I added the song as I feel it fits India's and USSR's actual relationship, the song is from USSR's POV btw. TW, blood and gore(?). And disclaimer, this is also a part of my AU and this is not to offend any person, country, race or religion. And another thing, do yall mind adding some extra comments at certain paragraphs in this chapter? cause every time someone does that it makes me happy to know what they think of certain parts and I do enjoy reading what they have to say about those parts so I would highly appreciate it if you were to do so, but I'm not wanting to force anyone into doing it so if you want to, then do it and if not then you don't have to do it. And very sorry it took such a long time to write, my hands kept dying and I was working really hard on the plot for this so it did take some time. I did avoid writing certain topics which were too sensitive so yea that. Anyways, this includes the fictional disease called "Hanahaki" which is a disease where a person throws up blood and flower petals if the person they love doesn't love them back equally. after the Sino-Indian war.... At Anahath's place

Anahath stared at the ceiling. She was unable to sleep. Every time she tried to dooze off, she'd hear screams of terror and people yelling ,,GET TO THE FRONT LINES BEFORE THEY DO" and she'd be awake again. But why? she never experienced this during the Indo-Pak wars, then why is she going through this after the Sino-Indian war?

of course she knew there was going to be no answer. She just felt so tired, yet still couldn't sleep. She looked towards her window which blew open with the wind, seemed like she didn't close it properly earlier. As the cold night winds blew into her room, she groaned and covered her head using her blanket. ,,Your loss you didn't let me-" a voice was about to say. A shadow was formed in the mirror, shape of a male who was wearing a former Indian army uniform. Anahath growled and grabbed a framed picture of her and her siblings together and threw it at the window. ,,I don't have the time to deal with your shit, Azad" she said before closing her eyes and once again, attempting to sleep.

this time, she couldn't open her eyes and felt extremely tired. It was as if she were laying in a hospital bed, slowly dying. But nothing was happening. To her at least. Then it got her, was it one of her younger siblings going through something? no no no, she tried convincing herself that nothing bad happened to her siblings. As she laid in bed, helpless and worried. A sudden sound caught her attention. She was able to open her eyes again. She was starting to sweat and quickly got up. Everything looked blurry. She squinted her eyes, it was still blurry. She rubbed her eyes and then looked over to a old family portrait. Every moment with her family before he came, would always make her tear up. That what a life she had, but now it's all gone and she couldn't do anything about it, but cry, she then looked at the bottom of the painting.

the words, painted in 1546 were written under the portrait itself. She stared at it, seeing her past self, her younger siblings and her mother... for a moment she felt to sudden urge to cry when she stared at her mother's face, why did she have to die in such a terrible way? she couldn't even say a proper goodbye to her. She then looked at her father, she despised him for his doings. But she knew whatever had happened, was her fault the entire time. She kept staring and feel deeper in her thoughts. As she was starting to loose touch from reality...

the sound of a vase being knocked over snapped her back to her surroundings. She looked towards the door, she stared at it for a good minute before getting up. She walked as quietly as she could to grab a gun from her closet. She grabbed her gun and looked back at the door. For a second she thought she heard someone say something. As she got alert and walked over to the door. She heard glass shatter and the sounds of someone running away. She loaded her gun and gritted her teeth.

She immediately opened the door and looked around. She then looked at the ground, a broken glass bottle. The liquid from the glass bottle smelled awful, it smelled similar to poison. She sighed, she was going to talk about this with Anshul in the morning. She walked back over to her closet. She placed her gun back in the farthest corner and looked back at where the broken glass bottle was. She grabbed a handkerchief and went towards the broken bottle. She got on one knee and looked at it. The smell radiating from it was terrible, but she tried to ignore it. She used the handkerchief to put up the broken bottle. The label was still intact, at least most of it was. Some of it was coated in the same liquid that was spilled on the floor. She sniffed it and coughed twice.

