The whole night Aditya spent by having conflicts with Pooja and himself and fell asleep. In the morning, he had his answer.  He had start making amends from the very beginning. He had to go and appologize to Sahir first before going to Zoya. Aditya got ready without any delay  , informed the hospital that he wouldn't be coming and drove to Sahir's place. As crossed the gates, the memory of the horrific night came to him and a tear fell on his lap. He knocked on the door. After 5 minutes Sahir came to the door and exclaimed "Are Dr.Hooda aap yahan? Sab theek toh hai na?"

Aditya cleared his throat and said "Ummm Sahir, andar aa sakta hoon?"
"Yes ofcourse, I am so sorry. " said Sahir as he brought him in.
"Chai, paani kuch lenge?"

"Nahi, main theek hoon.".
After 5 silent minutes Sahir said "Aap kuch kehne chahte the?"

Aditya looked at him and said "Haan. Darasal baat yeh hai ki.. . Mujhe nhi pata main kaise boloon yeh. "
"Zoya theek hai na?" said Sahir.
"Nahi, Zoya theek nhi hai aur uska kaaran bhi main hoon."said Aditya while putting his head down.
"Baat kya hai? Itna ghuma kyun rahe hai baat ko? Kya hua Zoya ko?" said a slightly irritated  Sahir.

"Main aapse maafi maangne aaya hoon yahan pe." said Aditya.
'Mujhse maafi kyun maang rhe hai aap?"said Sahir.

"Kyunki main aapse jalta tha voh bhi paagalon ki tarah. Meri insecurities ki wajah se main kabhi aapka aur Zoya ka rishta dekh hi nhi paaya. Shuru se hi aapse badtameezi se pesh aaya hoon kyunki mujhe apni jalan ki wajah se aap pasand hi nhi aaye .
I am extremely sorry. Aur phir maine aapke baare mein aapke peeche itne kharab shabd istamaal kiye. Uss raat jab Zoya aur aap , hum dono ki anniversary ki planning kar rhe the main chori chipe aapke ghar aaya tha aur aapki baatein suni thi. Poore situation ko na jaane maine Zoya aur aapko misunderstand kar liya. Zoya ko toh maine gusse mein aise shabd bole jiske liye main khud ko kabhi maaf nhi kar sakta , uske saath maine aapko bhi bhala bura kaha uske saamne.  I am sorry. I really am.
If its possible do forgive me. Main Zoya se maafi maangne jaoonga lekin mujhe laga main aapse maafi maang loon because I have wronged you equally." Aditya stopped and gulped some air and looked at Sahir.

Sahir was dumbfounded for around 10 minutes and then he said "Umm wow. I dont even know how to react."

Aditya raised his eyebrows and said "Then what did you take 10 minutes for."
Sahir grinned and then said "Look Aditya,  I can call you Aditya right?" Aditya nodded and he continued "I had no idea about this and I am so sorry if because of me your insecurities increased and caused tension between you and Zoya. I have always wanted the best for Zoya and I will always want that. And today I am sure that she has the best with her. It takes guts to come and appologize to an absolute stranger and bare your flaws out.  I am honestly in awe of you and yes I forgive you.
Now please go to Zoya and convince her to come back to you. A genuine , heartfelt apology is  what it will take for her to forgive you. Go now and I am sure you will succeed."

Aditya smiled and pulled Sahir into an hug and said "Thank you so much. You are honestly an angel in Zoya and my life.   Now you have another friend for life ,  Dr.Aditya Hooda is at your service always. And sorry once again."
Sahir patted him and led him to the door.

Feeling happy that he had conquered his first feat. He headed to his main task , getting his wife back to their house. He had asked an intern to find out where Zoya was staying and he headed to the PG.

