"You say you love me but you keep hurting me. This isn't love"

Violet said sadly as she watched Alastor standing above her. Red eyes glowing bright as he stared down at her with a smile.

"If you have a problem just talk to me but just don't put your hands on me, please"

She said as she slowly stood up on her feet. Alastor turned around to face her.

"Since when did you get so brave?"

He asked as he tilted his head watching her get up.

"Since I realized I don't deserve at least half the crap I deal with. You're no different from the men I dealt with back on earth, demon or not. I may be in hell but this is my heaven"

She said sternly as she stood up tall.

"You're comparing me, the most powerful demon overlord to a mere mortal?"

He asked while laughing but Violet remained unfazed.

"But you are still just a man. You are a male aren't you?"

She asked causing Alastor to narrow his eyes at her.

"Are you asking for a death wish?"

He asked taking a step forward.

"Then kill me. Come on, just do it"

She said pressing Alastor's buttons. Alastor then made a fist with his hand as he summoned a black tentacle to wrap itself around Violet's neck causing her to choke.

"It will be easy my dear, like breaking a toothpick"

He said with a slight growl.

"You h-heartless son of a b-bitch"

She said with each gasp. Alastor squeezed her throat just a little bit tighter before releasing her causing her to fall at the lack of oxygen. She panted trying to catch her breath as she turned to look up at him in confusion.

"W-what...?"

"You're still useful to me darling. Despite that disrespectful mouth of yours"

He said turning his back to her.

"No. No!"

She shouted causing Alastor to look back at her in amusement as she stood up once more.

"It ends here, I will not be your doll anymore!"

"But you are ha-ha. Don’t know if I want to kill you or kiss you"

He said as he made his way closer to her as he put his hand on the wall that was close to her face but she stood her ground.

"Well then let me make it easier for you, kill me"

She hissed. Alastor scoffs with a smile as he brushes her hair behind her ear.

"You're so dramatic"

He said punching her in the gut causing her to double over in pain. Alastor fixed up his coat before casually walking away, making sure to lock the door behind him. As Alastor stood in the hallway, he could hear Violet banging on the door, screaming.

"Open this door, you selfish bastard. Let me out!!"

She shouted behind the door.

"Can't let that disturb the residents"

He said putting up a silent spell to muffle the screaming and banging. Alastor then teleported his way down to the lobby. He made his way to the bar where Angel and Husk were talking.

"Hiya Smiles, so how are you and Dolly?"

Angel asked with a smirk.

"She's gotten vocal"

He said quietly as he signaled Husk for a drink.

"I could tell, we heard the screaming and banging"

He said with a chuckle.

"Why is that funny?"

Alastor asked curiously causing Angel and Husk to laugh together.

"It means she cares, dumb nuts. If she gets mad at you, it means she still care. So worry when she doesn't get mad that means she doesn't care"

He explained causing Alastor to think.

"Are you sure?"

He asked casually trying not to get too excited at the news.

"Of course, find what you love and let it kill you, that's what I always say"

He said nonchalantly.

'So Violet actually has sincere feelings for me, is that why she's talking back to me'

He thought happily before drinking his shot and immediately gave them a nod before departing back upstairs. Alastor removed the spell and was surprised to hear silence. He opened the door to his room and saw Violet standing in front of the window looking out. She slowly turns around to face him.

"Well, what do you want now?"

She asked crossing her arms over her chest. Alastor closed the door behind him before making his way to Violet.

"Don't you dare touch...."

She was cut off as Alastor dipped her before pressing his lips to hers. Violet began to fight back trying to push him off but soon melted into the kiss. Alastor soon pulled away with a smile and Violet looked at him in confusion.

"I love you but maybe next time you won't be so lucky when I see you talking to vox again"

He growled as he pulled Violet upright. Violet looked at him confused.

"You can't trust anyone down here my love"

He warned.

"Including you?"

She asked narrowing her eyes at him causing him to laugh.

"Especially me, sweetheart"

He said as his voice deepens.

"Hmmm"

She said annoyed. Alastor then made his way to the mirror and began to fix his bow tie.

"Oh, I'm going to miss getting to let off steam"

He said causing Violet to frown.

"What do you mean?"

"Well there's going to be changes between us my sweet dear, yes indeed there is"

"As in..."

She said trailing off looking at him with a glare as he turned around to face her.

"Well you no longer have to stay cooked up in this room..."

"Does this mean I get my old room back?"

She asked immediately.

"Ha....no"

He said causing Violet to groan.

"But you are free to do whatever you wish my dear but at the end of the day you will always come back to me"

He stated sincerely.

"Tempting, now what's the catch?"

"No catch my dear"

"So I get to actually be myself?"

She asked making sure she heard correctly.

"Indeed"

He said. Violet didn't know whether to laugh or cry before immediately embracing Alastor into a hug.

"Thank you. I...I love you"

She whispered. Alastor returned the embrace with a smile.

"I love you too, my dear"

He said just as quietly.
