Chanyeol had found himself pushing through the crowd, dancing around the room.

It was his 25th birthday and his friends had organised a party for him, in their favourite local café.

It was a highpoint for them when they were in the local school, it was a very small community and almost everyone attended the same school; LakeWater High.

A sweet melody danced in his ears once he reached the outside air.

A man's soft voice dances along the breeze towards the taller, almost as if spelling his legs into walking over.

"Hello?" Chanyeol called.

The guy by the pier jumped, shocked to have been caught mid verse.

"Oh he-hello" he bowed showing his respect.

"My name is Chanyeol can i ask yours?"

"Baekhyun" the male replied his red cheeks flashing through the dark of the night.

"I'm not sure I've seen you around here before" Chanyeol smiled leaning over onto the railing by the water.

"I'm not actually from here"

Cocking a brow Chanyeol turned to look back at the smaller. "Just move here?"

Baekhyun released a chuckle while nodding "You could say that"

"Where you from?"

Chanyeol followed the finger Baekhyun used to point to the ocean "There"

Chanyeol brushed it off clearly thinking that the boy was from across the water's.

"What brought you to Lakewater?"

"Traveling, you know the usual human story"

Chanyeol nodded in understanding. After all his best friends boyfriend was the exact same.

"You have a really nice voice" Chanyeol blurted when silence over took the atmosphere.

He could tell under the moonlight that Baekhyun was a tomato in disguise trying to hold back from releasing his true identify however it wasn't working very well for him.

"Thank you"

Once again the silence came upon them, the only thing filling it would be the soft lapping of the water under the decking they were currently standing on.

"Its beautiful isn't it?" Baekhyun sighed happily, his shoulders drooping.

"You or the ocean?" Chanyeol smirked.

Baekhyun rolled his eyes a small smile tugging his lips "You wouldn't like to get involved with me Chanyeol"

"Whys that?"

"You couldn't handle it, and you'd be left broken hearted"

Chanyeol didn't know why but he felt pulled to the boy an arm length away. It was like he was the waves beneath him being pushed back and forward by the full moon above them.

"Wait you want to become something?"

"I've seen you alot around here Chanyeol, I know your looking for a settling relationship but I'm not the one that can give it to you"

"You don't look like someone who would be up for a one night stand Baek"

The smaller seemed to be surprised by the sudden nickname but Chanyeol pushed past it.

He wasn't at all scared of the conversation he just suddenly started with a stranger, instead he thought of Baekhyun as a very close person already, a crush that seemed to have gone on forever instead of the 10 minutes they just went through.

"Its not" Baekhyun admitted with a nod "but I have no choice"

"Everyone has a choice Baekhyun"

"Not in this story Chanyeol"

With a sideward glance Chanyeol noticed how Baekhyun's shoulders had scrunched up into tense muscles once again.

"Look I'm sorry if I came off on the wrong foot"

"No id love to have a relationship with you Chanyeol but I wouldn't stay long, you'd only get the night out of me"

Chanyeol pulled himself away from the railings and pushed himself up against Baekhyun.

"Why am I saying all this, I'm not gay or horny"

Baekhyun's lips cracked a small smile "I just have that effect on people, I'll leave you alone now if you'd like, your problem will go down too"

Chanyeol immediately began shaking his head "No" he whispered. "Don't leave"

Without realising he had turned his attention below the small brown eyes to the soft plump pink lips.

"They look so puffy" he whispered, his head unconsciously leaning forward.

Baekhyun's heart fluttered, his spell over the taller was working perfectly.

However what Baekhyun didnt know was that once their lips had met, his spell was broken and Chanyeol was able to take ahold of his actions.

Chanyeol wrapped his arms around the smaller's waist and pulled him closer, wanting to deepen the kiss more.

When he decided to pull back by himself Baekhyun's eyes widened, noticing his spell wasn't effective anymore.

"If I can only have you for a night I'll happily take it"

Baekhyun's breath hitched.

He couldn't have Chanyeol finding out about his secret, it was bad enough that his parents always encouraged him to go find humans to have fun with since his Mother had been one, before she gave up her legs for his father.

"A night?"

Chanyeol nodded shyly, feeling his cheeks burn at 100 degrees.

"Thank you for understanding Chanyeol" Baekhyun grinned while looking down.

"I actually don't understand but your welcome, I'm not going to ask you why i can't keep you"

"I appreciate that"

"So eh.... how do we sta-"

"Lets go back to your party, birthday boy" Baekhyun grinned, grabbing ahold of Chanyeol's hand and pulling the boy back towards the café.

