I walked with Jughead into a bar, the hang out of the gang my mom was a member of.

"Hey, Jughead did you break up with that blonde girl again?" A girl from the bar asked.

"No Toni, this is Hyeon, she's a transfer from South Korea, her mom was a Serpent." He explained.

"She used to bang his dad, so in theory, I could be Jughead's older sister. Now wouldn't be the day, actually, that might..."

Jughead cut me off. "She speaks perfect English but I don't understand half of what she says."

"Haha, very funny. But are you really dating that barbie?" I asked.

"Betty? Yeah, we've been dating on and off for a while. You have something against her?" Jughead questioned.

"No, I just prefer brunettes or redheads, blondes aren't my type." I shrugged.

"You like women?" Toni asked.

"Yeah and men, women are more fun though." I winked.

"Well, you'll have to hit me up sometime." Toni smiled.

"It's nice over here in America, I can be openly gay and there's not as much judgment." I sat down at the bar. "So how exactly do you become a Serpent, have the rules changed or is it still the dance and tattoo, plus the ruels?"

"I think the Serpent rules have always stayed the same," Jughead spoke.

"Cool, let's get this done then. You can verify me right?" I asked.

"Uhh yeah." Jughead nodded.

"Cool, let's do this then." I went towards the stage.

"Ok hold on." Jughead got up and followed me to the stage.

"Strip shows are always fun right?" I stepped on to the stage.

"Hyeon wait just a second." Jughead grabbed my arm.

"Nah let her do it, you want to be a serpent right?" A guy said from the audience.

"Don't egg this on Sweet Pea," Jughead yelled at him.

"No, if she wants to be a serpent then let her. It'll be nice to have another girl. You know the serpent rules right?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Of course. Put some music on and I'll dance."