As he parked his car he looked around and said to himself "Zoya bechaari meri wajah se aisi unsafe jagah reh rhi hai. Itni ziddi hai, thoda zid karke mujhe ghar se bahar nikal ke khud Hooda mansion mein rehna chaiye tha usko. Khair chodo ab." He took one last glance at his hair in his car window and climbed the stairs to reach her room.  He knocked thrice before Zoya came to open the door. As she opened she was saying "Are itni baar khatkhataane ki kya zaroo..... Aap?"
She glared at him and Aditya gave her a small smile , she said "Aapko yahan ka pata kaise pata chala? Peecha kar rhe the humara?"

Aditya shook his head and said "Voh tumhari dost hai na Dr. Arora usse poocha."
Zoya said in cardboard voice "Kya chaiye aapko? Humne aapko kaha tha na humein aapki shakal dekhne mein koi interest nhi hai. Kyun aaye hai aap yahan humari subah kharab karne?"
Aditya said "Please andar chal ke baat karte hai na."

He touched her hand to get inside and she shook it away. She let him come in. She said "Ab baat karne ko kya hai Aditya ? Aapne toh baat karne ke liye kuch choda hi nhi. Aur humesha aapko baat kyun karni hoti hai , galti bhi aap kare , terms bhi aap hi rakhe. Samajhte kya hai aap apne ko?"
Aditya said "Tumhara pati."
Zoya rolled her eyes and said "Yeh filmi dialogue sunne ke liye hum apna wakt zaaya nhi karna chahte. Kya kehna hai kehiye aur jaaiye yahan se. "
Aditya looked at her longingly "Itni nafrat karne lagi ho mujhse? Main saha bhi nhi jaa rha ab tumse ?"

Zoya said "Aapne aur koi chaara diya hai humein ? Aapki baaton se ,aapki harkaton se insaan nafrat na kare toh kya kare?."

Aditya said "Maaf kar sakti ho mujhe?"
Zoya had tears in her eyes and said  "Kya aapko lagta hai itna aasaan hai maaf karna. Ek sorry se sab pehle jaisa ho jayega kya Aditya? Kya hum bhool jayenge ki aapne humare baarein mein aur humare bhai ke baare mein kya bola tha ? Kya aap maaf kar paate? Kya aap maaf karte?"

Aditya was breaking down inside but he remained strong and came closer to Zoya and whispered softly "I am so sorry Zoya. I am so sorry." His forehead touched hers and both closed their eyes and tears flowed out. He gently cupped her face and said "Please maaf kar do mujhe Zoya. Main nhi reh sakta tumhare bina. Please maaf kar do. Please." He almost choked as he said this.

Zoya was taking deep breaths. She wanted to forgive him . She wanted to give in to his touch but that night's scene played in her head and she pushed him away and said "Nhi Aditya. Door hoiye mujhse. Aap aisa nhi kar sakte.  Aap aise humare paas aake , humein kamzor karke humse maafi nhi maang sakte. You cant just touch my face and make it all go away, because it wont and it can't."

Aditya said "Toh Zoya tum bolo main kya karoon. Tum jaisa bologi main vaisa karne ko tyaar hoon. Tum bolo main kya karoon ki tum mujhe maaf kar dogi. Hum yeh rishta toh nhi tod sakte ma Zoya. Tumhare alawa mera koi nhi hai, jo mujhe mere se bhi zyada samajhta hai. Zoya main tumse. .."

Zoya said trembling "Bas kiijiye. Aap apne pyaar ka izhaar mat kariye taaki hum aapko pighal ke maaf kar de. Aap please jaiye yahan se Aditya. Humein wakt chiaye.  Please chale jaiyein yahan se. Please."

Aditya said "Pakka?"
Zoya opened the door and signalled him to leave.

Aditya left . Zoya slid down the closed door and broke down. Aditya went down and sat on the footpath facing the PG. There were dark clouds looming over , he looked at them and said "Acha hai , kaaale  badal mere mood ke liye bilkul sahi hai. Very Nice."