Once they walked in the people inside screamed a Happy Birthday to the tall man who had already received the surprise treatment earlier on.

"Chanyeol where the hell were you, we are going to cut the cake!" Sehun screamed pushing through the audience before placing a cake on the small table before them.

"Is that a fish?" Baekhyun wondered glancing down at the birthday cake.

"Yeah, I'm a swimmer and I spend most of my time in the water so I love seeing them" Chanyeol explained, his heart beating quicker at the close proximity.

"Come on then, blow them out!"

Chanyeol was hesitate at first, but with a slight whip of streamers on his back and a hand just above his waistband of his jeans, he quickly blew out the candles, standing midarm to well....shoulder to Baekhyun.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANYEOL!" The crowd shouted before the music came back on and everyone went back to dancing, eatting or drinking.

"So Chanyeol who's this?" Sehun wondered cutting himself a slice of cake.

"This is-"

Before he could speak another voice bet him to it.

"BAEKHYUN?!"

The said boy's eyes widened, his arms opening wide as a taller pink haired boy ran into his arms.

"Luhan!" Baekhyun gasped clutching the elder tighter.

"How have you been?!" The cotton candy haired boy asked, his arms not leaving Baekhyun's.

"I've been alright, you know same old tell me what is it like here?!"

"Oh Baekhyun it's amazing you would love it here, Sehun has taken me to so many places and believe me Baek that are more beautiful than anything underwater"

Baekhyun shook his head letting out a cute giggle that had Chanyeol's legs swooning.

"We both know your exaggerating"

Luhan gave a shy nod however he was determined to tell his friend of his adventures outside the underwater life style.

"Sehun this is Baekhyun he's like me" Luhan grinned, his arm wrapped around the smaller's shoulder tightly.

Sehun pulled his bottle of water away and grabbed Baekhyun hand to shake. "Its great to meet ya Baekhyun"

Baekhyun smiled shyly accepting the boys hand in a shake. His eyebrows raised seeing Chanyeol's glare.

"Lu, I have to go now I promised Chanyeol i'd stay the night"

Luhan sent his friend a knowing smile "I know" he whispered "that's how I started out with Sehun"

Baekhyun could feel the blush flare "Its not going to happen"

"The spell wore off him though, am I right?"

Baekhyun hung his head in shame. His hyung was right, maybe Chayeol was the one that he was sent to look for. Maybe he was the one that he needed in order to trade his tail for legs all the time, instead of just a certain amount of time.

His mother had been a human once, before his father had come to find someone to take back to the sea.
That's how things worked. Mermen were to go search for their true love above the water's.

Since Baekhyun was born a carrier (a rare merman development that allows him to have children) he needed to come onto land to find his true love. But instead of bringing him to the ocean, Baekhyun would have to stay on land for the rest of his life.

Meeting Chanyeol was amazing and that but when he managed to break out of Baekhyun's protection spell Baekhyun knew that Chanyeol would cause some problems.

"I didn't even want to be here tonight" he muttered, quiet enough for Luhan to hear.

"What why?" The boy questioned.

"Because unlike you i actually like living in the water"

"Oh Baek you really don't pay attention in Merology do you"

Once again Baekhyun hung his head low.

"Aish.....we keep our tails" Luhan whispered.

Baekhyun let out a loud laugh "Yeah we keep them hahaha Lu you've gotten more funny I'll tell ya"

"Will you shut up!" The elder scolded "Its true, since both you and I are carriers that means that we have to give up our tails for legs right?"

Baekhyun slowly nodded.

"We were born mermen Baekhyun, meaning we came out with a tail, we can never get rid of it, if anything the tail just becomes dormant until we touch water again"

"Does that mean we will give up our legs if we touch water?"

Luhan shook his head "No" he explained "We just need to dry off and the tail will vanish, remember your heat power that you used to annoy your parents with?"

Baekhyun nodded "Yeah?"

"You can use that to dry off, its simple really"

"But what about our children?" He wondered.

Luhan chuckled "If we have legs when we are about to deliever them then they shall remain human, no tails when touching water or anything like that"

"And if we have a tail when giving birth?"

"They'll come out with tails and they will have legs too, they'll be like us, can live on either land or sea but they will need to keep away from water unless you want everyone knowing about our secret"

Baekhyun's brain began taking in the information bit by bit, until it finally clicked and registered with him.

