~The next day~
"It's time. The greatest rival of my life is ready to face me."

Nagisa looks forward as he wore a serious expression on his face. The moment he walked forward, he was now in a place more brutal than a battlefield. A place that burned hotter than a player who whales on a Gacha banner and still only gets the bare minimum. Right now, while the girls were asleep, Nagisa was in the kitchen as he puts on a black apron. The moment he saw his rice cooker was finished doing its task, Nagisa got to work.

"First I'll start with the sauce."

As Nagisa said this, he washed his hands first as he proceeded to get the ingredients he required. First he chopped up the garlic into small slices as he sauted them in olive oil. Afterwards, he opened a can of diced tomatoes and added them in along with crushed consommé.

"Next we add salt, pepper, and sugar. Melt some butter in it and the sauce is done."

As Nagisa was finished stirring the sauce around with his wooden spoon, he went on to the next step. After washing his hands again, Nagisa grabbed his knife and used it to coarsely chop an onion and thinly slice some mushrooms. Afterwards, he chopped some chicken thighs as he now had everything ready for the chicken rice.

Soon Nagisa began to saute the chicken in a frying pan. The moment he was done, he added the onions, mushrooms, and began to saute some more. Next he added salt, coarsely ground pepper, crushed consommé, and ketchup. Afterwards, he began to mix it thoroughly to temper the sourness.

"Next I'll add the white rice and fold it into the mixture. Then mix in the sauce, taking care not to let it burn. Now the final part is the omelette itself."

After cracking an egg and using a whisk to beat it, Nagisa was entering the final stages. First, he heated some butter and olive oil in a frying pan. Secondly, he added a dash of salt then poured in the beaten egg. As he mixed it around with some chopsticks, he shook the frying pan and brought it to a half cooked state. Afterwards he slid the food over to one side of the frying pan, adjusted the shape, and kept flipping it over until the egg was on top.

"Now to slide it onto the chicken rice. Add the sauce....and done."

The moment he finished his creation, Nagisa saw that Tenka and Yachiho just entered the room. Truth be told, they came here due to smelling something delicious. Seeing this, Nagisa handed them two plates of the omurice he made.

"Here, eat up. I made enough for everyone."

"Thanks, Tomioka-san. However, could you wake up Sahara? She's still asleep and if she doesn't wake up now, she'll practically sleep the day away."

"Sure thing, Tenka-san."

As Nagisa said this and walked out the room, Yachiho and Tenka ate their omurice. The moment they took their first bite, their eyes widen in shock. As the Chief and second-in-command looked at each other, then back to their food, they both shared the same thought.

Tomioka Nagisa has upgraded from Janitor to Chef.

"Wakasa-san? Where are you? Your food is gonna get cold."

As Nagisa looked around for his superior, he heard a light snore coming from the couch. When he walked over, he saw Sahara was fast asleep as she was in nothing but her underwear and sports bra. Seeing this, Nagisa grabbed a blanket and tried to cover her up. However, the young man was taken by surprise when the girl grabbed him and hugged him into her rather large chest.

"O-ow!!! Wakasa-san!!!! Let go!!!"

"You....... won't get away....."

As Nagisa was struggling to get out of Sahara's grasp, he noticed her pillow was on the floor. Nagisa tried to escape from her grip as he didn't feel like being a pillow at the moment, but sadly he couldn't get out of her grasp. The moment Nagisa broke free from her arms, Sahara wrapped her legs around the back of Nagisa's head. As this happened, Nagisa's usual neutral expression was replaced with a red face as he was now passed out with one single phrase going through his mind.

"Such misfortune........."

~20 Minutes later~
"I'm sorry, Nagi-chan!!!"

"I already forgave you so stop bringing it up, please."

After the incident from earlier, Sahara kept apologizing to Nagisa after what happened. As the two of them walked back to where the others were, Nagisa saw Tenka waiting for him. Seeing that everyone was accounted for, Tenka spoke up.

"Tomioka-san, after staying in Mato and doing an excellent job caring for us, you're getting your just desserts. As promised, we located Wakara Yuuki for you. He is currently the caretaker for the 7th Unit of the Anti-Demon Corps. He's currently out with the chief of that units, Uzen Kyouka. She already told the rest of her squad of your arrival, so I'll be sending you there to wait for Yuuki's return."

"Tenka-san, thank you."

"But i have one question. What do you plan to do afterwards?"

Afterwards. That's right, the reason Nagisa was here was because he got separated from Yuuki and he wanted to find him then go home. But what will he do afterwards? Go back to school? Go back to just being a nobody who doesn't know what direction to take in life? Seeing his confused expression, Tenka merely smiled as she touched Nagisa's shoulder.

"You don't need an answer right now. Sometimes just searching for one is enough, just make sure it's your choice and you won't regret it."

The moment Tenka said this, both Nagisa and herself were already at the 7th Unit's base. Soon Tenka waved Nagisa goodbye as she teleported away. As Nagisa turned around, he looked at the base of the 7th Unit. Yuuki was definitely staying here considering how it was so clean he could see his own reflection. Before Nagisa had a chance to knock on the door, he saw a little girl opening it for him as she greeted him with a smile.

"Oh, you must be the guest the chief and Yuuki mentioned. Nice to meet you, i'm
Ookawakamura Nei, but please, just call me Nei."

"Adorable...."

"The other's are waiting inside. Let's go, Tomioka-san."

"W-wait a minute."

As Nei was holding Nagisa's left hand and walking him inside of the 7th Unit's base, he saw two people standing near the living room area in their uniforms. While one of them was wearing a smug expression on her face, the other one had a look of disdain present on her face.

"Oh, I see there was another guy making himself comfortable in the corps. That's hilarious! The name is Suruga Shushu."

"So it really is another man. Listen up, just because you're a guest doesn't give you the right to do anything indecent!!! Anyways, Azuma Himari, at your service."

A blank expression was on Nagisa's face as he received this introduction. Truth be told, it felt very similar to when he first met Tenka and her own unit. With a sigh escaping from his lips, Nagisa only had one thought.

"I need to save 500 yen everytime I meet an Azuma and they're rude. I'll probably be able to own Tokyo at this rate."
