Slowly his face started getting nearer to her neck...she could feel his breath at her neck but before his fangs could touch her skin the door slammed open by someone calling her name.

"Nandu"..... Aayat slammed the door open worried written all over her face...witnessing Nandini standing alone at the middle of washroom.

Nandini opened her eyes to see no one around her except for Aayat. She looked around wondering where did that devil go but having no answer she looked at Aayat.

"Are you all right?".... Aayat ran up to her holding her hand.

Nandini nodded in response as she was still lost.

"Where did he go?"...she muttered.

"Who?".... Aayat looked at her.

"Nothing".... She shrugged off.

They together headed back to exit finding Navya waiting with a cold expression...totally done with them.

"Bubblegum...wondering where did I go?".... Nandini heard a voice in her head.

Panicking she looked everywhere but could only saw people busy with their work engaged in their own life.

"You cannot see me".... She heard again.

She felt terrifying she kept jerking her hand to make that sound go but every time she did that she can hear his monstrous laugh clearly.

"Nandu are you okay?".... Navya asked looking at her.

Not able to respond properly she just nodded looking lost as her all focus was on the voice she heard in her brain.

"I will see you at night bubblegum".... This was last thing she heard as her mind went blank for a second making her stop at her path earning worried looks from Navya and Aayat.

"Nandu...what's wrong you look so pale".... Aayat looked at her with concern face.

"Yes...I just want to rest I am tired"... Nandini said weakly.

What was the voices...why am I hearing such things. Am I being affected by the bite he made...having thousands of question she walked in front of her mirror wanted to view her bruise but to her surprise there was no sign of bruise in her neck.

As if there was no wound before...she placed her fingers over that part feeling nothing but just her smooth skin.

"Did he healed them?".... She asked to herself looking at her own figure in the mirror.

"Yes I did healed them"..... He spoke leaning to the window wall.

Nandini jumped in fear looking into his dark brown eyes as sudden coldness engulf her again.

"Why?"..... She managed to asked him.

He didn't responded instead a smile form to his lips but quickly he hid them behind his smirk taking slow steps towards her.

"Because I don't want my prey to be wounded"..... He said standing right in front of him.

Hearing the word prey her eyes watered a little making her heart sink down and down.

"Have you fallen for me?".... His another question make her choke.

She looked at him with her wide eyes not able to believe what just he said.
She kept shut cause she knew he was right... She did have feelings for him every time she sees him make her stomach jump and heart to beat faster then ever. Even though all he need from her was blood but that never made Nandini to hate him.

Yes she did feel hurt and betrayed but she was helpless cause her heart didn't asked her permission before talking for him.

"You don't need to say... I can see in your eyes clearly.. I can feel your heart fully and the way your body shiver under my touch is enough for me to get an idea about your feelings"... He smirked enjoying to see tension in her body.

It was true he felt nothing for her but he felt a need to protect her. And how can he not protect her she was her only source of his life....she was her oxygen... Her blood was only one he needed to survive. He was sensitive with other blood except for her if can't get to feed on her he will die out of thirst cause now he was addicted to her taste and now he want nothing but her.

"Never....how can I fall for a devil soul".... Nandini's tone was bitter and sharp.

"I hate you for hurting me always...I wish I could never see you".... She sounded sassy this time trying to make him believe of her lying words.

"You need punishment".... With that he pulled her harshly and soon his lips were touching her neck nibbling imto her skin..he sucked for long time as Nandini breath hitched with his tongue around her skin...he had never kissed her skin before all he did was biting, sucking and flew off.

But today he sucked on her skin using only his lips no involvement of teeth or his fangs...few gentle kisses leading into sucking as he wanted to mark her again but this time only by giving pleasure no pain just pleasure.