"Okay, I got it" he grinned, inwardly cheering and patting himself on the back.

Im a surpise turn of events for Chanyeol, Baekhyun cuddled into his chest more. The simple gesture causing his head to flutter.

"You alright?" Baekhyun wondered noticing Chanyeol's dazed expression.

"I'm fine" He smiled tightening his hold on the latter's waist.

Baekhyun bit back a smile, wrapping his arms around Chanyeol's chest from the side.

From there things got more couply. Chanyeol introduced Baekhyun to his friends and forced the smaller to sit on his lap during the rest of the party.

Baekhyun learned that Chanyeol lived pretty close to the sea and worked a small job that payed greatly. He didn't know what it was but he was happy that the taller was happy. 

Meanwhile Chanyeol seemed to only form more questions about the smaller. How did Luhan known him. How was Baekhyun like Luhan the only similarity was their bright hair but that was all!

Chanyeol released a sigh noticing the time. Baekhyun would only be staying for another 5 hours. Gosh...time went by so quickly.

Throughout the remainder of the party Chanyeol noticed that Luhan and Baekhyun had sent each other looks. Clearly these looks had meaning because everytime they did Baekhyun's head would drop in shame.

Chanyeol wanted to see if he was alright but decided against it, pulling the boy closer while hugging him seemed to help.

Now that the boy was upclose Chanyeol could smell the seawater from Baekhyun.

Chanyeol was amazed, since he loved being in the sea he couldn't wait to be in Baekhyun. WAIT

"Chanyeol I thought you weren't gay" His friend Chen laughed, pulling his beer closer to his lips.

"And there was me thinking you were" He smirked looking at his panic shrunken friend who was in a hurry to explain to his girlfriend that some things happened in college and he was past all that now. The girl still got up and left, Chen not even bothering to follow after her.

"Sorry Man" Chanyeol apologised seeing his friends lost expression.

"Sehun do you know if Minseok is here?"

Baekhyun screamed "MINSEOK?!" Luhan giggled while nodding his head. "So this is where he's been for years!" The puppy cried clinging onto Chanyeol's arm.

A small kitten faced hu approached the table and almost did seeing the familiar face.

"OH MY GOSH BAEK!" he yelled pulling the boy up and away from Chanyeol, trapping the boy in his arms.

"HYUNG!" Baekhyun yelled back.

Their shouts were muffled by the loud music anyway so no one paid any attention to them.

"How have you been?!" The eldest questioned slipping into a chair next to Chen while Baekhyun cuddled back up into Chanyeol's embrace.

"I've been lonely ever since you bozos left me! I had to deal with Suho and Kyungsoo whincing about how Tao was crying over the hermit crab when he moved shell!"

"That isn't too bad..."Minseok explained watching as Baekhyun'a eye twitched in anger.

"Your lucky I didn't kill the three of them in their sleep" he muttered.

Chanyeol released a small chuckle at Baekhyun's pout.

"YAH IT'S NOT FUNNY!" he shouted, whacking Chanyeol on the chest. "Those idiots are so annoying and grumpy all the time"

"Hmmmm reminds me of someone else~" Luhan teased.

"Okay that happened one time!" Baekhyun glared.

"What about that time with the sand?"

"Twice"

"And the shell?"

"Okay three times"

"What about-"

"Alright four!"

Luhan and minseok gave each other a high five while Baekhyun sank back into the warmth that was Park Chanyeol.

"Minseok Chen wanted you to kiss him" Baekhyun blurted.

He glanced around at the shocked expression's before exclaiming.

"Isn't that why he called him over her for? To test if he does get turned on by boys, because og he does then he can end his relationship with the cheater"

"Hold on, what do you mean by cheater?" Chen yelled, his eyes widening.

"She's cheating on you" Baekhyun deadpanned "Didn't you notice the hockey on her collar bone? No? Just me?"

Baekhyun had taken the time to anylase everyone expressions before he finished his statement.

"That could have been his though" Sehun explained, tossing his feet up into the table like a proud man.

"True, but it isn't Chen's lips aren't swollen or puffy or even bruised and by the colouring of her bruise it happened very recently, besides she got annoyed over something so small and stupid. Chen had explained himself and then conculed to admit that it was in his past and he was happy with her yet she still left, if her cheating is really true which it is she will break up with you, claiming that she understands that you are in fact gay but just doesn't realise it so she'll made herself scarse so you can figure it out but In reality it's because she's in love with someone else."

