You don't remember falling asleep on the bus but when you woke, you were in your bed. Kid was sitting on your bed, your legs rest over his lap. He seemed to be asleep, arms folded over his chest. You sit up, watching him quietly. He sure was handsome, you really wanted to know more about him. You cautiously touch his cheek, half expecting him to wake. You smile when he doesn't, letting your fingers trail over his face softly. You carefully get off the bed and gently maneuver him to lay down before covering him up.
You stretch a bit before sitting down at your desk and turning on your laptop. Maybe there would be something online about Champions? You frown lightly, finding brands and information you weren't looking for at all. You sigh, sitting back and scrolling through pages until a picture catches your eye and you stop.
"A champion doll... Antique Shop of Grand Sea town..." You lean forward, he did seem to be the same type as Kid. "That's an hour drive..."
"Zoro..." Kid mutters, face suddenly beside yours. You squeak and cover your face in surprise, making him blink and look at you. "What was that?"
"You scared me! I thought you were asleep!" You gasp touching your chest.
"You were wrong." He says bluntly before looking back at the picture.
"So you were awake this whole time?" You question.
"Sorta... Not really... Im not sure if there's a word for it." He tilts his head.
"... Zoned out?" You guess. He looks at you unsurely.
"I guess so." He shrugs slightly. You search his face briefly before smiling.
"Let's teach you about the present." You hum, giving him your chair. He watches you warily as he sits down. You turn his face to the screen, bringing up educational videos for him to watch. Your arms hang over his shoulders limply as you rest your cheek on top of his head, watching the videos with him silently.
He was soon overwhelmed, looking away and getting up abruptly, making you stagger and fall back on your bed. "I don't need to know this." He starts.
"Kid. You'll have to learn it. I don't want you to be lost here." You frown. "We'll ease you into it but-"
"I don't need to know if I'm with you." He argues.
"Kid... What if I'm not there one day?" You point out. Kid straightens, eyes clouding briefly. He sighs heavily, putting a hand over his eyes.
"The world is always changing ___." He murmurs. "Trying to take it in gives me a headache." You frown lightly at that, getting up and touching his arm.
"Hey it'll be alright, we'll just take this slower..." You offer a smile. "I just don't want you to feel completely lost if I'm not with you." You rub his arm softly. He meets your gaze and relaxes.
"Alright... Are we going to go get Zoro?" He inquires.
"Tomorrow, it's really late and the shop is already closed. Lets go to sleep." You yawn, grabbing some sleeping attire before going into the bathroom to change. Kid blinks at the door before closing your laptop, looking over the outfits you had bought or made for him. He changes into sleeping pants and a tanktop swiftly before you come back out.
You pause as he messes with the pants. "These are odd..." He mutters.
"Heh, you'll get used to them." You pat his back before crawling in bed with a yawn.
"Are... You going to change me back?" He inquires.
"If you want me to, you can sleep in my bed either way." You murmur. He shifts at that, watching you settle in awkwardly before carefully moving beside you. "Night Kid..." You hum, swiftly drifting off. He frowns lightly and turns to you, watching your face silently.
"Sweet dreams..."

"What.?" You ask when he frowns at the car.
"I do not like the small carriages..." He murmurs.
"Sorry, this is all I can borrow today." You frown briefly. He peers at you before looking at it again.
"... How do you get in?" He asks. You smile and go over, opening the door for him. He awkwardly sits in it, looking at everything.
"Here, the seatbelt too." You hum, putting it on him. He peers at it and tilts his head. "Its for safety." You breathe, clicking it into place. He pauses, since your face was close. You peer at his face as you adjust the seatbelt. "You okay?" You ask him.
"Your eyes are really..." He looks to the side. "Jewel like." His comment made you blink in surprise and blush lightly.
"Oh... Thanks." You smile a bit before straightening up and shutting his door. That was sweet, awkward, but sweet none the less, you go to the driver's seat and get in, offering Kid a smile as you buckle up. "Lets go find Zoro."

This was proving harder than you thought. Kid didn't seem too surprised either. "Im surprised he didn't end up on some distant island..." He comments. You give him a confused look.
"What do you mean? Can he travel in that form?" You ask, he glances at you.
"That's just how it turns out. Well... Used to..." He shrugs. You tilt your head before glancing past him and smiling, pulling over.
"Finally found it." You grin, getting out. He gets out as well, following you into the shop. You browse the aisles with a hum until you find the swordsman plushie. "Hello little champion..." You murmur picking him up and carrying him to the register. "Excuse me, I'd like to buy-" You hold out the plushie and the cashier takes a big step back, looking at the plushie uneasily.
"I'll let you take him for free." He manages. You blink in confusion before shrugging and heading out.
"That was surprisingly easy..."