It did not smell pleasant at all. She then squinted her eyes again to read whatever was visible on the label. ,Rat poi' was all that was visible. She immediately knew who was the person who ran past her room and dropped the bottle. ,,Rat poison, you really want me dead huh." she said to herself. In the background, there was just sound of wind blowing. The silence in the house felt creepy, Anahath put the bottle back down and got up. She had a feeling in her stomach, something was wrong. An aching feeling grew in her stomach. She slammed her door shut. Ugh, she felt the aching feeling in her stomach grow. ,,What is even going on, ugh I need a break from this" she rubbed her forehead. She sat back on her bed. She started humming a lullaby to herself. One which her father used to sing to her when she was a toddler. Oh how much she missed those days. Well all she could do currently was try sleep, the rest she'd figure out in the morning.

later in the morning...

as the sounds of a peacock squawking outside loudly, the sunlight lit up Anahath's room. She didn't want to wake up. Strange how we're unable to get sleep at night but can't wake up in the morning. But she knew she had to get up. She got up and yawned. Today was a UN meeting to sign a ceasefire with China, she really had no choice but to go. She got off her bed and walked over to her closet. She open the closet doors and shuffled through her clothes. ,Really not in the mood to take time to choose something to wear, I'll just pick something random' she thought to herself as she grabbed a pair of jeans and a button up shirt.

as she got ready, someone knocked on her door. ,,My lord, what happened last night? there was a broken bottle of poison outside your door" it was Anshul asking that question. ,,I know, it was him. I need you to stay on high alert especially near the border, Anshul" Anahath replied. Anshul knew who she was referring to, she nodded and left.

As she walked through the busy streets of New Delhi, the people greeted her and were constantly offering her food and clothes. Of course her people would do that, they do it nearly every time she passed by any street. Her people really loved her, didn't they?

but something specifically caught Anahath's eye, certain people talking in a different language and giving glances at her every few minutes while she was passing by. Weirdly enough she thought the language sounded familiar but she couldn't understand it. She felt weirded out and kept walking. She held the files closer and didn't look back. She was close to the Un building so she wouldn't have to worry too much.

Xeon Wei also happened to be heading to the UN building using the same path as Anahath. He immediately noticed her and silently growled under his breath. He sighed and followed behind her. Anahath felt a presense behind her and looked behind to see Xeon. They both glared a each other for a moment. Xeon then power walked past her and tried his best to ignore her. ,,In a bad mood today huh, chin chan chon" Anahath teased him. She knew he hated being called that. ,,Stop calling me that." He stopped in his tracks and said.

,,Awww, upset about a silly nickname I kept?-" Anahath was about to say. ,,Or are you teasing me because you lost the war?" Xeon Wei replied and kept walking on. She was silent and then followed to inside of the building.

The guards looked up and down at both of them before letting them in. As they walked, there was chatter in the building. Most other countries had come early and were either talking to each other or grabbing breakfast. Anahath went to one of the tables and grabbed a cup of tea and walked towards Leonid. ,,Stupid brat... anyways, how are you Leo?" Anahath asked Leonid. He couldn't be less bothered about her bur still answered, ,,I'm ffine, whatt happeened vithh Xeon Vei noww?". ,,He got pissed off from a silly nick name I gave him, he just can't handle jokes" Anahath replied. Leonid didn't care, he just didn't want her to get suspicious of him either so he had to do something. He though about it for a moment, ,,I'll goo haave a 'talk' vitth him" he said, he pretended to be at least slightly angry. ,,You would do that?" Anahath asked, she didn't think he'd do that for her. Because he wouldn't, he was just acting nice to her to gain her trust. ,,I'll aboout it viith himm aftter thee meeting iss donne" Leonid answered, it was a excuse to get away from her really. She still felt slightly happy on the inside as she slightly blushed.