*Jaane na kahan voh duniya hai , jaane na voh hai bhi ya nhi , jahan meri zindagi mujhse itni khafa nhi* playing in background.

It started raining heavily after half an hour and Aditya was still sitting there.
Two hours passed and he kept sitting there getting wet in the rain , Zoya was tossing and turning in her bed and looking at Aditya and her photographs. After some time she realized that it was raining and her clothes were hanging outside. She wiped her face and went outside. When she came to the balcony she immediately saw Aditya drenched in the rain , sitting with his hands folded over his crossed legs and shaking to and fro. 
She shrieked "Adityaaa." and ran down. Aditya saw her coming and smiled. She shouted frantically "Aap pagal hai kya? Aapko ek baalti thande paani se bukhaar ho jata hai aur aap yahan aise. Chaliye upar aap. Humne aapko ghar jaane ke liye bola tha aur aap...." she went on ranting and took his hand and climbed upstairs, Aditya was still smiling thinking "Chalo kam se kam she still cares about me."

Zoya brought him inside and gave him a towel and one of her over sized kurtis with loose pyjamas . Aditya looked at them  and said "Main yeh pehnoonga?".
Zoya said "Oh sorry Aditya. Humein  nhi pata tha ki aap baarish mein bheeg ke humare pg aayenge. Nhi toh hum aapke liye fresh shirts rakh dete."

She rolled her eyes and went to make tea. Aditya grinned as he wore her clothes . He closed his eyes as he felt the warmth of her clothes. The clothes gave them the feeling that she was there in his arms.

Zoya came and thrust a cup of tea laced with ginger and cardamom  in his hand and said "Yeh jaldi peeke apne ghar jaiye aap."
Aditya said "Aise baat karte hue achi lagti ho."

Zoya narrowed her eyes and said "Yeh mat sochiye ki humne aapko maaf kar diya hai Aditya. Aur humein pata hai aap kya karna chahte the. Aap chahte the ki aap baarish mein bheeg kar humein emotionally blackmail kar paayenge taaki hum aapko maaf kar de. Kyunki agar aisa nhi hota toh aap yeh bewakoofi nhi karte ."

Aditya was hurt and said "Tumhe lagta hai maine tumhe manipulate karne ke liye yeh sab kiya. Tum aisa sochti ho mere baare mei?. Zoya Maine apne aap se vaada kiya tha ki main tumhe apne saath liye bina nhi jaoonga. Isliye main bahar baitha rha. I didnt want you to come and take me in. I wanted to show you that I was ready to give everything that it takes for your forgiveness."

Zoya said "Toh aap gaadi mein kyun nhi baithe?"

Aditya said "Mere dimag mein nhi aaya. Lekin agar tum mujhe nhi maaf karna chahti ho aur mujhe gaadi mein baitha hua dekhna chahti ho toh theek hai. Main vohi karoonga. Tum agar mere saath Hooda Mansio mein nhi rehna chahti toh theek hai , main yahan reh loonga lekin tum apne ghar mein rahogi. Uss jagah ko tumne hi ghar banaya hai Zoya.

Main vahan khul ke jiya hoon toh sirf tumhare liye. Tumne aake mere hisse ki zimmedaari le li khushi khushi. You made everything so easy for me. It's your house Zoya. You dont deserve to live here because of my fault."

Zoya was silent. Aditya said "Main aage bol sakta hoon kya ?"
Zoya didn't say anything.  She was looking down and tears were falling thick and fast on her lap. Aditya said softly "Zoya?". She said "Boliye."

Aditya said "I am really sorry Zoya. Mujhe tumhare bhai ke baare mein aise nhi bolna chaiye tha. Main khud ko maaf nhi kar sakta for bringing him up in our fight. I really am sorry for that. I never meant to. I promise that aage kabhi jhagda hua humara toh main kabhi itna out of control nhi hoonga ki kuch bhi bina soche bol doon."

Zoya said "Aapko aage phir se jhagde karne hai?"

