Paul's POV

I looked at the guy in front of me, I don't know but I feel like I'm trembling now, this guy as a Latios and a Latias!

The guy stared at me coldly, I acted up my passive emotion, I noticed that there wasn't a tag above him, but all of that was answered as the tag suddenly appeared above him, as well as the pokemons beside him.

'Pikachu - Lv. 95'

A pokemon level that high already?! I stared at the tag blankly. I can also notice Cross behind me that he's staring at the guy that and his face says that he'll regret battling this trainer.

And also one thing I noticed, what the hell is a Legend rank?! I thought Masters are the highest level since the champions have that, which I noticed some time ago while meeting Cynthia.

This seems a whole new thing to me, I didn't even realized that the school champion here has pokemon leveled really high, and not to mention, having legendaries on his side.

On the stands.

Lillie and the others were now staring at Ash and seems that they're looking at the new Ash, they were astounded at the beautiful sight of the two legendary eons on the battlefield, hovering beside Ash magnificently.

"Ash has..." Mallow started breaking off the silence, as they are unable to believe that in such a short period of time he's able to catch two one hundred leveled pokemons, and at the same time, legendaries.

"Yeah, look at him now..." Sophocles muttered, having a hard time to describing the excitement he has right now.

"Lillie, your Ash seems really strong now." Lana said and slyly smiled at her, that made me blush madly and tried to cover her flustered face, but to no avail.

"Look at her being proud of her boyfriend." Mallow teased, Lillie can't now really control it, until she hushed Mallow's blabbering mouth, that made her calm a bit.

"Guys just stop," Lillie said and sighed. "But yeah, he's gotten pretty stronger, I should be proud at that."

"That's good." Sophocles said and smiled.

Kiawe just stared at Ash with awe, and his eyes grew motivated as he sees the legendaries beside him, his eyes saying that he'll have a battle against him once this is all done.

Ash's POV

"Since the school champion is here, he'll decided what match will it be." The referee announced, as he raised both flags on both sides.

He was silent, as his hair covered the upper part of his face.

"It'll be a two versus two match, if both parties are unable to battle, then the battle is over." I stated, the announcer nodded.

"You heard the champion, this will be a two versus two battle between the school champion Ash and the challenger Paul!" The referee yelled.

"Trainers, please get your pokemons ready." The referee requested, Paul was now holding up two pokeballs on his hand.

"Trainers, release your pokemon!" The referee shouted, just by that, Paul was the one to let his pokemons out.

"Electivire, Magmortar, standby for battle!" Paul yelled as he tossed two capsules up, revealing the two heavy pokemons.

I stared with no emotion as the two appeared on the battlefield, they cried loudly like they're owning the battlefield.

"Latios, Latias." I calmly said, the moment I said their names, they quickly hovered in the battlefield, and the crowd went on an uproar.

"So the champion decided to battle with the his two eon pokemons! What will be the outcome of this battle!" The announcer yelled.

"Battle, begin!" The referee called out.

"Electivire, Thunderbolt! Magmortar, Flamethrower!" Paul quickly yelled, going on offensive already I see.

"You can easily dodge them you two." I said to the siblings, they nodded in response.

The two fired their Thunderbolt and Flamethrower respectively but using Latios' and Latias' speed, they easily manuevered the attacks.

"Dragon Pulse." I said, they nodded and then charged towards Electivire and Magmortar head on, before unleashing their powerful Dragon Pulses.

The attacks hit both and was taken aback, but I'm surprised at the defense status they have, there goes victory.

Paul was a shocker, he stared at the two eons angrily, much to my amusement.

"Electivire, use Rock Tomb, Magmortar, heat up the rock with your Fire Blast!" Paul suddenly yelled.

Just then, Electivire summoned a giant rock, sized half of the battlefield I think, but what's more interesting is that it was heated up by Magmortar's Fire Blast, now I have to think fast

"Latias, quickly use Psychic on Latios, Latios you use Luster Purge and smash that rock into pieces." I quickly commanded.

Electivire released Rock Tomb and was headed towards the two eon pokemons, Latios charged in and glowed bright white, while Latias supported Latios by engulfing himself in a psychic barrier.

Latios hit the rock and was scattered into pieces, but didn't barely took any damage due to the psychic barrier that prevents him to get inflicted, pretty much a quick thinker.

"Latios, Latias, redirect the scattered rocks to the two with your Psychic." I commanded the two.

"Quick Electivire! In front and use Protect!" Paul quickly yelled as he heard my command.

I forgot Electivires can use Protect.

Latios' and Latias' eyes glowed bright pink and then the rocks around them hovered by themselves, and was thrown towards the two, but Electivire was quick enough to go in front and use it's Protect, dismissing my attack.

I was amused that this guy can think, but nevertheless, the battle must go on.

"Magmortar, stand by there and ready your Solarbeam, Electivire, buy time and use Thunderbolt!" Paul quickly ordered.

"Latias, Latios, let's go offensive, Latias use Dragon Pulse and distract Electivire, Latios, focus on Magmortar and use your Luster Purge!" I commanded the two, Latias and Latios nodded and then executed the plan.

Electivire was in front of Magmortar while Magmortar's cannons is somewhat collecting energy, and I can't let that happen.

Latias charged in towards Electivire and used Dragon Pulse on it, but it was deflected by it's Thunderbolt, Latios was about to hit Magmortar but Electivire shifted it's position and blocked Latios with it's body, Electivire winced in pain but still got up.

Talking about a really high defense status pokemon.

"Let it rip Magmortar!" Paul yelled. Magmortar did it's job and released the Solarbeam towards the duo.

"Latios, Latias, Dragon Pulse!" I quickly commanded, Solarbeam is about to hit it's mark when it was deflected with two Dragon Pulses, but I can still say that Latios and Latias got damage from it.

The dust kicked in, the collision resulted a huge smoke on the battlefield, we waited for the dust to disperse and I can see the Electivire and Magmortar still standing, and Latios and Latias still hovering.

"Guess we're still in tie." Paul commented as he closed his eyes.

"But you made me think to push further." I replied as I held up the mega bracelet on my wrist, his eyes dilated as he saw the keystone on my wrist.

"There's no way..." Paul manage to croak out.

"You have to deal with the consequences as you battle a legend ranked trainer." I stated and pressed the keystone.

"Latias, let's do this, let's break the limits, mega evolve!" I yelled but one thing, possibly the whole battlefield was about to explode.

I was expecting a bright light coming from just Latias, but instead, Latios was also engulfed in a bright light, and the two undergo mega evolution, we just stared quietly at the two and when the mega evolution, I saw two purple jets in front of me, which I just expected one.

"Wait, what happened?" Was the only words I manage to say.