,,May all countries stay seated, meeting begins in 30 minutes" a voice came from the speaker.

most countries finished breakfast and got their files and documents sorted. Anahath threw the cup in the dustbin and sat down in her seat. Her younger brother came and sat next to her, they didn't even try look at each other. But she noticed her younger sister wasn't with him, which was unusual because he would make their younger sister stay with him where ever he went. But Anahath knew is she asked him what happened to Anadi(Bangladesh) because it would cause a scene during the meeting. As countries got seated down, she decided to shuffle through her files and see if she had everything needed for the meeting. There was silence and then UN finally entered the meeting room.

,,I hope you all know the reason we are all here today" UN said, specifically looked at Xeon Wei and Anahath for a few moments before continuing. ,,Xeon, may you read out the ceasefire agreement out loud" UN asked, Xeon nodded and started reading it aloud. ,,Beginning from 21 November 1962, the Chinese frontier guards will cease fire along the entire Sino-Indian border. Beginning from 1 December 1962, the Chinese frontier guards will withdraw to positions 20 kilometres (12 miles) behind the line of actual control which existed between China and India on 7 November 1959. In the eastern sector, although the Chinese frontier guards have so far been fighting on Chinese territory north of the traditional customary line, they are prepared to withdraw from their present positions to the north of the illegal McMahon Line, and to withdraw twenty kilometres (12 miles) back from that line. In the middle and western sectors, the Chinese frontier guards will withdraw twenty kilometres (12 miles) from the line of actual control." He finished and sat back down. ,,Anahath, when did you recieve the ceasefire announcement?" UN asked. ,,I had recieved it a day later" Anahath answered. ,,And may I address my claims of the eastern sector?" she asked as she held onto her documents. ,,Yes you may" UN replied. ,,I request Xeon Wei to move back another 20 kilometers from the border" Anahath said and at Xeon as she said so.

,,I agree with India on this point, Xeon must move back further from the border of Aksai Chin" George(Britain) then said. ,,Even I have to agree with her on this point" Amun(Egypt, then United Arab Republic) joined. ,,The Chinese troops must withdraw from the border" Ceylon(Sri Lanka) said. ,,Agreed" Burma responded. A smirk slowly formed on Anahath's face. Xeon's eyes widened as he looked at the countries who sided with her. ,,I agree with Ceylon as well" Boupha(Cambodia) then said as she got up. ,,I will also side with Anahath" Kartika(Indonesia) said after Boupha. ,,I will stay neutral in this conflict" Aadil(Pakistan) said, Anahath was surprised her younger brother wasn't siding with Xeon Wei.

meanwhile, Leonid stayed silent the entire time. But Jack(USA) had something else on his mind. ,,All though I may not like Anahath at all, if Xeon doesn't withdraw his troops from the border then I'll have no option but to help Anahath in this situation" Jack finally said. The room went silent. Most countries didn't believe he was siding with Anahath.

Leonid now knew he had to do something to prevent Jack and Anahath from becoming allies, because if they do so then he'd loose almost all power in South Asia. Which was something he couldn't afford. ,,I mayy stay neeutral inn this waar, buut I wiill helpp Anahath inn this kase. Annd it vould be beetter if yoou vere not to gget involved vith everything, Jack" Leonid stood up and said. Jack glared at him through his glasses and he glared back.

some countries got nervous, they wanted to say something back but stayed silent. They knew getting involved would lead to civil unrest in their own countries. The smirk on Anahath's face slowly disappeared, but she felt flustered. ,He's really willing to argue with Jack over helping... me? well... maybe I could trust him' she thought to herself. Aadil felt something different, he felt suspicious of Leonid instead. Some countries were confused on why Leonid out of all countries was wanting to help Anahath, they also felt some suspicion.

