Vox chuckled as he saw Alastor and his new pet through his cameras. On a big screen, Vox could see everything and anything he wanted.

"Seems like he has a new playmate"

Valentino said behind Vox. Vox spun around in his chair to face his comrade.

"But not for long"

He said with a laugh as he and the Vee came up with a brilliant plan to screw with Alastor's life.

**Next Day**

Alastor waited patiently outside Violet's door. He was waiting for her to come out on her own instead of him barging in but it's been hours. He swallowed the lump in his throat and knocked on the door, to his surprise Violet didn't answer. He slightly opened the door and to his shock, she was gone.

'Where could she have gone?'

He thought and with a snap of his finger he sent his shadow companion to look around the hotel for any sign of Violet. He then looked around in the room and saw a big mess as if there was a struggle. Alastor frowned before looking out the broken window and saw a blood trail.

'Someone's got her but who? The only person I know who is stupid enough and brave enough to do this is....Vox'

He thought angrily before disappearing into his shadow and headed towards the Vee's building.

**With Violet**

"I don't understand aren't you scared?"

Vox asked the girl sitting on the chair in the middle of the room tied up. Violet simply raised an eyebrow at him.

"It's funny that you think you're scary but Mister, I've seen scary and you don't have his smile"

She said nonchalantly causing Vox to growl in annoyance.

"Oh I see, Alastor has you wrapped around his finger but you know something he doesn't even care about you!"

"And you think I want him to care about me? Then you're out of your freaking mind"

Violet said annoyed before rolling her eyes. Vox scoffs.

"He's not going to come for you"

He said quietly.

"Oh please Mister don't go breaking my heart"

She said just as quietly before letting out a sigh as she looked down at the ground. Suddenly the sound of glass breaking caught Violet's curiosity as she looked up to see giant black tentacles destroying the inside of the building. It soon stopped as the smoke cleared and Alastor appeared. He quickly made his way to Violet.

"Are you hurt?"

He asked but Violet just put her head down. Alastor slightly growls at the lack of communication but quickly sees a slash on her leg with dry blood. He quickly untied her with a snap of his finger, he was about to carry her bridal style when Vox came in.

"Looks like you do have a thing for your little toy"

"This is none of your concern"

"Oh but it is my dear old pal, you've broken her down"

"What are you talking about?"

"Why do you think she's not even crying? She's a sociopath, she doesn't feel pity for anyone not even for herself"

He said causing Alastor to look down at Violet in his arm and it's true. She's unfazed by everything around her.

'She's changed'

He thought sadly.

"Face it, you broke her. You think I might have caused her damage, she was already damaged to begin with"

He said with a laugh. Alastor growled in annoyance as he set Violet back down on the chair and attacked Vox.

**Few Hours Later**

Alastor and Violet soon found themselves back at the hotel. Alastor placed Violet on his bed as he looked over her wound. He began to clean it and bandage it up.

"Now it can heal nicely"

He said quietly to himself as he looked up at Violet who still hadn't said a word.

"What's wrong? Talk to me"

He said softly as he placed a hand on her shoulder but she immediately began to shake in fear. He quickly removed his hand before letting out a sigh.

"Listen, I know we never see eye to eye, I hurt you, you cry, I hurt you again and you cry again. I want this cycle to stop. When you got sick, it honestly scared me. I didn't realize how bad I was hurting you and I came to feel unfamiliar feelings. It scares me but it excited me. What I'm trying to say is that I've grown fond of you."

He said as he looked up at Violet who remained quiet. It soon hit him, she's just obeying.

"You can speak freely"

He said. Violet then lifted up her head and looked at her Master.

"I didn't fear that flathead because I knew you would rescue me. I'm yours remember like you said your slave, your pet."

She said quietly causing Alastor to cringed at the memory.

"But I wasn't thinking straight before"

"Please, I just want to go home"

"This is home"

He said. Violet sadly put her head down before letting out a sob. Alastor was confused, he just confessed his feelings for her and he rescued her and yet she didn't respond to his feelings.

"Don't you have feelings for me?"

He asked. Violet sniffed before looking back at him like he was crazy.

"Are you insane?"

"I..."

"You're a monster, you hurt me, you put my feelings down, you choke me, you pull my hair, you made me starve to death and what? Just because you rescued me, you think I'm going to give you a kiss and fall in love with you and think you're my hero."

She said sadly.

"You treat me like a dog, I did everything you say and you still won't let me go. I obeyed you and that still isn't enough. How could I love a monster like you when all you did was hurt me"

She said before looking down. Alastor felt his heart break and immediately stood up and began to pace back and forth, not knowing what to do or say. His anger got the best of him. He marched up to Violet and roughly grabbed her from her throat and forced her to look up at him.

"I'll show you a monster"

He said angrily.
