I went down stairs and was about to go outside, to hopefully get out of this house. On my way out the door, I ran right into my parents. "Mom, dad your back early!" I hugged both of them. "Well, I was just so excited about our surprise for you that I could not just wait." I looked at them, and they both moved out of the way revealing a very nicely dressed boy. He looked around my age, with brown eyes and blonde hair. I looked at my parents wondering if this was it. "Eve, we want you to meet Shane, your arranged boyfriend."

Wait. What?!?

I did the only normal thing that I new how to do. I slammed the door in their faces, and ran up stairs and hide under my blankets. When I made it to my room, I thought I was safe until a pair of hands covered my eyes.

"I swear, if you don't get your hands off my face I will kick you where the sun don't shine!" When I turned around of course I was greeted
with the devil himself. "Whoah, chill. I just heard what your parents said, and I know that means that I should be leaving now." He turned around and was on his way to the door, but before he reached the door, he turned around with the same smirk that I hated so much. "Even though another guy is in the picture, I won't stop trying to win you back."

I stood there literally numb. I had no clue what to feel at the moment! First the guy that I started to fall for kissed another girl in front of me, then my parents arranged a boyfriend for me. How worse could my life get!!

All of a sudden I heard the voices of my parents and loud footsteps coming up to my room. I did was every other sane teenager would do, I locked my door. Haha! Try to get in now! While I was doing my own little victory dance I heard my door unlock. **** I forgot there my parents have a key to my room!!

I need to make a plan, and fast. I can hide under my bed, yess!! I quickly went under the bed, and next thing I saw was feet coming into my room. "I swear she would be in here." Why, mom, why.... "come on Shane, let's go down to the living room and maybe she will turn up." Yes, go down the stairs so I can sneak out the window. "If it alright with you, Mrs. Rose I would like to stay here and wait for her." I assumed my mom nodded, because she never said anything and just left.

I held my breath as I felt the bed shift on top of me. My god this guy weighs a ton! I heard a loud sigh, and whistling. Ugh, can't he leave..
"I know you are in here Eve, just come out and let's talk." Yeah, right! Talk, let's see how about, never! Wait, I don't hear anything. I listened very carefully, and started to slowly crawl to the edge were I could see.

Next thing that I know, someone grabs my leg and pulls me out from under the bed! How rude, I was hiding from the creeper! "Hey! Let me go!!" "I just want to talk to you, now will you let me?" I looked at him, and man can I say he was cute as ever! He was pouting like a little kid, and his hair was a bit messed up. He looked so cute, what snap out of it!

You are suppose to hate this guy, not think he is cute. I hate my inner self some times. "Fine, let's talk. Let's start with the part were you leave my room, and I never see you again. Bye!" I went to get up, but he pulled me down, right on top of him! "Nice try, but I really need to talk to you." I sat up the right way, after hiding the blush that I hope is not noticeable. "Don't try to hide the blush from me." Can he read minds?!?

"Are you going to explain to me what is going on here, or no?" He looked at me, and took a deep breath. "Look, I did not know about this at all. All I know is that your parents and my parents were really great friends, and they made a deal that both of their kids would end up together. They got together, arranged us to date until we get to the age when we can get married. I was literally dragged here, and look I don't mind being here, but I don't want you to think that this was my idea. Since we are both forced to be with each other for the time being, how about we make a deal?"

He stuck his hand out, and looked at me waiting for an answer. I thought about it, how bad could this deal be anyway? "Alright, what is it?" "We fake date to make our parents happy, while we are 'dating' we will try to find a  way to get out of this contract. What do you think?" I looked at him like he was the most insane person alive. Which I think he was at the moment. He really wants me to date him until we find a way to break the contract. No, way! "Sorry, buddy but I am not doing that! I can not date you until we figure how to get out of this!"

He stood up with me, "Well, do you have a better plan?" I looked at him for quite some time, then I sighed. "No, I don't." "Fine then, it's settled. Have a great day, babe." He then shut the door, and left me alone. Great! Now I have to deal with two guys...ugh, how much more stuff is going to happen to me. Maybe, me fake dating Shane won't be such a bad thing. Who knows, this could be fun...

To catch everyone up on what happen this morning. After Shane and I made our deal, he went home to gather his things so he can move in with us. Jax, is still going to be living with us. So, I am basically stuck with my brother, mom, dad, and two hormonal teenage boys.

