch huffed and crossed his arms. "I wanted to see you alright?! I wanted a goodnight kiss which you still haven't given me and can you at least stop calling me Baekhyun when I've been calling you cute nicknames!!"

Chanyeol was taken aback. He had no idea what to call the latter when all he's ever named him was Byun or Snake, apparent from that he never used a nickname on him before.

"H-honey I need to get you back to your dorm room.. if anyone here wakes up and sees you, you'll get in trouble and you don't want getting put in detention either.. then you wont be able to come and see m-me. I know you don't want to go but I can walk you, at least then you can get your time with me..how's that?" Chanyeol truly had no idea where he was going with this, he just wanted Baekhyun to go back to the slytherin dungeon so he could at least think of a plan to overcome the love potion.

Baekhyun seemed extremely happy with the offer, jumping to his feet Baekhyun rushed towards the taller male and gripped his arm pulling him through the passageway and into the darkness of Hogwarts castle.

Chanyeol mumbled a spell to light the end of his wand, giving them a source of light to travel by. Baekhyun giggled quietly as the painting on the walls all groaned at the sudden light passing by then but they didn't give the students much attention after that.

As they continued their journey through the hallways hoping that no teacher was on patrol tonight, Chanyeol noticed that the elder wizard was slowly bit by bit getting closer to him in fright. "Are you okay?" Chanyeol found himself wondering, surprising himself with his concern for the latter.

"Ah.. I'm sorry giant but I'm afraid of the dark.." Baekhyun blushed, Chanyeol noticed how the term giant's meaning had been changed. Usually Baekhyun would use it in an angered tone but this time it held more feeling to it.

Chanyeol relaxed his body and even found himself wrapping his arms securely around the latter's waist. Baekhyun looked up at the giant in shock, he had expected more rejection but got care instead, he felt his heart warm at the gesture.

Eventually they found themselves staring up at the painting that would bring them straight into the slytherin common room. Chanyeol glanced down to Baekhyun waiting for him to mutter the otherwise unknown password. The smaller was a little hesitant, he didn't want the taller to leave him so easily once he muttered the password, yet Chanyeol's eyes seemed to speak for him.

After mumbling the password Chanyeol gasped as the large portrait of the founder of Slytherin pushed off the wall revealing the green and silver common room. Eyes looked through the dark of the passage from the lit room inside. Chanyeol immediately stiffened at the glares he was recieving.

"Baekhyun oh thank Merlin, what are you doing with that Gryffindor?!" Sehun yelled once their smallest hyung deagged Chanyeol through the passage and into their common room. Chanyeol stook out like a sore thumb his red and gold against the silver and green.

"I went to see my Channie!" He hollered looping his arms around the taller's waist. Chanyeol whimpered and sent anyone who would look at him a pleading glance.

"Love potion" he managed to pant out as Baekhyun tightened his grip. "He showed up in our common room, I have no idea how he got the password but somehow he did and he's been all over me please do me a favour and get him away from me"

Before he could blink practically every awake Slytherin tried to pull their house member off the Gryffindor, Baekhyun putting up a fight against them all he even went as far as throwing spells at them.

"I'm not leaving my Channie!" He screamed making sure everyone knew his statement.

"Oh for crying out- Baekhyun" Chanyeol breathed looking down to the near crying boy on his chest. He felt his chest heaving seeing how close to breaking the latter was, he had never seen Baekhyun like this before it rather gave him a surprise. "Is it alright if I tuck him into bed? Maybe then he'll let me go"

His question was directed to the other Slytherins. Jongin and Sehun thought it over considering they were the smallers closest friends. Seeing as they had no other option against a love potion they gave the tallest guy in the room a nod.

Baekhyun suddenly became well behaved, he stepped away from the giant choosing to hold onto his hand instead. Chanyeol secretly wallowed in the warmth, a small smile ghosting on his lips as Baekhyun let him towards his dorm room.

Once inside Chanyeol blushed realising where he was and the fact that Byun Baekhyun didn't have a roommate truly meant that they were alone, in a bedroom with a bed and Baekhyun on a love potion. Chanyeol nothing more than to leave and spell the door so the other couldn't come out but the side effects of the love potion made him stay.

"Come on Baek time for bed" he instructed looking at the male who sat obediently at the end of his bed. The small bit looked up and nodded, getting up to look through his trunk of clothes. Pulling out some Pjs Chanyeol turned around so he didn't have to witness the Slytherin change.

