Putting my guilt aside, I walked up to Steven. I tapped his shoulder and he turned around to see who I was. When he saw me, he stopped, frozen like a statue, most likely out of surprise. He continued to stare at me for a few minutes and the made me nervous. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he said ,"Lapis, is that you? I've missed you, but it's been more than 10 years since I last saw you, how'd you know where I was?" I said to him," Of course it's me, silly! I just followed my gut and it told me you'd be here, in beach city!"

        Once upon a time, I thought us meeting again would be great, but i guess I was wrong. He looked at me and said that I couldn't stay out here for too long. He said that the people of beach city hadn't forgiven me for deserting them in a bad time, and that I needed to earn their forgiveness.