Aditya said 'Nhi mera voh matlab nhi tha. Ab ladaiyaan toh hoongi na.

Anyway leave that. Let me complete. Zoya , I am sorry for doubting your intentions that day. But my  insecurities took  better of me. Main itna dar gya tha ki maine tumhe kho diya tha ki main aur kuch soch hi nhi paaya. Zoya, tum mere liye meri zindagi ho. 

Aur sab apni zindagi ko lekar sabse zyada darte hai na , main bhi dar gya tha. Dar bohot galat cheezien kara deta hai ,dar aapko apna dimag lagane nhi deta. Fear becomes a monster and it engulfs you Zoya.
And that's what happened to me as well. I never wanted to hurt you Zoya  , I can never do it, even if I lose my sanity some day , I will never hurt you again. Zoya, tumhare hone se hi maine apne aap ko wapas paaya hai .

Tum nhi aati na meri zindagi mein toh main jeena kabhi shuru hi kar pata. Zoya tum mere liye sirf meri patni ya meri dost nhi ho , tum meri humsfar ho , meri humnava. Main tumhare bina apni zindagi soch  bhi nhi sakta. Yeh pichle chaar din kaise guzre hai main hi jaanta hoon. Maine kabhi apne aapko itna helpless , itna akela, itna incapable nhi samjha hai. Maine na kuch khaya hai na main soya hoon theek se. Kitchen jata tha toh tumhari yaad aati thi, aur bhook mit jaati thi. Humare ghar mein ek aisi jagah nhi nahin hai jahan se humari yaadein nhi Judi hui hai.

Zoya, I love you. I love you very much. Bepannaah, beintehaan  , beyhadh mohabbat ho gyi hai tumse. Saans leta hoon toh bhi tumhara khyaal aata hai, dhadkanein tumahre baare mein soch ke hi badhne lag jaati hai,  tumahri muskaan dekh kar poora din nikaaalne ki taakat aa jati hai. Bohot pyaar karta hoon tumse Zoya. Please Zoya yeb rishta itni asaani se khatam mat karo , main nhi jee paaonga tumhare bina , nhi reh paaonga.

Tumhe time chaiye tum time lo , lekin please maaf kar do. "

He broke down as he finished speaking and started crying.

Zoya was also crying.

Both of them were on the floor and Zoya took his forehead and pressed it to hers and said as she gulped her tears back "Aditya, I am sorry too. Humein aapke insecurities trigger nhi karne chaiye the . Humari bhi galti thi. I am so sorry."

Aditya said "Tum kyun sorry bol rhi pagal."

Zoya was wiping his tears with one hand and the other was around his head , she said "Nhi. Humne aap pe haath uthaya. Humein nhi karna chaiye tha aisa. Humne aapko kaha ki aap..aap..mare ya jeeyein humein kou farak nhi padta , kaise bol sakte the hum yeh. Aap toh humari jaan hai. I am sorry. "

Aditya cupped her face and said "Toh tumne mujhe maaf kiya?"

Zoya hugged him tightly and said "Haan. Hum bhi aapke bina nhi reh sakte. I love you too Aditya, I love you." Aditya held her in his hands with all his strength. She broke free of the hug and kissed his forehead and he kissed hers numerous times.
He then lifted her face up and brought his lips close to hers , she put her hand in her hair and he pulled her in for kiss. She kissed him back. They let their tongues convey everything that they couldn't say. It was the most beautiful feeling for both of them , her hands clutching his hair , his hand on her back. After what seemed like 100 blissful years they broke apart.

Zoya lightly touched the scar where she had hit him , Aditya said "Don't bother about it. I deserved it. Ek do din mein dikhega bhi nhi."

Zoya kissed him there and they both hugged again . They spent the whole night like that. She in his arms and him stroking her hair and showering her with light kissed occasionally. They fell asleep on the floor but it was the most peaceful sleep they had had in days. All was well again.