Xeon Wei's face was frozen in shock. ,Even Leonid is siding with her? no no no. Aadil is staying neutral in this, both Leonid and Jack want to help her and others are siding with her... something is wrong. Why do I care if something happens to her? maybe because I have some decency, but what is even happening. How is this even happening?' he kept asking himself. The truth was, those questions weren't going to be answered any time soon. In fact many countries had the same question. ,,I just offered help, you didn't have to say anything because your the one getting involved in this now." Jack said and raised his glasses on top of his head. ,,Shhe doesn't neeed yourr help, soo it's useeless forr you too even trry offeriing heer your hhelp" Leonid replied in a cold tone.

,,listen, I don't think that Leonid has good intentions towards you-" Aadil whispered, he tried warning Anahath. ,,You wouldn't know that would you?" Anahath cut him off. ,,I'm just trying to warn you, your choice if your going to trust him" Aadil sighed and said, now he was sure Leonid planned to do something to his older sister by seeing how much Anahath already seemed to trust him. ,,Did you two say something?" Inaya(Bhutan) asked. ,,Nothing nothing" Aadil replied.

Boupha got nervous at seeing Leonid and Jack argue so she sat back down. ,,Oh please, you-" Jack was cut off. ,,Silence, this is meant to be a civil meeting about the Sino-Indian war and the ceasefire, not a playground for you two to fight in." UN said. There was complete silent for a good minute in the room. ,,Now both of you sit back down." UN said and looked at Leonid and Jack. They both sat back down and kept glaring at each other.

,,Back to the topic. What land changes have been officialized are the only changes that will be made. No other changes in land" UN said as he finalized the decision.

Xeon Wei sighed in relief, but he didn't even glance at Anahath. But he felt something was off, he ignored the feeling and didn't say a word. Anahath slightly growled but kept her anger in control. She then felt the aching feeling in her stomach again. She looked over to Aadil, who was now looking nervous and slightly angry. ,,Meeting dismissed" UN finally said and left the room.

Anahath looked at the time, it was now 10am. The meeting had started at 8:30am, it had lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. She got up and decided to chat with Leonid before leaving. She walked out of the room and looked through the hallway, she spotted him smoking and talking to someone else while standing close to the exit. She smiled and walked towards him. She got closer and noticed that he was talking with Xeon Wei. She then got curious and wanted to eavesdrop on what they were talking about.

she went into the woman's washroom and changed into her human form. She then left and got closer and pretended to be looking through her documents for something while hearing what they were talking about. ,,You can't just- why would you chose her over me, her out of all people?!-" Xeon said trying to be as quiet as possible. ,,Firrst off all, keepp your vooice down. Nexxt, I kan side vith herr even iff you maay not likke it." Leonid replied. Xeon looked shocked and on the verge of tears. ,,..why'd you help me in the first place if you were going to pick her over me?" Xeon asked, it was obvious he was going to cry. ,,Bekause I fellt pity foor you, noww I don'tt." Leonid replied and walked away. ,,該死的阿納哈斯...她把你從我身邊帶走了..." Xeon whispered under his breath. Anahath quickly changed into her country form before anyone noticed. She was confused, who were they talking about?

Xeon started sobbing as tears fell down his cheeks, he didn't even look up and left. Aadil also saw him crying, ,,Xeon wait- what happened?!" he said as he went after Xeon.

of course, Aadil wouldn't want to see Xeon cry, he liked him after all. But she was curious as well, what did Leonid say exactly that made Xeon cry? And who was Leonid picking over him? what even happened, what did Leonid exactly say to Xeon that made him so sad yet angry at the same time? She had so many questions about what she just saw.

,,Hey Leo! I saw you talking with Xeon, and he left crying. What happened?" Anahath asked him, she was indeed curious about what happened between him and Xeon Wei. ,,Oh itts nothinng, you don'tt have too worry" Leonid replied. ,,If you say so, and would you really want to help me?" Anahath asked him. ,Actually no, I just need to gain power so that's why I even talk to you in the first place' He thought to himself. ,,Of kourse I vould" lies, he just wanted to gain her trust so he could use her. But for her, she really thought she can trust him. She slightly blushed and hugged him. He didn't want her to feel suspicious so he hugged her back. Though he internally hated it, but he just forced himself into hugging her back for the sake of using her to gain more power later.