Everyone's jaw dropped as Baekhyun reached forward and took Chanyeol's beer from the table and took a sip, before getting comfortable again.

"What?" He asked feeling a shiver run down his back at the attention "Isn't that the typical human story?" He asked turning to Minseok and Luhan who could do nothing except nod their heads.

Baekhyun smiled to himself, pressing a soft kiss onto Chanyeol's cheek in happiness.

"Thanks for being so straightforward hyung" Chen muttered his eyes now casted to Minseok.  "Minnie would you kill me if I asked you to date me?"

"Eh....."

"You know our college days were great, we always had so much fun, but since she came and tore you away from me I want to start anew"

"But-"

"I was only with her for the reason of not wanting to be gay but now that's she's walked out my insecurities went with her"

Chen didn't even wait for a minute until Minseok talked he connected their lips in a rushed tone however Minseok gripped his shirt, pulled him closer and the two were so into the kiss that Baekhyun and the others grew slightly embarrassed for witnessing such sight.

"Thsts enough for me" Chanyeol stated tapping Baekhyyun's shoulder so he could get up off the chair.

Together the friends walked outside the café and said their goodbyes.

Baekhyun hugged Luhan and minseok last.

"Come to the meeting place tomorrow, we have so much catching up to do" Minseok whispered.

"I cant believe it you guys it's been too long" Baekhyun whispered back tears filling his eyes.

"150 years isn't that long"

Baekhyun realeased a giggle knowing he was right.

"Go and be with Chanyeol, Baekhyun don't be afraid to show him who you are either"

Baekhyun nodded "Alright"

"And remember you only have to dry off to get rid of the tail" Luhan whispered sending him a wink.

"You live here?!" Baekhyun gasped glancing around his arms spread out as he looked around at the sea-side home of Chanyeol's.

Baekhun sat himself down on the couch and waited the waves lap the shore down the beach below.

Chanyeol watched from the doorway as the boy giggled and clapped whenever a wave tumbled up and upon itself. To his surpise and delight it happened alot.

"Channie come watch the waves with me!" He called gesturing with his hand to the taller male.

Chanyeol released a chuckle and sat hiself down next to Baekhyun on the couch.

The boy sat into his lap and grinned down evilly at him. "I still got 3 hpurs" he whispered his head dropping lower.

Chanyeol grinned up at him as their lips connected and tongues played around with each other.

With one shift move from his hands Chanyeol's fingers cupped Baekhyun's plump ass cheeks. The said boy moaning as he pulled out of the kiss .

"If you want to keep teasing me I'll just leave now"

"I'm no-not teasing you" Chanyeol was quick to defend.

"Then put your dick in me"

Oh the magic dirty talk had over a person is unvelieveable. It was known due to the mermaids who sweet talked pirates into climbing off their ships to come and have sex with them. But pleasure ended with death as many of the mermaids had driven the humans insane with their voices. The merman did not like the way the woman treated the human men and so they were forced to migrate. The mermen then started evolving, growing their own children carrier within their bodies. Chanyeol breathed heavily as Baekhyun contiued to rock his hips following his movements completely. They came with a shout and Baekhyun welcomed Chanyeol's tired body onto his own.

It had just reached 8 o'clock in the morning and Baekhyun was dressed and currently writing a small note.

He didnt want to leave but he believed that if he didn't Chanyeol would find out he's secret and not be as forgiving as Sehun.

Once he was finished with his note Baekhyun quietly walked back over to the bed, carefully he placed the slip of paper down on the pillow and stepped away.

Walking over to chnayeol's side of the bed, Baekhyun took his time watching the latter. He truly was a sight for sore eyes and Baekhyun couldn't help but feel extremely lucky he was even able to share such a hot few hours with the men.

He knew that when the man woke up he'd be upset that he wasnt there to wish him a good morning, but Baekhyun needed to return to the dea before more people in boats entered the quay.

Just as he was about to mean down and connect his lips to Chanyeol's forehead, a hand gripped his own.

Moving back in pure shock he was greeted with chnayeol's very much awake eyes.

"Stay" he breathed, his eyes were clouded with tears and Baekhyun felt his throat scrunch up.

"You know I cant" he whispered, running his fingers through the tallers black hair, trying to make him go back asleep.

"I want you to"

"I cant"

Chanyeol was very much awake now and he clung into Baekhyun's hand like his life was in the balance.

