How about power rangers?

This team is from an alternate universe where instead of good the members of this team where brainwashed and broken down to be evil personified. Instead the masks they wear become their true selves and the people they used to be are locked deep away inside. So instead of being on the side of light, their on the side of darkness. You can turn them back to the side of the light if you want but it HAS to be after they fight the next power rangers. Now the evil power rangers I'm suggesting can be from either fan made or from the actual series as long as their the proper color.
