Tapu Koko's POV

Island duties kept on getting lesser these days, well, Alola is pretty peaceful anyways, except at the Team Skull part, but that was before, all thanks to Ash because he got Guzma's respect after their battle during the Alola League.

Guzma is now taking over Nanu's place as a kahuna and Plumeria as his trial captain, and for Tapu Fini's opinion, they will be the hardest trial for trainers doing island challenges.

Until one day, Lele conducted a meeting about an important matter, she will not tell until all guardians have arrived, so Bulu, me and Fini quickly headed towards the Ruins of Life.

There, we saw Lele doing something on her altar, we hovered towards her, curious of what she's doing.

"I see you three have arrived." Lele stated, not looking at us.

"Let's get to the point already." Bulu grunted, but Lele decided to ignore him.

"I have let you come here to discuss an important matter, regarding on our gift to Ash." Lele started.

"You mean the mega stone we found?" Fini asked.

"You are correct Fini, you see, just days ago, I have noticed something on that mega stone we found, as I got curious to that mega stone, even if it is in the hands of Ash, I kept on studying it  even if it is faraway from here." She explained in a serious tone.

"At first, I didn't have any problem with it, but as I kept on studying it further, something I saw that cannot be explained." She finished.

That made the three of us look at Lele seriously. She pressed further.

"I can't believe I didn't noticed it, but normally, Latiasites are whitish purple with a streak of red right?" Lele asked, we all nodded.

"But as I looked at the stone, it has somewhat a streak of red and blue." Lele said.

"So wait, if red streak is originally for Latias, then the blue..." Bulu trailed off.

"Yes, it is also for Latios." Fini finished.

"Wait so that does mean..." I trailed off again, knowing where this one is going.

"Yes, you're right, that particular mega stone is a Latiasite and a Latiosite at the same time." Lele said and smiled.

Location : Kalos Region

Professor Sycamore's POV

The battle went on, I observed at the top floor of the battlefield, they exchanged blows of attacks, that Paul really did give Ash a challenge. But I was waiting for one thing, and I think it will happen soon.

Talking about Ash, I am more than shocked to see his entrance, that was a Latios and a Latias in the flesh! How come he managed to catch those two in just a span of three weeks!

But enough of that, the collision of Solarbeam and Dragon Pulses made a huge smoke throughout the battlefield, and I waited for the dust to disappear.

After the dust dispersed, Ash suddenly look at his wrist, I felt myself jolt in excitement because I get to see Latias mega evolve, but what I am thinking should happen too.

Just then, what I thought about for a while, what I researched day and night, what I worked hard for, finally happen! As they were expecting only one light to occur! But me, I'm expecting both eons to mega evolve at the same time as soon as Ash will trigger the keystone!

Flashback

I decided to continue on researching on Ash's Latiasite's data because I feel like something is missing. I wasn't really observing on the outside look as I thought it's purely a Latiasite. Alain is also expert when it comes to mega evolution.

Then Alain came in, an assistant of mine who's also helping me collect mega evolution energy for Ash's case.

"Professor! Nice to see you." He greeted and walked towards me.

"Nice to see you too Alain, say, have you battled trainers who can mega evolve there pokemons?" I asked the trainer.

"I battled some but they're just really few, I might move to other regions to find strong trainers." Alain replied, then he noticed the Latiasite on the screen, I managed to take a picture of it before Ash went on his journey.

"Professor? I haven't seen this kind of mega stone, what is this?" Alain asked curiously as he pointed the Latiasite.

"That is a rare mega stone Alain, it is a Latiasite." I replied, as soon as he heard the word Latiasite, his eyes widened in surprise.

"A Latiasite?!" Alain repeated.

He quickly checked out his pokedex that I also upgraded and went to take a picture of the stone, the pokedex I gave him has a special function and that is to analyze the stone he took a picture with.

Then on the screen appeared the Latiasite, and beside it was the picture taken, Alain stared at his pokedex for a while, and that was when I got curious. I tried gaining his attention.

"Alain, what's wrong?" I asked him, but he didn't replied as he still focused on looking at his pokedex.

"Professor something seems off here, are you sure it's a Latiasite?" Alain asked.

"The machine said it's a Latiasite, as it was scanned days ago." I replied. "What's wrong?"

"Look professor, this here is a normal Latiasite, but what you have here is somewhat different." Alain said as he showed me his pokedex containing two different pictures of Latiasites.

I analyzed the picture, then moments later, I finally got the difference, my eyes widened in shock and I can't believe I just noticed this.

"Professor, my theory is, this thing here is a Latiasite, and at the same time, a Latiosite." He concluded as he showed me a picture of a Latiosite.

Flashback Ends

Ash's POV

I stared at the two magestic mega evolved eon pokemons in front of me, Paul had the same reaction as I was. I felt a new excitement in me and decided to continue the match.

"Latios, Latias, Psychic!" I commanded.

"Electivire, Thunderbolt everywhere! Magmortar you do the same with Flamethrower! Engulf yourselves!" Paul quickly shouted and was cut off from his trance.

Latios and Latias used Psychic on their opponents but failed as the two quickly engulfed themselves in their respective attacks.

"Electivire, quickly switch to Thunderpunch, Magmortar, stay put and assist Electivire with your Fire Spin!" Paul commanded.

"Latios, don't let Electivire come near you, use Shadow Ball! Latias, help out with Mist Ball!" I commanded, Paul really gave me a hard time here.

Electivire charged in with fists glowing with electricity, as it also deflected Latios' Shadow Ball and Latias' Mist Ball with the help of Fire Spin, but it manage to stop Electivire in it's tracks.

"Rush in with Ice Beam Latios! Latias, follow Latios and also use your Shadow Ball!" I commanded, they nodded and then charged towards the two with a blinding speed.

That caught Paul off guard and both Magmortar and Electivire was hit by both attacks and the two took steps backwards, they are now on their knees.

I have to end this.

"Latios, Latias, let's end this, Luster Purge and help out with Psychic!" I commanded in victory, deciding to finish the match with the combo I used a while ago.

"Electivire, Protect! Magmortar, go behind Electivire!" Paul commanded, but to no avail.

Electivire was pretty hurt badly, he attempted to use Protect but it failed, Latios already charged in, glowing whitish pink with the help of Latias' Psychic.

Finally, Latios hit it's mark, Electivire and Magmortar was pretty hit badly and soon fainted.

"Electivire and Magmortar is unable to battle! Which means the winner goes to our school champion, Ash Ketchum!" the announcer yelled.

The crowd went on an uproar, probably louder than before, the two eons reverted back to their original forms and went towards me and tackled me into a hug, Pikachu was also outbalanced but we all laughed at our accomplishment.

I also see Paul returning back his fainted pokemon and walked towards me.

"That was a fine battle." Paul said while walking.

"It was, you gave me a challenge." I replied back, then I noticed a guy also came towards his back with his Lycanroc.

"I wouldn't battle him anyways if I we're you Paul." the guy behind him said and laughed.

"Shut up Cross, I just wanted to battle legendary pokemons, as well as a Legend trainer." He snapped back, Cross just snickered.

"Anyways, I'm sorry I barged in here, Calem is right, he really did lose on a worthy challenger." He said and offered his hand.

"You know, you interrupted me during my task, but that's okay anyways." I replied and accepted his hand, then once again, the crowd errupted in cheers.

And I might have to see Lillie after this, also the phenomenon a while ago, I might ask Professor about what happened, hopefully he's watched the battle.
