Aarav was heading back home, the car stopped at the red light. He saw Manvi on her scooty, she was trying to kick start it but failed. He asked the driver to stop the car at the side after crossing the red light.

"But sir.."

Aarav said in firm tone "jaisa kaha hai waisa karo"

The driver agreed and stopped the car. Aarav came out of the car, he removed his coat and kept inside the car. He ordered the driver to go and headed towards Manvi.

Manvi murmured "Arghh.. Isko bhi abhi kharab hona tha... "

Aarav stopped and asked "any problem? Can I help?"

Manvi looked at him, she did not respond. Aarav said "dekhiye main help kar sakta hun.. Aapke paas aur koi choice nahi hai"

Manvi gave him a look "Aapki help nahi chahiye mujhe.."

"As you wish.. Bhalayi ka toh zamana hi nahi raha.." Aarav said and walked ahead.

Manvi was thoughtful, he was the first person to come to help her rest just passed by. She called him "ruko"

Aarav stopped and turned "ji?"

"Wo meri scooty start nahi ho rahi hai.." she said dejectedly.

Aarav came and looked, he tried to locate the problem. He said "kuch door ek mechanic shop hai waha scooty le chalte hai"

Manvi was not sure about going with him. Aarav smiled "trust me.."

She agreed and they started walking. They reached the mechanic shop.

Manvi said "thank you so much.. Ab main time se ghar jaa sakti hun aapne meri itni help ki... toh ek treat meri taraf se.."

"Ji??"

"Haa samne pani puri stall hai hum waha chale jabtak scooty repair hoti hai?" she asked.

Aarav agreed and they went to the pani puri stall. "Mera naam Manvi hai aur aapka?" she introduced herself..

"Aarav.." he said.

"Cute name.. Kaam kya karte ho?" she asked.

"Business man hun.." he said.

Manvi looked at him and started to laugh.. "Good joke.. Businessman sadak pe aise nahi chalte hai.. Aur ek ladki ki madad kare impossible.. I just hate these rich people '' she then said in a serious tone.

Aarav sighed.. Manvi asked again "sachi businessman ho?"

Aarav denied "nahi.. Just a clerk" he lied to her because he does not want her to hate him.

They went back and her scooty was repaired. She paid the mechanic "thank you Aarav.. Nice to meet you bye.."

She left and he smiled..

Manvi returned back home, it was almost 8 pm. She beeped through the window before getting into the house.

She saw Rajveer sitting on the couch and Naina walking to and fro. She took her phone and messaged Raj "kya haal hai?"

Rajveer saw the message, he looked at the window. He sighed and replied "aag babula ho rahi hai tumhari Di.."

Manvi hit her phone on her head "marr gayi.."

She folded her hands in front of him and requested him to save her. He denied but she made a cute innocent face. He agreed, Manvi passed a flying kiss to him and then quietly entered the house.

Naina looked at her and questioned "kaha thi itni der tak? Aur phone kyun nahi utha rahi thi tum"

Manvi replied "di.. Scooty kharab ho gyi thi toh garage mein thi"

"Aur phone?" she demanded.

"Battery.." she replied.

"Waah waah kya baat hai tumhara aur inka ek hi bahana hota hai.. Too much ho dono" she said irritatedly.

Manvi smiled..

"Jaane do naina aa gayi hai na ab ghar chalo khana khate hai" Rajveer said, trying to save Manvi from further scolding.

Naina gave him a look and said "koi khana nahi mil raha hai dono ko"

They looked at her with an open mouth.

"What? But kyun?" Rajveer questioned.

Naina smiled mischievously "aaj maine nahi banaya tum dono khud banake khalo" she moved towards the room.

This the best punishment she could give both of them.

They looked at each other and then went into the kitchen.

"jijs.... What to do?" she questioned.

"I don't know.." he replied.

Manvi sighed.. "kuch to banado bhook lagi hai" she said, making a hungry face.

He looked on at her.

"I will help," she said.

Rajveer agreed, he started preparing for the food. Manvi instructed while scrolling the recipe on the phone.

"jijs.. Abhi thoda namak daalo" she gave instructions.

Rajveer glared at her "you were supposed to help me" he said.

She smiled "I am helping.. Guiding you"

Rajveer just gave up as there is no point in arguing with her.

After an hour they served the food on the dining table. Naina was already waiting for them.

Manvi said "di taste karke batao maine banaya hai"

Rajveer gave her a shocking look. How easily she took the credit after all the hard work he has done.

Naina ate and coughed badly. She drank the better and said "itna zyda namak.. Oh god.. Tum dono ko to kuch nahi aata bas masti ke alawa"

Manvi made a face.

"jiju ne banaya khana" she said.

"acha? Guide to tum hi kar rahi thi.." Rajveer complained and both started to argue.

Naina interrupted "enough.."

They stood silent.

"dono na.. Mujhe pareshan kar dete ho.. Fridge mein khana rakha hai chup chap khalo dono" she ordered.

Manvi asked "haww.. Matlab khana ready tha"

"ji Haan.. Agli baar time pe ghar aana aur tum bhi zyda iski side mat lena samjhe" she said winking at both.

Manvi and Rajveer looked at each other. Afterall she is the boss of the house.

Shekhawat Mansion

Aarav arrived home with a smile on his face. Meeting and spending time with Manvi gave him a reason to live.

He walked ahead and saw Anand standing in front of him.

Anand looked at the time it was 9 pm. He shouted "itni der tak kaha they tum?"

The smile vanished from his face.

"iss ghar ke niyam hai kayde kanoon hai. Why don't you listen?" he raged badly.

"Dad.. Main.."

"shut up.. Ek hafte tak dinner nahi milega tumhe akal thikane khud aa jayegi and go to your room" he said.

Aarav just walked to his room. Rama said "aap.."

"apne bete ko samajhao.." he said and went away..

Rama came to Aarav's room with food plate in her hand.

She said "Aarav khana Khale beta..."

"please maa.. Shayad tumne suna nahi Dad ne kya kaha.. Aap please jao yahan se" he replied.

"lekin."

"maa please.. Ab to aadat ho gayi hai inn janjiro ki... Aap jao yahan se" he said looking away.

Tears slipped down her eyes, she came to her room. She opened the drawer and took out the photo it was of Rajveer and Aarav together. 

She caressed Rajveer's picture and said "laut aa.. Ek Tu hi hai jo sab thik kar sakta hai warna iss ghar mei nafrat hi nafrat hogi"
