I watched as the sun rose and knew that the fight was starting. Toni was pacing around while Cheryl slept on the couch.

"You should get some sleep too Toni, you've been through a lot." I continued to stare out the window. "Cuddle with your girlfriend, I'll keep watch."

Toni sighed and collapsed on to the couch next to Chery and fell asleep quickly. I got up and pulled a blanket over them before sitting back down in the window seal.

Before I could realize, I had fallen asleep.

"Hyeon." Sweet Pea smiled brightly as he stepped into the apartment.

I smiled at him and patted my stomach. "I have to tell you something."

"Are you pregnant?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yes." He picked me up and swung me around.

"Hyeon, Hyeon!"

My mom's voice pulled me from my sleep. "Ne!"

She was holding up Sweet Pea, he had been beat to shit.

"Oh my god." I shot up and grabbed Sweet Pea. I grabbed a couch pillow and laid him down on the floor.

My mom turned to go back out the door. "I have to go help F.P. with the guys."

"Did we win?" I asked.

"No, the Sunny side trailer park was burned down. Some of our own became Ghoulies, the rest were arrested or got outta town." My mom went out the door.

"Hyeon." Sweet Pea spoke.

"Yeah." I look down at him.

"The Serpents are gone, we have nothing." He slammed his hand into the floor.

Timeskip

I pulled the wrap tight and Sweet Pea winced in pain. Toni was in the kitchen with Cheryl trying to cook something.

I pulled on the wrap again.

Sweet Pea grabbed my wrist. "I get you're mad so if you're going to punish me for fighting the Ghoulies could you yell at me instead?"

I dropped the wrap and stared at him. "You could have died and left me here alone, you could have died at the age of 17 because you went up against a rival gangs after I begged you not to."

"I'm sorry." Sweet Pea mumbled.