A quiet giggle filled his ears as a soft hand tapped his shoulder, turning around cautiously Chanyeol looked down at the smaller who was cuddled up in a cute oversized shirt and shorts. Baekhyun's room was very well inculcated so Chanyeol didn't have to worry about him being cold on a winter night such as this one.

"You really are a gentleman" Baekhyun giggled cutely, his fingers looping around Chanyeol's neck as he let out the sweet melody.

"I didn't want to look and disrupt your privacy" the giant admitted hanging his head slightly in embarrassment. Baekhyun laughed silently at his actions.

"Youre too cute Channie" he whispered, making Chanyeol look up in confusion. Baekhyun took this as his chance, he stepped forward and pressed his lips against the latter's smiling softly into the kiss.

For a moment Chanyeol was frozen in time, his mind having to register the fact that Byun Baekhyun had kissed him. Although he was on a love potion Chanyeol found himself slowly allowing himself to be kissed, giving back as much as he was getting. Baekhyun hummed sweetly into his mouth when Chanyeol's tongue slipped inside. They were pressed against the wall in the smallers dorm room making out and Baekhyun was enjoying every aspect of it, from the attention Chanyeol was giving his lips but also the feel of the giants hands running up and down his back never going lower than his waist really made him smile.

When reality finally sunk in Chanyeol withdrew himself from the kiss, panting softly against the smallers lips. He felt his stomach churn in a feeling he didn't quite understand. Baekhyun looked up at him in question but his eyes sparkled over in that pink glow reminding Chanyeol that this wasn't real.

"You need to go to bed now Baekhyun.. I'll see you in the morning okay for breakfast alright?"

Baekhyun looked defeated but followed Chanyeol's orders nonetheless. Chanyeol staying true to his word, he tucked the blankets around the males body and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead wishing him sweet dreams.

When he was sure that the elder was asleep Chanyeol walked back outside into the common room surprised to see only Sehun and Kai still awake waiting for him.

He spent another couple minutes trying to answer as many questions as they had but they knew he was tired and needed rest just like the both of them.

"We researched the potion when you two were in there, and the effects should be gone by tomorrow.. he'll sleep them off so you won't have to worry about him attacking you again tomorrow" Kai announced, a small nod going towards he taller who thanked him for the information.

When he finally got back to his dorm Chanyeol collapsed onto his bed, his brain even more worked up then when he first hit the pillow earlier that night. He didn't understand why he was suddenly feeling so strongly towards the small bit in silver and green robes, he had never effected in this way before.

Chanyeol went to sleep that night thinking of Baekhyun.

At breakfast the next morning Chanyeol had mirror less explained the entire situation to his best friends. Jongdae seemed to have known something was up last night when he actually rolled over and fell out of bed noticing that his tall friend wasn't in the bed next to him.

"Nice to know that you didn't care enough to even look for me" Chanyeol mumbled sending his friend a glare as he bit into his toast.

"You're a big boy Chanyeol you would have been fine" Jongdae countered so long his eyes at his best friend. "But if I had of known Byun Baekhyun was in our common room I probably wouldn't have let you go so easily"

"Have you seen him at all this morning?" Kyungsoo a Ravenclaw wondered. Usually it was only Gryffindor student allowed at the table during meal times but with the castle slowly bringing in mixing rules the students took great pride meeting new friends from the others houses, however not once had a Slytherin been seen moving from theirs.

"Nope, it's 8am and not one sighting, I should probably be happy about that but I'm slightly worried about him" Chanyeol admitted waiting for his friends to scold him and they did.

"That kid has ruined you life since first year Chanyeol, you two are practically known as enemies through the while school, you can't seriously say now that you're worried about him!" Tao a hufflepuff commented his eyes wide.

"I'd be like that in any other situation Tao but we all know the side effects of a love potion, if he doesn't get attention from the one he... fell in love with then he'll cry until he does and I'd rather not go through that, at least my way I was seen as the nice guy and I helped him back to his dorm. Besides Kai and Sehun swore that the potion would ware off by today so no harm done"

"I wonder if any of the girls would be jealous of you two" Kyungsoo chuckled glancing down the table at a couple Gryffindor girls that were sending their elder wizard small hearts.