"Thank you for last night" Baekhyun grinned sadly, his voice cracking in the middle.

Chanyeol allowed the tears to fall when he watched Baekhyun stand up and drop their hands.

Chanyeol was already looking for clothes when Baekhyun was downstairs.

Just as the back door closed, Chanyeol rushed down the stairs after him.

Baekhyun walked to the shore by the end of Chanyeol's back yard. It led him to the beach and Baekhyun could already feel the type id welcome he'd get from his parents when he returned.

He wants Chanyeol to come and stop him but he knew in his heart the boy wouldnt. After all they had agreed on a night and a night was all they could give each other.

"Baekhyun"

Turning around Baekhyun's eyes widened seeing the giant running toward him.

He noticed how quickly he was reaching him and Baekhyun could do nothing but turn the opposite way and run.

He splashed through  the water feeling his heart lunge when he dove into the deeper part of the sea.

Chanyeol was hesitate as he countiued to run into the water after him, after all he wount not let Baekhyun get away from him.

Sucking in a deep breath Chanyeol dove in. What he was made him almost breath in air.

Baekhyun was struggling against the current, his legs coming together and bubbles formed all around him.

He was breathing, breathing in water.

Chanyeol hovered on the water watching the outcome of the bubbles that surrounded the smaller.

When they finally went away, he gasped, his lungs filling with air.

Baekhyun's eyes widened seeing Chanyeol so near him.

"Chanyeol" he breathed, his hands trying to cover his large golden coloured tail.

The boy stared at him for a moment before he let out a breath, the air bubbles rushing upwards.

Baekhyun swam closer and used his magic to form a large bubble around the top of them. A bubble filled with air.

"You can breath now" he blushed, his tail staying in the sea while his upper body rested comfortably in the bubble.

Slowly but surely Chanyeol took a breath. He coughed up the small amount of water that had gotten into his lungs when he gasped.

"I'm sorry" Baekhyun was quick to apologise while the latter was still in a coughing fit. "I had to leave because I didn't want you to know about me and yet you followed me!"

Chanyeol breathed slowly, his eyes still wide as he glance down at the small gap in the bubble that allowed Baekhyuns tail to touch the seawater outside it.

"Your a mermaid" he breathed.

Baekhyun groaned "Not quite, I'm a merman not a mermaid, mermaids are girls so in case you haven't noticed from last night I'm very much a guy"

Chanyeol's expression was unreadable. He didnt know how to act nor how to react to the tail and bubble!

"Merman" he breathed, his gaze locked into Baekhyun tail.

"Chanyeol, my eyes are up here" Baekhyun smiled sadly swimming towards the man and lifting his chin.

At first Chanyeol was stiff, his eyes finally meeting with Baekhyun's lively brown ones.

"Now do you understand why I needed to leave, you dont want to be with a guy whose part fish" the comment seemed to cause a laugh to emerge from Baekhyun's lips.

Chanyeol immediately shook his head "You didn't have a tail when I met you Baekhyun, to me you were human"

"Then this really is a shock to you...."

Chanyeol let out a panted laugh "You think?"

Baekhyun laughed nodding shyly. "I was in denial for awhile" Chanyeol  started and Baekhyun knew he as talking about his sexuality.

"I kept thinking that I was straight but I met you and immediately fell in love-"

"It was part of a spell Chanyeol, I made you feel like that"

"But you stopped"

"I didn't, my connection to you broke the moment you kissed me"

"So you don't feel the same way as I do?"

"Do you think I cried myself to sleep last night because I didn't? Chanyeol you don't understand how much feelings I have for you, merfolk have our emotions alot harder than humans do"

"So if I said I love you?"

"I would return it ten times over" Baekhyun whispered.

"Then I don't care if you have a tail or a freaky bubble making hand I love you and if to keep you i have to deal with the things that come with you i will"

Baekhyun couldn't help but smile, wrapping his arms around Chanyeol's shoulders feeling the same action take place on his waist.

"I will follow you to the deepest parts of the ocean if I have to, but please don't go"

"Chanyeol-"

"Let me keep you"

Tears fell from Baekhyun's eyes as he missed taking Chanyeol's lips onto his own.

The bubble around them disappeared as the pulled away.

Chanyeol's eyes widened as he immediately saved the small amount of air left in his lungs.

Baekhyun giggled shaking his head. "You can breath dummy"

Chanyeol stated at him like he was crazy before Baekhyun exaggerated taking a deep breath.

