Your view on mainstream music.

Okay well I normally hate boy bands because even if the music is terrible there female fans will murder you if you say they are terrible because they love them. The main reason is normally just because they're hot.

However lately I have been listening to five seconds of summer and I really enjoy there music but I don't know who any of the band members are and I only slightly know how they look like from music videos. I'm not obsessed in fact all the songs I know are really mainstream.

Other mainstream music in this century kinda bothers me because it's never appropriate for the age demographic they are getting and that bugs me. I also hate when radio stations play it because then more people know this horrible song.

Here is a story to explain what I mean. I have a friend who learned Spanish in kindergarten and her mom only speaks Spanish and her dad speaks some English. One day she was singing a song and a word came up that wasn't appropriate at all. So I told her that she shouldn't sing that song or at least skip over that part when she does. She thought it was okay because she heard it on the radio, in stores, etc.