Anahath backed away and looked up at him again. She had a idea, she could invite him to her house to talk for a while and basically spent time together. ,,So, do you mind if-" Anahath wanted to ask him if he could spend some time with her at her house. Maybe they could talk more, get to know each other more and get closer in general. ,,Нет, I havve my kidds too takee kare off as vell" Leonid cut her off, he did have a babysitter for his kids and servants who could take care of his kids while he was gone, but he wanted a excuse to not stay with her. ,,O-oh, it's alright! I-I think I have to go for now so I really hope you don't mind" she said, trying to act normal. But on the inside she felt crushed that he was willing to help her, but couldn't even make up time to spend with her for a few hours. Leonid really didn't care, he just didn't want to be near her. ,,Нет, juust goo" He replied.

Anahath just smiled again and left. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable, she felt a aching feeling in her stomach but this time, she felt something something. She rushed to the woman's bathroom. She gagged a few times, tears forming in the corner of her eyes as she slowly bagan coughing up some blood. She felt something stuck in her throat. As she kept coughing, she ganged again and this time, she coughed up a flower petal.

It was covered in blood and she started feeling light headed and dizzy.

Her hands started shaking. As blood dripped from her mouth, she kept coughing and more flower petals came out of her mouth. She couldn't help but silently sob. It wasn't actually hanahaki? right? he loved her, right? RIGHT? he wouldn't have helped her if he didn't love her. Or maybe he just saw her as a friend, but he still cared about her, right?

,,he s-still cares about you... maybe just as a friend but.. he still cares..." she said to herself, Anahath tried convincing herself that he cared about her. All she could do was convince herself he cared about her, but she might never know if he actually did care, or was he faking it the entire time? no no no, he wouldn't do that. He isn't that kind of person. Leonid is a kind person, he would always care about her, if he didn't then why would he even help her and keep Jack away from her? but then, who did he pick over Xeon Wei? wasn't he more than best friends with Xeon? and if he picked someone over Xeon... what if he did the same to her and picked someone over her too...

,,Stop thinking like that.. it'll come true if you keep thinking that, have faith in him Anahath. He wouldn't betray you" she whispered to herself.

She sniffed as the aching feeling in her stomach grew. She then felt the sudden urge to vomit, she gagged and threw up more blood. She whimpered in pain as she felt more flower petals in her mouth. She spit out the petals and coughed a few more times. She turned on the tap and washed some of the blood off her hands. She washed her face and turned off the tap. She took a few steps back, trying to keep herself together.

Her hands couldn't stop shaking. She felt hesitant and weak. She wanted to cry, but she knew she had to get home first. She grabbed her documents and quickly left the bathroom. She power walked out of the building, she thought she heard someone call her name from the distance. But she didn't look back, she just wanted to get out of the building.

,,What happened to her.." Ceylon said, she was the one who called out Anahath's name to see if she was okay. ,,I don't really know, but I think it's best she has some time to herself" Karolina(Maldives) replied as she held Ceylon's hand.

,,I still feel slightly worried" Ceylon looked at Karolina and said. ,,I'm sure it's nothing much, you don't have to worry I know she'll be fine" Karolina said as she kept her other hand on Ceylon's cheek. They both blushed and laughed it off. ,,Guys! come on, we had planned to hang out later" Gurtaj(Nepal) yelled from hallway down the hall. ,,Coming!" Karolina yelled back and particularly had to drag Ceylon with her to where Gurtaj was. ,,Now come on, I have a lot of stuff planned for us to do today" Gurtaj said. ,,I can't wait honestly!" Karolina replied as the three walked to the second exit of the building together.

Countries all slowly left the building, some left with their siblings or allies while others left alone.

