Suddenly Kyouka lunged towards Nagisa. As Kyouka clenched her fist, Nagisa noticed her right leg moving forward. Suddenly Kyouka tried to kick the boy's right calf as she wanted to use her clenching fist as a distraction. However, she was surprised to see Nagisa was nowhere to be seen.

"You've......."

"....got really good instincts, Kyouka."

Just as he said this, Nagisa slammed his right foot onto Kyouka as the young woman was smashed into the ground. Suddenly the chief of the seventh unit rolled away to avoid being stabbed by Nagisa's left hand-blade. After swiftly getting back on her feet, Kyouka tried to slam her right fist into Nagisa's stomach.

The chief was shocked to see that Nagisa caught her fist with his left hand as he had his right hand-blade extended towards her face. However, instead of thrusting his right hand forward, Nagisa suddenly changed it to a fist as Kyouka was punched to the ground. However, the moment he did this, Nagisa felt his chin being kicked by Kyouka's right foot.

Soon both Tenka and Yakumo stopped their spar as they saw the fight between Nagisa and Kyouka. Out of all the chiefs, Kyouka was arguably the strongest one in terms of physicality. Yet right now, she was struggling against a boy with no powers.

Just as Kyouka got on her feet, she felt herself being a little bit lighter. When she looked forward, she saw Nagisa holding her own belt like it was a whip. Suddenly the boy began to swing the belt at Kyouka. As the young woman dodged his strikes, Kyouka noticed how when the belt struck some nearby rocks that it left some deep marks.

However, the moment she dodged, she saw Nagisa already in front of her as he grabbed her face and slammed her into a nearby rock. Shortly afterwards the boy soon slammed her into the ground before kicking her in the stomach and sending her flying away.

"Thank you, Tomioka. It's been awhile since I got to train this hard with such a strong opponent!"

Just as Nagisa swung down the belt, he noticed how the end of it was wrapped around something before it was ripped out of his grasp. When he looked forward, he smiled when he saw Kyouka holding one of the shinai that was stabbed into the ground. Seeing this, Nagisa merely took a deep breath as it looked like he would walk forward.

As soon as the young woman blinked, Kyouka saw how Nagisa was already pulling out the other shinai from the ground. Now both Kyouka and Nagisa held a blade in their hand as they observed each other. Suddenly the two of them dashed towards each other as their weapons began to clash. The two of them aiming for vital areas only for the other counter. Seeing the two fight, Yakumo and Tenka were watching the spar with their interests piqued.

"That guy is pretty good, keeping up with Kyouka like that."

"You think he's keeping up? If anything it looks like Kyou-chin is the one trying to keep up."

This was true in Tenka's eyes for several reasons. First, Nagisa didn't even use his Fist of Flowing Water Crushing Rock. The second being he didn't even attempt to use his Water Breathing with his hands which he is fully capable of doing. And now that he has an actual weapon, he's still not using it. Just what was going on in Nagisa's head.

"The concept. After fighting Yuuki and Himari, I managed to copy the concept of their special attack Branding so I could be able to focus my power in single areas and release it all at once. Once I did that, an idea popped into my head. So show me, Kyouka, the move you used to beat that one-horned shuuki!"

Just as his shinai clashed with Kyouka's, a theory went through Nagisa's head. He copied the concept of Branding with relative ease. Not only that, even the hand-blade technique came to him easily, even though Bang said it took him quite a while to master. Suddenly Nagisa slowed down his swings a bit, seeing this Kyouka took this opening as her chance.

"It's now or never."

Left, right, up, down. Kyouka was striking at Nagisa's body with great speed and power without stop. However, as she did this, Kyouka's eyes widen in shock. Nagisa wasn't even trying to counter or dodge, instead he was just taking the attack. But what shocked her the most wasn't any of this.

"He's not taking any damage?! Worse than that, my Shinai is falling apart with each strike?!"

"Iron body conditioning, something the old man did for me by using Kyokushin Karate as the basis. Everyday, the old man would attack me with all he had. To condition this body to not take damage from just any ordinary attack and still allow me to keep going. Compared to ol-, no compare to Bang's strikes, this is nothing."

The moment he saw an opening, Nagisa punched Kyouka in the gut with his left hand as he sent the girl flying. Soon he began to put all his strength into his legs before he propelled himself forward so fast that he already caught up to her. Kyouka was astonished by this fact.

"That move was almost identical to the move Yuuki used when he has Himari as his master. But he took the concept and made it into something of his own.....wait?!"

Nagisa took a deep breath, focusing all of his strength into his arms. Not only that, he began to change his stance. Right now, this wasn't the stance for Water Breathing. This stance was for a technique Kyouka was all too familiar with.

"My strength, speed, durability. In terms of physical prowess I surpass Kyouka. If she can do this, so can I. The only issue is the difference in body type. Because of this, mine might have a  little less slashes then hers in terms of numbers....but I'll make up for it in raw power and using the speed and movements of Water Breathing."

"The reason he didn't go full power was to observe and see what he can learn from me."

"Chaotic......"

Kyouka couldn't help but scream in pain. Nagisa relentlessly unleashed numerous slashes upon her body with his shinai. While the number of slashes might be different, the speed and power behind it far surpassed hers. Just as Nagisa delivered an upward slash that hit her chin, Kyouka smiled as her body hits the ground.

"Tomioka Nagisa.....just what kind of monster are you?"

~Meanwhile~
"It's important to know the student and what drives them in order to train them properly."

As he said this, Bang began to pour Goo some green tea. The young man took a sip and simply placed the cup back down. The moment he did, Bang noticed how Goo's expression was extremely serious.

"Bang, there is more to that kid than just simply wanting to get stronger. For him to be my secret friend I need to know what makes him tick."

"And I want you to properly train him. That is why I made the deal. In exchange for your help, I will tell you the truth that was hidden from the public. I will tell you about the Mato Cradle Ark Incident, Nagisa's past."
