"Come on Baekhyun we are going to miss the lighting of the tree" Luhan groaned from his spot in the door-frame. "I'm doing my eyeliner give me a minute Lu" The said boy puffed out his cheeks. Baekhyun grinned and carefully applied the makeup. Within a few seconds he was ready. Grabbing his coat and phone he rushed out of his bedroom. Seeing his friend pretend to be asleep on the doorframe made him roll his eyes. Reaching out he flicked the sleeping boy's forehead. Luhan jumped and Baekhyun sighed. "Come on sleepy head the tree lights are still gonna come on with or without us." It was Luhan's turn to eye roll.

Walking out of their shared dorm, they met up with Kyungsoo and Minseok who each had two red unlit candles in their hands. When Luhan and Baekhyun arrived the others gave them their spare candles. "So who was on the decorating committee for tonight?" Baekhyun wondered wrapping his scarf tightly around his neck. "They volunteered this year so I don't know.." Luhan grumbled finding it hard to hold his candle with his gloves.

The football pitch of the school was covered in snow thanks to the cold weather. A large evergreen tree stood in the centre decorated with tinsel, lights and shiny baubles. Baekhyun and his friends were amazed. Stalls were set up around the tree and small crowds of students stood in front of them. "I'll go get some hot choco why don't you two go get your candles lit" Minseok ordered looking at both Luhan and Baekhyun.  Baekhyun nodded and glazed around, finally he noticed the stall and began dragging his deer like friend with him.

"Can we get our candles lit here?" He asked kindly. A taller boy with elf like ears turned around and looked at him. "Sure" he grinned. The boy reached out and tried to take Baekhyun's candle but the moment their hands touched energy surged through their bodies. The cold Baekhyun was feeling vanished for that spit moment. "You know you actually have to let go of the candle right?" Another tall blonde haired guy chuckled entering the booth. Letting the black haired guy take his candle Baekhyun pulled his hand back and blushed. Luhan reached out and gave his candle to the other boy, not having any problems.

Baekhyun's hand was clutched to his chest as he waited patiently for his precious candle. He noticed that the blonde guy was actually smaller than the guy that had his candle. Although to him and Luhan they were giants. "His name is Baekhyun if you were wondering" Luhan giggled taking his now-lit candle from the blonde haired boy. Baekhyun looked up noticing the taller look away immediately, a small blush crept onto his face. "That's Chanyeol and I'm Sehun" the blonde guy introduced. Baekhyun bowed respectfully and Luhan followed. "He's Luhan" Baekhyun muttered.

He sighed deeply as he watched Chanyeol put the candle down on the counter instead of having to hand it to him. Although he never felt the feeling before Baekhyun had enjoyed it. "What time do you guys get off?" He was surprised with his choice of words but was even ore shocked when Chanyeol had immediately said "When they are lighting the tree" Feeling a sense of courage overcome him Baekhyun locked eye contact with the giant and winked. "See you around than" And with that he grabbed Luhan's hand and sped walked to the hot chocolate stall.

25 minutes later~

The sky had become more dark and the stars were laminating the sky like a stary blanket. The football pitch lights were lowered to make it look magical and the snow on the ground added to the effect. The large tree's decorations glittered in the moonlight waiting to have their lights turned on for all to see.

The students of SM Academy gathered around the tree waiting for their principle to finish his boring speech on how some students would be going home for Christmas and others would be staying another day due to flight issues and such.  Baekhyun and his friends zoned out at this point. They had already discussed with their parents that would be staying at the Academy together to get extra study time in and extra time to practise their music. Their parents were more than happy to let them stay and to just send over their presents, whenever they had the time. "What does he mean by only 8 students will be staying?" Minseok wondered. Baekhyun glanced up from his gaze on the snow and frowned. "I thought it was just us" Luhan whispered.

Across the snow topped ground Baekhyun's eyes met those of Chanyeol's. The giant was smirking while talking to a tanned guy while he looked at Baekhyun. The latter gulped and turned his attention elsewhere. "How long does this speech go on for?"Kyungsoo groaned nearing blowing out his candle in the process. Baekhyun ignored the others and looked back over to Chanyeol only to see that he and the tanned guy were gone. Sad he clutched his candle harder.

"Hey why so blue Baek, come on look they're starting" Minseok grinned from beside me. I smiled softly watching the flame of my candle rise and fall. I cocked an eyebrow at the flame but thought nothing of it as the band began to play. Arms wrapped around around my waist pulling back into a hardened chest. I tensed but the feeling I had felt earlier. The warmth..ran throughout my abdomen and I snuggled closer admiring the heat. The candle flame rose higher and stayed like that never falling back down like it was before.

The hugger's head rested itself on mine and I instantly knew how tall this guy was. "Didn't I tell you that I would be off in time for the lights?" His deep voice like silk to Baekhyun's eyes. Baekhyun giggled enjoying the way the taller had him embraced. He turned to see his friends reactions but neither of them were paying the slightest bit of attention, bringing a smile to Baek's lips. "You going home for Christmas?" Baekhyun shook his head in negative and he could feel the smile making it's way onto the giants lips. "I'm staying too, my friends and I" Baekhyun's eyes widened as he turned around in the taller's embrace being sure to keep the candle out of their way, in fear of burning the guy.

"You are the other four that's staying?" Chanyeol cocked an eyebrow. "Got a problem with that baby?" Baekhyun could feel the blush creep onto his cheeks. He felt the tingling in his stomach. He had never felt this way towards anyone, especially someone he literally just met. Sure they had seen each other around campus before but neither of them talked. "Not at all babe in fact that may be a go thing" Baekhyun grinned wrapping his arms around the taller's neck. Chanyeol chuckled and went along with Baekhyun's Game slinging his arms around the latter's waist. "And why's that?" Baekhyun shrugged blowing out his candle, trying to ignore the butterflies that were conjuring a blizzard in the it of his stomach.

"Looks like the lights aren't working" Chanyeol chuckled taking his eyes from Baekhyun's for a spilt moment.
"Oh really?" Baekhyun pouted. Chanyeol laughed turning Baekhyun's head back to look at him using only his index finger. "Wanna help me turn them back on?" Baekhyun nodded and braced himself to move but to his confusment they didn't. "Aren't we supposed to go to the switch or something?" He questioned to which Chanyeol chuckled, shaking his head. "Then what?"

Chanyeol leaned down and gently pressed his lips together with Baekhyun's. The smaller immediately kissed back, enjoying the sense of heat radiating off the giant's built frame. As quickly as the moment had started it was over just as fast. Chanyeol whirled Baekhyun around making him face the tree once again, only to see the multicoloured lights flash on, and this time they stayed on. Baekhyun grinned at the sight not even noticing the hands on his waist. "Pretty ain't they?" Chanyeol whispered. Baekhyun nodded leaning back into the taller's built chest. "And think your the one that made them come on" Baekhyun cocked a brow turning his head slightly to look at the younger. "I couldn't have I was standing here the whole time Yeol" Baekhyun's eyes widened when he realised what he just said.

"Since when did we use nicknames Baek?" The said boy blush and buried his face in his hands, hitting his head with his candle. "Woah, there be careful of the flame Baek wouldn't want to get hurt now would we?" Baekhyun peeked through his fingers and looked up at the giant, having turned back around. "Chanyeol I blew out the flame" Baekhyun said watching the boys eyes shine. Confused Baekhyun stared down at the candle in his hands and gasped.

The flame had been relit.