I can't believe that my parents even let them both stay in the same house! Ugh...!!!! I walked down the stairs to eat supper, I was wearing my pj's. I decided if they are going to torture me by having them here, then I am going to torture them. I decided to wear white short shorts, with a black tank top.

"Eve! Come down to eat!" I was kinda smiling I wonder what they will think? While I was walking down to eat, someone grabbed my arm pushing me against the wall. "What are you doing?!" I looked to see that Jax was holding me. "Why did you not tell me you were dating someone!" I looked at him shocked at how he was acting. "I did not know! It's not my fault, I don't even want to be with him!!"

He let go of me, and walked back down the stairs. I really just wanted to run away from here, and never come back. I decided to just go ahead and eat with everyone. What was really going through my head at the moment was, what on earth have I done to deserve this?!

I walked into the dining room, and sat beside my brother. My mom was on my left side, my dad sat across from her, Jax across my brother, and Shane across from me. Great, just great. "Eve, sweetheart why don't you sit by Shane?" I looked at her, and tried to think of a way to get out of it.

Don't get me wrong I love my mom, but once she has her mind made up on something she means it. She will force me, or beg me to do what ever she wants till I do it. "I just want to sit by you, I have not seen you in a while. Besides, he is sitting across from me." I smiled with the most innocent smile that I have.

She just simply nodded, and went back to eating. I have been trying to go on a diet, I am very skinny but I still feel big. Ever since my depression I never have the craving to eat. My mom had fixed spaghetti, with garlic bread.

I looked at my mom, and dad and just smiled. I don't want to eat this. "Honey, why are you not eating?" I looked at her, then back at the plate. "I am just not hungry, I am still full from lunch." She looked at me skeptically, I bet she thinks I am lying. The only person that knows about this, is my brother.

When I did not eat supper or breakfast, he asked me what was going on. I told him the truth, mainly because I know he won't scold me or get really mad. He just said as long as I do eat something everyday, he won't stop me. He did say when ever he sees I have lost to much weight, or start to get more weak, he will take me to a doctor.

I eventually agreed on it, and I make sure that everything that I do eat is good for me. I looked at my brother asking for help. He nodded understanding what I meant. "Hey, mom. She is just really nervous about passing her big math test that she has, so she is just not hungry." My mom looked at him then at me, please believe his stupid lie!!

"Alright if you need to study then go on up, but I want you to eat something tomorrow morning before school." I nodded my head and headed up the stairs to my room. On my way up there I saw Jax and Shane was looking at me. They probably don't believe my brother. I hope they do...

After going to my room I took a quick shower, and changed back into my pj's. I was so tired, all that I wanted to do was sleep. I crawled under my covers, and turned off my lights. Right when I got into bed I heard my door slowly open. I had no clue who it was, so I just pulled the covers over my head, and acted like I was asleep.

"Eve, I know your not asleep." It was my brother, thank god!! "I thought you were one of the boys. What are you doing in here?" "Look, I know that I told you that I will leave you alone about this, but you need to start back eating normally. You can still eat healthy, but just eat more than what you are. I don't want you to end up sick, or mom finds out. If she finds out then you will be sent to the doctor." I thought about this for a minute, now since I really think about it I am really hungry.

"Alright fine. I will eat like I am suppose to, but I will eat healthy still. Just please, don't let mom or anyone find out. You are the only person that knows about this." He sighed, then looked at me in the eyes. "Alright, goodnight sis, don't kill the boys at school tomorrow." Oh, right they both are going to my school. Ugh!!

After my brother left my room, Shane came in. "Ugh! Can't you guys just leave me alone?!" He came and sat down on the side of my bed. "I just wanted to say that I am sorry if you don't like me being here. I know you don't know me well, but I hope that we can at least try to get along. I don't know what you and that other guy have, but I really do like you. Your parents told me all about you, even your brother did too. Your smart, beautiful, and your one of the sweetest people that I know. Just promise that you will try to get along with me."

He leaned over and kissed my forehead, and whispered goodnight in my ear. He got up and left my room, and left me alone with my thoughts. Maybe him being here really was not a bad thing. I mean, what's the worst thing that can happen?

Hiii!! I am so sorry it has been awhile since I last updated. I have started to get ready for testing, and I have been busy. I will try to post one chapter per week, or every other day. I hope all of you are enjoying the book so far.
