~Day before the games~
"You want to have a signal?"

As the two of them had just finished training, Yachiho and Nagisa were sitting at a table as they were discussing a plan. Considering the nature of her ability, Yachiho wanted to find a way for her and Nagisa to be on the same page after she manipulates time. While the two of them were deep in thought, Nagisa had an idea form in his head.

"Eyes are the window to the soul."

"Hmmm, what does that have to do with anything?"

"Simple, we'll use our eyes as the signal. Your ability let's you manipulate time, so obviously only you would retain any memories of events that occured before you used your ability. That's why I have a simple method for us to get in sync quickly. After you use your Golden Hour, use these actions to communicate. Blink once if an ally is attacked, blink twice if you are attacked."

"I see. Tomioka, I think we're about to do something amazing.

~Present time~
"Water Breathing, Third Form:Flowing Dance."

Just as Yuuki was tried to avoid Nagisa, Nagisa swings and bends his blade in a winding motion along with his body and dances in a flowing pattern, slicing everything in his path as he chased after Yuuki. Seeing that Yuuki and Himari's attention were on Nagisa, Yachiho fired three bullets at her opponent. Seeing this, Yuuki put all his power into his legs as he jumped high into the air with Himari still on his back.

"We barely dodged th-"

"Water Breathing, Eighth Form:Waterfall Basin!"

The moment Yuuki and Himari were in the air, Nagisa had already leapt upwards. Afterwards, Nagisa swung his sword vertically in a flowing motion which caused Himari and Yuuki to fall back towards the ground. Yuuki quickly spun his body as he fell and landed on his feet, a crater forming underneath him as a result.

"Now, Yuuki!!!"

As Himari said this, she picked up a few rocks and hurled them all at Nagisa. Seeing this, the boy swung his sword with great speed as he was cutting the rocks in half with great precision. However, while Nagisa was distracted, Yuuki had put all his strength into his legs.

"Branding!!!"

Yuuki takes advantage of his speed, stepping forward then thrusting his fist forward simultaneously, focusing his power at a single point. However, Yuuki's eyes widen in shock when he saw Nagisa looking towards him and was swinging his blade at him. Though Nagisa being able to react to his speed was shocking, this was merely a distraction.

"Did you forget, Yuuki? This is a battle between sisters. Sadly you and I are just the side characters for now."

"Prime Time!!!!!"

"This ability takes longer to use than Golden Hour, so Tomioka drawing their attention away was a smart move."

Prime Time:By striking a "supreme pose" the amount of time that Yachiho can manipulate doubles.

Yachiho quickly fired four bullets at both Yuuki and Himari. The moment that time resumed, everyone was shocked to see Himari and Yuuki suddenly getting shot and falling to the ground. Seeing this, Nagisa sheathed his sword as he walked towards Yachiho in order to stand by her. Soon Himari looked at Yachiho in pure shock.

"I didn't think you had such a thing....."

"My growth is also that of a genius. Your defeat will be at your own hand for not taking that into account!"

~Meanwhile~
"Heh, things seem to be getting heated. Looks like our number of enemies might increase. Let's observe for now."

Outside of the barrier where the fight was being held stood three individuals. The one who spoke appears almost like a normal cute young girl of short stature, long purple hair that consists of snake tips, slitted eyes, sharp canines, and a black mark near the tip of her tongue. She wore traditional Japanese kimono with her hair tied in the back using a red ribbon.

"I'll handle it this time, you already had your rampage with the third unit."

"..........."

~With Nagisa~
"Learning can't switch abilities if the current ability she's using has a price that hasn't been paid yet. So, Slave, an ability that requires to give the slave a reward can't be switched suddenly while in use."

Knowing this, Yachiho smirked as she walked towards Himari with a smirk on her face. Seeing this, Nagisa stayed where his was with his right hand on the hilt of his sword just in case something happened. When Yachiho stood in front of Himari, the smirk on her face never faded.

"Remember, Himari. You never succeeded when it really mattered, today is no different. You can't match my Prime Time. Just give it up."

".......are you saying....that even now, I can't succeed?"

"Hey, you're not about to give up, are you?"

As Himari looked in the direction of the voice, she saw Yuuki trying his best to stand up. When he looked at the girl, Yuuki merely smirked as he finally managed to get up on his feet.

"Take a look at her face. That ability took a toll on her. I bet she's so worn out, she can't even do it a second time."

As Himari looked at Yachiho, she saw her sister sweating profusely as she was reloading her gun. They were so close to beating her. Suddenly Himari jumped onto Yuuki's back as she held onto the chain. As the two lunged at her, Yachiho aimed her gun at her opponents.

"You'll just disgrace yourself by going on. Don't bring shame to your chief, Himari!"

"In the seventh, to keep going until the end would never be a disgrace!!!!"

Just as they were getting closer, Yachiho began to take a pose as Himari and Yuuki were getting closer. Both sides had a plan for this one moment. They all had their attention on objective:to beat the opponent in front of them. However, it was because of this determination, they forgot one important fact.

"What did I tell you, Yuuki? We're merely the supporting characters here. It'd be rude to interrupt them. Though, it looks like she needs assistance."

They forgot a monster was lying in wait for this one moment.

"Sorry, Azuma-san. For this one moment, I need to steal the spotlight."