Chanyeol shivered in disgust, shaking his head and turning towards his friends for a subject change. He didn't get it as he was intruppted by a girl shoving a chalice  in his face. The group of friends eyes widened as the smelled different things coming from the supposed pumpkin juice.

"Oppa, please drink this I made it specially for you.. I hope you like it" the Hufflepuff girl smiled moving the cup closer to Chanyeol's face making him quickly stand up from the bench in fright.

"Ah thank you but I'm not really thirsty right now" Chanyeol bowed apologetically hoping the girl would take the hint and leave, taking her obvious live potion with her.

"Chanyeol-" Jongdae called indicating with his finger towards the doors of the Great Hall, just beyond his eyesight of the hufflepuff girl. He glanced over her shoulder and saw a very shy Baekhyun looking towards him.

"Oops please drink this I've spent all night long preparing this.. The ingredients nearly ran ou- I mean it took awhile for me to find a cup in the kitchen" she blushed almost slipping her secret.

When Chanyeol refused again the girl yelled getting everyone's attention, she shoved the cup into Chanyeol's chest nearly spilling it all over him.

His friends and the rest of the school watched them intently, Chanyeol only interested in the one set of eyes that were watching his every move. He took the cup from the girl and quickly sidestepped her taking a sip from the goblet his eyes solely on Baekhyun as he drank everything in the cup.

The girl gasped as her plan had backfired completely, her love potion unable to please her hopes and dreams. Chanyeol stumbled while he tried to place the goblet onto the table, he was light headed but his eyes continued to remain on the boy before him.

Baekhyun's jaw was dropped, he woke up with a massive headache this morning and memories of everything that happened last night. He got told of his devoted love to the giant in the Gryffindor tower by his housemates when he emerged from his dorm a couple hours ago. He was told about the pink hue in his eyes and he was even more confused when Chanyeol suddenly stood before him with not an ounce of pink present.

"Chanyeol.." He whispered suddenly feeling so small under the taller's gaze. He hadn't realised that the entire school was watching them as well. "How are you feeling?"

"Like I want to kill you" Chanyeol admitted honestly, he watched in slight amusement as Baekhyun's eyes widened in surprise.

"How?! She just gave you a love potion, you're supposed to say you love him!" Jongdae yelled still unmoving from the bench.

"No love potion could ever make me love him" Chanyeol stated his gaze hardening on the boy before him. Baekhyun suddenly felt his heart crack, he also realised that he had some adoration feelings for the giant when he woke up this morning but now he had to check if he still felt that way.

"Does that mean you love me Oppa, was I the first one you saw when you drank my potion?" The girl still hopeful questioned. Chanyeol didn't even bother to answer her, he was too focused on his so called enemy to even give her the time of day.

Baekhyun felt his body stiffen as the giant stepped closer to him. He could feel his heart pounding harder against his chest, his breathing hitching as Chanyeol's head dipped down so now they were at eye level. If they were in any other situation Baekhyun would have hit the taller upside the head but he couldn't bring himself to do it today..not after last night.

Too engrossed in his thoughts Baekhyun never realised Chanyeol's approaching lips, he jumped slightly in surprise when he felt them against his own but he quickly melted into a puddle of goo.

Chanyeol's arms wrapped against his waist while Baekhyun clutched the latter's robe trying to bring him closer. However Chanyeol relaxed himself and drew himself away from the kiss.

"A love potion won't work on a person who is already in love" he whispered looking at the smaller who was a little dazed from their kiss. Everyone in the Great Hall watched as a Gryffindor and Slytherin had shared the first kiss between their houses. It was a crazy sight to witness and an even crazier thing to hear when Baekhyun started giggling.

Chanyeol smiled down at the smaller in his arms, Baekhyun shook his head and connected their lips again. "Hard to believe it took me getting spiked with a love potion to come together huh?"

The remaining houses who hadn't learnt of their history gasped in surprise. Chanyeol laughed and nodded his head, he gently bent down and leant his forehead against Baekhyun's.

"I think I need to introduce you to a couple people who were very interested in our story from last night" Chanyeol sighed glancing back over to his friends who waves awkwardly.

Baekhyun blushed and waved back however he halted Chanyeol in his steps "Can we do that later.. I kinda have something I wanted to um.. just come with me" he began pulling him towards the Great Hall doors and Chanyeol allowed himself to pulled away from everyone's eye without a second glance.
