Right now, Nagisa and the others were sitting in the police station as they were talking to members of the Azuma family. Since the enemy wasn't human, the Anti-Demon Corps would handle apprehending the culprit while the police would continue with tracking and encirclement. Once the police made more progress, Nagisa and the group would be informed. Soon it was just the subjugation squad in the room as they tried to think of what to do next. Since the rest of the squad was unfamiliar with Yokohama, Mira had an idea.

"This is the first time you three came to Yokohama, right? Come with me, I know a place that can help."

~A few minutes later~

"Woah, Yuuki, we're really high up!"

"This is the first time we ever used something like this."

Mira had suggested the group take this ride so that Nagisa, Kyouka and Yuuki could get familiar with Yokohama. Soon Kyouka reached into her pockets as she handed Nagisa, Yuuki, and Mira some candy she had with her.

"Same as ever, still carrying around candy. You got that habit from Riu-san, didn't ya?"

"Actually, how long did you two know each other? You two seem to have some history."

"We're like you and Wakura over there. We joined the corps at the same time. I was undefeated in Okinawa, I thought of myself as the strongest, even without my ability."

Nagisa and Yuuki could see what was going on. Mira and Kyouka were rivals, there was no doubt about that. Suddenly the boys saw the two chiefs stand up as their chests were pressed against each other while they stared each other down.

"The one who will be sitting on the commander seat will be me!!!"

"No, it'll be me."

"These girls are so similar it's almost scary."

As the two boys thought the same thing, Nagisa pulled Mira away as Yuuki did the same with Kyouka. The two boys looked at each other as they nodded in unison. It seemed like they would have to take charge and break up any challenges like this. Especially when they're this high up from the ground.

~A few minutes later~
After surveying Yokohama, Mira took the rest of the group to a nearby restaurant. Yuuki and Kyouka were enjoying the food a lot as it had strong flavors. However, the group were more surprised when they saw what Nagisa was eating.

"This is his fourth time eating that spicy mapo tofu."

"By the way, buddy (Yuuki), I want to make this clear. The reason I chose Kyouka for this mission has nothing to do with who comes out on top. I chose her because I believe i'd crush our enemies with her by my side. I do want to be commander, but I won't use underhanded shit. If you want to make Kyouka commander, then don't be rash. Our lives come first."

"Yes!!!!"

Soon Mira's attention shifted towards Nagisa. She actually had two reasons for asking him to join. The first being that she believed in his potential after seeing the results he produced with his hard work. The second reason was more personal. Soon she looked at Kyouka, as if wondering if she mentioned it to Nagisa yet, only for her to shake her head.

"So he doesn't know yet. If I remember correctly, Tsutako was part of the Yamazaki clan and her father married a Tomioka woman. Shortly after her brother was born, Tsutako's father died and her mother remarried to someone else and the man agreed to change his  family name to Tomioka so any trace of Yamazaki wouldn't be noticed. With Tsutako gone, it's only a matter of time before the Yamazaki make their move towards Tomioka Nagisa."

~Nighttime~
The group was now inside of a hotel. At first the rooms were going to be split up between guys and girls, however if they were attacked, it would be more beneficial for Yuuki and Kyouka to be in the same room. So, it was now just Mira and Nagisa in a room as the boy was lying down on the bed.

"So we just gotta wait for more progress on the police's part. Since they're part of the Azuma family, it shouldn't take long."

As Nagisa said this, he decided to go use the bathroom as he drunk a bit too much water at dinner. The moment he reached for the door knob of the bathroom, he saw the door open up as Mira was naked while trying to put on her bathrobe.

"Sorry bout that. Guess I should've knocked. This one is on me."

"N-no. This isn't a big de-"

Just as Mira said this, she accidentally stepped on part of her bathrobe as she fell down. Right now, her naked body was on top of Nagisa. While the young woman's face was bright red, Nagisa was mentally smirking as he thought he was the luckiest man in the world tonight.

"So, is this the reason why you got us dinner first?"

"N-no, it's not like that. Let's just get to bed."

Hearing this, Nagisa helped Mira up as he began to lie down in bed, no longer needing to use the bathroom. However, as he did this, he felt Mira wrapping her arms around him as she hugged him close. While her face was bright red from still being naked, she felt like she would lose in some way if she let something like this get to her.

"Tomioka, do you know why I chose you to be part of this squad?"

"Because you heard of what happened at the Azuma Banquet?"

"No, not that specifically. After we first met for the chief assembly, I had this feeling you would only get stronger after making it that far. As time went by, you exceeded expectations. I chose you for the same reason I chose Kyouka. I believe our enemies can't possibly win with you at our side. You're strong, Tomioka Nagisa."

"Tough on the outside but a heart of gold inside. Heh, to think the Second Unit chief had an adorable side. Fine then, I'll prove your trust wasn't misplaced, Kamiu-"

"Just Mira is fine."

"Only if you call me Nagisa from now on."

~The Next Day~
After receiving info from the police, the subjugation squad was seen rushing to an abandoned plaza. As they did made it to the scene, they looked ahead as they were ready to fight whatever was waiting for them.

As the group were ready to fight, a single figure was seen standing on top of a roof of a nearby building as her eyes were placed on Nagisa. A smile soon formed on her face as a snake with a yellow arrow on its head slithered around her arm before becoming a snake-tattoo again.

"To think the boy I called human debris would be with the Anti-Demon Corps. It almost makes me crave an experiment."
