13 Facts About Myself

I was challenged by LizPer7, who I shall now summon as punishment.

Here are the rules, because it's in the rules to put add the rules and I am a rule follower.

-You must post all of the rules (check)
-You must say thirteen things about yourself. (You don't say?)
-You must do it within a week
-You must put in in one of your own books, not in the comments of another book.
-When you are done, tag thirteen people (well it said fifteen, but I'm lazy and it's thirteen facts).

Let's get to it!

ONE
I am, as my cousin likes to say, a human being of the female variety.

TWO
That one was too easy. What you probably don't know, is that everyone in my family has a name that begins with N, first, middle, or last. My first name is Elizabeth, so obviously, it's not that one. It's my middle name. Bonus points to anyone who can guess it in the comments.

THREE
For all intents and purposes, my name is Liz, but my friends call me Lizard. If you've seen my profile, you'll know that I am also a wizard. Thus, Lizard the Wizard was born.

FOUR
Speaking of born, I am an aunt. My brother, who is eight years older, has a daughter named...wait for it... Rosemary Elizabeth ***

FIVE
I have never broken a single bone in my body. It's very weird considering I absolutely adored climbing trees when I was younger. I have fallen out of many a tree in my day.

SIX
I am allergic to hazelnuts and shellfish. I met my match when I tried a slice of toast with (Dun Dun Dun) peanut butter on it. Not only do I not like peanut butter, I will (probably, maybe, possibly) die if I consume it.

SEVEN
Moving on, this one is real embarrassing. Is this really what you wanted? I didn't learn how to ride a bike until I was in the fifth grade (I was 10 for those of you unfamiliar with American public school systems).

EIGHT
I have a 4.0 GPA, volunteer at the library teaching children to read, and am in three after school clubs. It's all because I care about getting into college (University), even though I still don't know where I'm going.

NINE
My parents both work in the medical field, my older brother is a hotshot engineer, and everyone thinks I'm stupid because I want to teach high school English. XD

TEN
My personal role model is Eleanor Roosevelt. She was a powerful woman who had an important role in our country's history. She did many things for the good of others, putting her comfort after their needs. She was polite, graceful and refined, but she was also very strong and hard working. I aspire to be like her and achieve a small shred of her greatness.

ELEVEN
I was diagnosed with depression at age thirteen. I do take prescription drugs for it. Most people don't believe me when I tell them, because I am a generally happy and positive person. I just have some days where I don't want to get up. It feels like everything is going wrong and I want to crawl under a rock forever. Let's get real serious here, if any of you guys want to talk to me about anything, emotions, stress, important events, anything at all, my door is always open. I strive to help others and I will do my best to assist you in your endeavors to the best of my ability, without judgement.

TWELVE
I have extremely curly hair, and it's red. Cue the jokes. Everyone says they want hair like mine, but I'll tell you. It's so much of a mess that most of the time, I don't even bother. I'll just comb it and throw it up so it's out of my face. Imagine Meredith from the Pixar movie Brave. That's my hair, except mine's closer to actual red than orange, sort of a copper-y color.

THIRTEEN
I collect stuffed animals. Every year, on my birthday, I have tons of people that either give me a book or a stuffed animal (so I guess I collect books too). I have 146 stuffed animals at the moment (I just donated 23 of them to the youth center). That's almost as many Pokémon as there are in the first generation. Oh my gosh! I had 169 of them, the square root of 169 is thirteen, this is fact number thirteen! Funny how things work out sometimes.

Bonus fact: I have an entire wall in my bedroom dedicated to housing my books. A few shelves are full of only children's books, which I sometimes read to children, but most of them are mine. I purchased roughly two-thirds of them from online and my local secondhand store, and the other fifty or so books were given to me by friends, family, or anyone who had a book they didn't want. If I receive duplicates, I give them to the library for other people to enjoy.

I hope to see you all soon. Don't hesitate to hit me up in the comments or by private message at MuffinLove2264.

Sincerely,
Lizard the Wizard :p

Lol, forgot to tag people!
