𖢻 ⋮ Leaving home

Anadi come on! get your hood on and let's go, I don't think this place is safe anymore

Aadil called. Of course it was their home, not the one they grew up in but they had lived there for decades. It did hurt to leave. But it wasn't going to be any safer staying. Already Aditya was missing and Anadi had become a demon, who knows what will happen if they stay there any longer.

Anadi quickly came out from her room. He almost didn't recognize his sister because she had fully covered herself in her clothing. But he did notice that she had gotten new clothes.

She was wearing stolkings, boots, full sleeved shirt and gloves. But a cloth cover her face.

Can you still see? your eyes are fully covered too

Aadil asked. She nodded. He thought she had the ability to see through whatever she wished to see through so he dismissed it. He smiled and pat her head again.

That's when he grabbed their things and left the house as she followed. There were a lot of puddles created 'cause of the rain on the previous day.

As he looked at the address on the paper and complained of how far away it was and how much they'd have to walk, Anadi was just splashing around in puddles and crushing on any leaf she saw on the ground.

Aadil didn't mind, he just kept on complaint about how far their destination was.

Anadi looked in his direction and suddenly sprinted towards a area in the forest.

ANADI WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!

he yelled and ran after her. He got tired quickly from running while she didn't. When he finally reached where she was ans saw she was sitting in a small cave. It wasn't that small thought, it was big enough to serve them as a bedroom for a night.

He was surprised while Anadi just jumped in and took the cloth off her head. He left the stuff with her.

I'll just gather some more stuff, stay here till then. Okay?

He said. To which she nodded happily. He then left.

Immediately her attention went to the deep end of the cave and went there. She sat there, feeling the urge to disappear for a while. With that, she simply turned translucent. You could still see her if you paid enough attention and looked closely.

When Aadil came back he was confused on where she went.

Anadi? Anadi?

He called out. That's when Anadi finally decided to show herself and went towards him. He had a sigh of relief, went into the cave as she quickly hugged him.

I didn't leave for that long, and is something wrong? you haven't been talking a all

Hr asked. She backed away and shrugged. She looked behind him and it was getting darker. She gave him a concerned look, almost like she was trying to say

If you don't cover the entrance of the cave, other demons might attack

He nodded, he had gone to get some dried up long grass from around the forest and found a huge amount.

When he showed them to her, she immediately knew what he was going to do. She helped him bread up the dried grass. It would work as a curtain for a night. It was late when they finished.

He quickly put it over the entrance of the cave and sat next to her. He seemed tired. She wasn't tired, she had more energy as she was now a demon. She pat his head and smiled at him. He smiled back and laid down. She kept patting his head and used the cloth she had to cover him, like a type of blanket.

She looked at the address on the paper again. Since she ran pretty far to find the cave and Aadik came after her, they had gotten much closer. Next to reach the address they'd have to climb the top of the mountain that was not that far from where they were, thankfully.