Now only three organisations were left in the building. ,,So... now that Xeon Wei and Anahath have solved the dispute mostly, your saying that Leonid and Jack have created tensions on who's going to help her?" EU asked. ,,No shit, it's obvious Leonid and Jack create tension on helping a woman out" NATO answered. ,,Don't fight now, we can't let another war in a country happen. Especially seeing how big Anahath's population is. If something happens in her country then hundreds of millions of lives are in danger and risk of dying. It'll be considered a genocide and the lose of lives will be unimaginable. We can't risk anything bad happening to her or her people." UN said.

,,Yea.. obviously about Leonid and Jack will send spies to her country now as well, it they didn't earlier then they sure will now" EU pointed out. ,,And we can't let that happen, the chaos will be too out of control and we have no idea how much damage it could cause" UN replied. ,,If Leonid takes action then we-" NATO tried defending Jack, ,,You can't get involved in it every damn time." UN said to shut him up. Which somehow did work. ,,I agree with UN, if you get involved NATO then it might make the situation even worse" EU pointed out. ,,Fine, but still, if Leonid tries anything then I might have to take some action as well" NATO finished saying what he had tried saying earlier.

,,You just have to intervene huh" UN said, now annoyed. All organizations remained silent. ,,You are all free to leave" UN said once again and didn't even look at the two. EU and NATO silently got up and left as well.

With Xeon Wei and Aadil

,,Xeon please wait! tell me what happened?!" Aadil said, still chasing after Xeon.

Xeon finally stopped and fell to his knees, sobbing with tears streaming down his face. Aadil rushed over to him and got on the ground. ,,Xeon.. please don't cry, you can tell me what happened.." Aadil said softly as he wiped away Xeon's tears. He only sniffed and hugged Aadil tightly. ,,Shhhh, it's alright.. I'm here" Aadil replied and hugged Xeon back to comfort him. ,,Calm down, take a deep breath in and tell me what happened" Aadil said as he rubbed Xeon's back.

After a couple of minutes, Xeon had finally calmed down. Aadil backed away from him and held his hand. Xeon stared at the ground, still visibly upset.

,,...L-Leonid he- he said that..." He said before sobbing again. ,,What did Leonid say to you?" Aadil asked. He sniffed and finally told Aadil everything, in detail. He explained to him about how Leonid treated him and what he did to him, and how Leonid told him and that he was leaving because he became ,tired' of him.

Aadil's eyes widened after Xeon finished explaining. He didn't know what to say, he never expected his suspicions of Leonid to be true. ,,H-he did all that... and you didn't tell anyone because you still liked him...?" Aadil asked to which, Xeon just nodded his head and started sobbing again. ,,Did he say anything else to you?" he asked, Aadil wanted to know what Leonid was going to do next. ,,He said that h-he was going to side with A-Anahath-" Xeon answered.

Aadil was in shock, Leonid was... possibly targeting his older sister next. He may seem like he hates his older sister, but he loves her deep down. He can't bare see the same thing or worse happen to Anahath. He felt sick thinking of what Leonid might do to her, he couldn't let him get away with this.

,,Xeon, we can't let him get away with this" Aadil said, he felt internal rage after finding out what Leonid's actual intentions were. ,,N-no, no one will believe me-" Xeon replied but was cut off. ,,You can't stay silent about this, and he might be targeting my sister next. He might do the same to her or someone else, we have to try at least" Aadil cut him off and said. Xeon was silent.