Clamping onto the smaller hand tightly Chanyeol took in a breath.

"Okay how am I not dieing" he panted his eyes wide as he realised he was breathing underwater.

"SURPISE!" Baekhyun giggled flipping his tail back and forward and he swam around the taller a couple times.

"Baekhyun explain, I'm not going to grow one of those am I?" He asked pointing down to Baekhyun's tail.

"No silly, we became one last night so now whenever you touch the water you'll be able to breath like I can"

"Baekhyun" Chanyeol started but never finished as he pulled the smaller towards his chest.

Embracing the giant for a couple minutes Baekhyun was surprised to feel lips on his own again.

"I need to go to work" Chanyeol sighed cupping the smaller's cheeks. "I want to stay here and be with you but I have a life above the sea Baek and a family..."

Baekhyun immediately silenced him with another peck, "Chanyeol I'm coming to live on land, Luhan and minseok are like me they found someone to spend the rest of their life's with, they are here now and I will join"

"Was that some crappy way of proposing to me?"

Baekhyun looked taken aback. "Propose?"

Chanyeol nodded "Propose like to get married"

"Married?" Baekhyun's head turned to the side as he tried to  remember what not if those words meant.

"You have no idea what I'm talking about do you"

Baekhyun shook his head "No"

Chanyeol blew out a puff surpised to see the air bubbles float up again.

He glanced at Baekhyun and they both let out a small laugh.

"Come on let's go" he grinned grabbing ahold of Chanyeol hand and kicking off on his tail, the large golden muscle flapped up and down as it swam the both back to shore.

Baekhyun was sure to swim up next to a large sand dune so no wondering eye could see him.

His hand came out and he slowly created a fist, the water on his body getting evaporated off his body by the heat.

Chanyeol watched amused as Baekhyun's face scrunched up in disgust of the sand getting into his toes.

"That feels weird" he pouted standing up bone dry and in a new set of clothes.

"Okay thats not fair" Chanyeol pouted,  his clothes stuck to him as his hair was flat and unlively thanks to the seawater.

Baekhyun let out a cute giggle stepping forwards before stepping backwards remembering Luhan's words.

If he touches water again he'll grow a tail and as of the moment Chanyeol was the only sourse of water he needed to care about.

Raising his hand he repeated the action from before and Chanyeol was back to being dry. His hair had gotten styled back into the way it was the night before.

"That is the best magic I know of" he commenting stepping over and pulling Baekhyun into his arms.

"Okay rules " the latter instructed, Chanyeol nodded putting him down onto the spongy sand.

"I cant get wet whenever I'm out near people if I do I get a tail"

Chanyeol nodded "Should I be taking notes?"

Baekhyun sent him a glare before continuing. "I'm a carrier"

Baekhyun paused seeing the colour drain from Chanyeol's face.

'That means i-"

"I know what it means" he intruptted "Luhan can have kids which means I'm guessing you can too"

Baekhyun looked down before nodding "Yeah..."

Chanyeol took the male into his arms and lifted him up and twirled him around.

"You keep on getting more attractive" he laughed setting ask down. Baekhyun looked shocked but after a reasurrence kiss from the giant he was feeling way better.

"Anything else I need to know?"

"Eh...no i think that's it"

"Good because now I can do this"

Baekhyun let out a gasp as Chanyeol collided their  lips together. After about 5 minutes he pulled back with a groan.

"We are finishing that later" he whimpered pecking the boys lips before pulling away again.

"I need to go to work" Chanyeol cried feeling his heart break.

"Then go" Baekhyun giggled.

"But your here"

Baekhyun nodded taking a step closer and embracing the nervous giant.

"And I'll be here when you get home at...?"

"I'll be home at 4"

"Great I'll have dinner ready by then"

Chanyeol's eyebrows raised "You cook?"

"As long as it's not seafood"

With a chuckle Chanyeol nodded pressing a kiss to baekhyun's forehead.

"What are you going to do while I'm gone?" He wondered as they began making their way back up to the house.

"I'm thinking of going back to my friends in the cocean, I need to say goodbye they have another year before they can come look for their special person"

Chanyeol nodded in understanding "just please promise me you'll be here when I get home"

Baekhyun grinned kissing the giant on his lips fully. "I promise, besides Minseok and Luhan are coming with me they will remind me to come back to you"

Chanywaol was able to go to work with a calm mind, knowing he could trust Baekhyun to be in the house when he gets home later tonight.
