The screams of horror gained his attention. He didn't waste time, got up and left his room immediately. He sprinted through the hallway and into his sister's room. That's where he heard the scream.

There she was, laying in a pool of her own blood. He noticed her window was left open, a trail of blood dripping from the frame. He didn't care. He ran towards his sister and saw huge wounds on her arms.

❝A-Anadi... stay with me, I-I'm going to find help I-❞

He sobbed. He quickly noticed her nerves getting more visible, on her arms and face. Her hand twitched as she slightly growled. He got up and took a few steps back.

❝Bhai Jan m-might know something about this.. but.. what's happening to you A-Anadi-❞

He didn't have enough time to complete that sentence. She immediately leaped towards him. He moved out of the way and ran through the hall. Tears falling down his face as he looked behind, his sister wasn't her usual self.

He went to his elder brother's room, it was already wide open. He felt a knot in his stomach, the room was empty, yet filled with..
blood...

He felt a wet liquid near his feet, he looked down to see more blood. He heard loud foot steps behind him and got down. Anadi had leaped over him.

He got up and ran out the house. His socks getting wet in the mud as the rain poured above him. His hair and clothes getting wet as well. She followed while running after him in a faster pace then before.

He ran into the forest and tripped over a rock. She took the chance and got on him. She raised her hand and drew her claws. He then held her wrists tightly and kept her far from him.

❝ANADI PLEASE, COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES-❞

no use, her growling just got louder.

In the blink of an eye, she was gone. He got up and saw Jack holding her by the arms, keeping a gun up to her head. He panicked, his elder brother was already missing, he couldn't loose his only sister.

❝JACK LET GO OF MY SISTER THIS INSTANT YOU-❞

Jack showed no emotion whatsoever as Anadi tried getting away from him. He didn't respond to Aadil either. Just a constant glare.

Aadil knew he had to do something, he didn't care if Anadi hurt him, he just wanted her back. He got up and ran into the left row of trees. Jack didn't keep his eye on him but still knew where he was moving.

Aadil grabbed a rock from the ground while running and from the side attempted to aim it at Jack.

Jack held Anadi's arms tighter, as Aadil came running towards him, he hit him on the head using his gun. Something clicked in Anadi's hand as she saw that.

She immediately gained the strength to get away from Jack and get closer to Aadil.

That was the moment a slight bit of panick appeared on Jack's face.

❝She's going to eat him❞

was all Jack thought to himself. Wrong. She didn't lay a finger on her brother. Instead, she covered him and growled at Jack instead. He was protecting Aadil from him.

All the time he spent as a Hellbourne, he hadn't seen a demon protect a regular country.