,,But if you don't feel comfortable sharing it now then you can tell everyone later, but I still need to warn Anahath about Leonid" Aadil got up and said. Aadil extended his hand for him. He took his hand and got up as well. Aadil got on his tip toes and wiped Xeon's tears again. ,,Don't worry, I'll be with you through all of this" Aadil smiled at him and said. Xeon couldn't help but smile back at him. ,,T-thank you.. I don't know how to even repay you-" Xeon thanked Aadil. ,,You don't have to repay me, I just want to help you" Aadil replied.

they both smiled at each other. ,,You can stay at my house for tonight, I don't mind" Aadil said as he grabbed Xeon's hand and looked up at him. ,,No no you don't need to-" Xeon was cut off yet again, ,,Yes I do, your staying with me tonight" Aadil insisted. ,,Alright-" Xeon gave in, he felt tired and didn't really want to fight. ,,Then come on!" Aadil took him to the direction of his house. A slightly dark red blush started to appear on his face as he followed Aadil to his house.

the next day... with Aadil and Anahath

it was strange that Aadil so suddenly wanted to talk with her. And he didn't even specify what he wanted to talk bout in the letter her sent to Anahath. Of course she was curious of what Aadil was wanting to tell her. She was sitting in her living room, it was extremely early in the morning and she was still very tired so she just wanted it over with. She yawned, then there was a knock on the door. She knew it was Aadil and she got up. She opened the door and looked down to him.

She noticed he had a extremely worried expression on his face, and he looked slightly scared. Anahath got more curious, what happened that he was so worried and even slightly scared of?
,,Didi, I know you might not even believe me. But I have to tell you something about Leonid" Aadil said.

,,What about him? and why do you look so worried and scared?" she asked, she knew this was nothing like him and felt something was wrong as well. Aadil sighed, he stayed silent for a moment before finally speaking. He, in full detail, explained what Xeon told him about how Leonid was towards Xeon. With every sentence he said, the expression on Anahath's face turned more and more horrified.

He wasn't even half way done when she interrupted him. ,,Nahi, I don't believe it for even a second. Leonid wouldn't do such things, he cares about me. And how do YOU know that Xeon isn't lying about this entire thing? or if it's a made up story?" Anahath asked. Whatever Aadil has told her till now was true, but she was denying everything. She just refused to believe that Leonid would ever do such terrible things. ,,Why would he even lie about something as terrible as this?! and he had this argument with Leonid after the meeting had ended, I'm just trying to warn you because I don't want the same or worse things happening to you because of Leonid. I always felt suspicious of him, and now I'm sure he has bad intentions towards you so please just listen to me!-" he was again cut off. ,,You? caring about what happens to me? I don't believe it. I'm not listening to whatever excuse you've made." Anahath said, she crossed her arms and she now looked angry. ,,It's not a excuse, if you would just listen to me. Leonid doesn't have good intentions to you and he just wants to use you for power-" Aadil said, he also looked angry now, but he was angry at the fact that she already seemed to even trust Leonid so much so fast. ,,He wouldn't do that, unlike Xeon, he actually cares about me" She replied. Aadil then realized that it was most probably too late, Leonid had already gotten Anahath in his trap.

,,No he doesn't, just please listen to what I'm saying! I don't want the same things to happen to you as well-" Aadil protested, he didn't want his older sister to suffer the same way Xeon Wei did because of Leonid. ,,Ugh just get out, I should have known you would be wasting my time by wanting to get me to turn against Leonid." She said and pointed towards the door. He realized, Leonid turned her against him just like he turned Xeon against his younger siblings. But he wasn't giving up, he couldn't let her get used by Leonid. ,,Please I beg you just listen to me, I don't want you to-" he tried convincing her one last time. ,,I said. Get. Out. Did you not hear it the first time I said it?" Anahath said, now more angry than she was earlier. ,,W-wait no- I'm just trying to warn you about-" and yet again, he was cut off. ,,I do not want to hear any of it. Now out." She said and left the room. ,,But- I'm just- forget it then..." He gave in on convincing her.

Aadil sighed, he realized that he had found out too late by now. And the guilt hit him as her left her house. Tears started falling down his cheeks as he sniffed. He really wanted to save her from Leonid, he really did. But he failed. A aching feeling grew in Anahath's stomach. And then she thought about it again, ,What if Aadil was right...? no, Leonid isn't a person who would do these things' she thought to herself.

But she kept thinking about it, the aching feeling in her stomach grew. A few minutes passed by and she went back into the living room. She sat on the couch, thinking about it over and over again. Eventually she just laid down and smal tears formed in the corner of her eyes. ,,Every single damn time you get the chance to fix things with him, you just ruin it. You first ruined everything by trusting George, and now you still can't get along with your younger brother who tried helping you. Instead you shut him out, as you always do with everyone. Can't you just be perfect in someone's eyes?" she asked herself, on the inside she started to feel a aching feeling again. But she could not stop it either. It just grew, and there was nothing she could do about it.

as night grew closer, she didn't even want to move. She just wanted to stay on the couch forever, and rest for as long as she could. But that wouldn't work, she was a country and she had her people who looked up to her. As she slowly sank into her thoughts, she also started to feel sleepy. There was complete silence in the room. She couldn't hear any voices. The silence was... peaceful for her. At least she could get some rest. But the thoughts of how sad her might have made her younger brother kept her from sleeping.

what if he isn't able to sleep at all because of how she just shut him out, like she always does. And if he can't sleep, then why is she relaxing and trying to sleep as if she didn't hurt him?

the aching feeling grew from her stomach to her chest. It got more and more painful, she curled up and hugged her knees. The silence that first felt peaceful now felt like it was slowly killing her.

,,Was he right? did Leonid actually do all that stuff to Xeon..? what if he did and... Aadil was right about him just wanting to use me and that's it... I just want some rest..." she whispered to herself.
She finally decided to get up and go to her room. Her legs felt shaky and things were almost blurry for her.
She put one of her hands against the wall as she walked to her room.

She felt like she was going to collapse onto the floor at any moment, but she had to get to her room.
She stumbled her way across the hallway and finally made it to her room. She quickly got on and sat on her bed. ,,Should I have listened to his warning...?" she said, something felt suspicious to her as well. But Leonid was wanting to help her, it's wrong of her to feel suspicious over someone who was wanting to help her.

She sighed, it had been a long day and it's best she gets some sleep. She needed it after hearing about what Leonid might have done to Xeon Wei. But was it true? she really needed to stop thinking about it now...

....a few days later....

,,Aadil, we have a problem" Xeon Wei said, his hands trembling while holding a newspaper. ,,I know... I saw the news, I just can't believe that they think your lying, who would even lie about this..? and how did they even believe Leonid's messed up story.." Aadil replied. Xeon was on the verge of tears. ,,H-he told everyone I cause this..." He whispered, but loud enough for Aadil to hear. ,,He's not getting away with this... he'll get what he deserves" Aadil replied, he gritted his teeth. He was disgusted at the lies Leonid had spread. He was more shocked to know that people even believed Leonid's lies. ,,They'll never believe me or ever trust me again now..." Xeon said, as some tears fell down his face. ,,I believe you, and I still trust you. You don't have to worry about anyone else" Aadil stepped closer to Xeon, he wiped his tears and said.

,,I can't believe Aadil tried making me think you did such terrible things to Xeon.." Anahath said. Leonid faked being upset and nodded his head. ,Seemss likke it's vorking. She thinkks her yyounger brothher is lyying' Leonid thought to himself. But in reality, he faked seeming as he were going to cry. Because he knew, for Anahath it would feel like acid burning through her skin. ,,You don't have to cry, no one believes them and I'm here for you" Anahath didn't hesitant in trying to comfort him. It was obvious she had no idea what he had planned for her the entire time. He was planning to push this woman as far as she could go. ,,I kan't imagiine if anyyone beelieved themm..." Leonid said, now pretending that he was tearing up. Anahath got closer to him and wiped his tears away. ,,Please don't cry, no one even believed them so you don't have cry about it" she said, unknowing that Leonid didn't even feel a tad bit bad about lying. In fact, he was happy that everyone believed his lies. And no one cared to know Xeon's side of the story either. ,,I kan't beliieve Xeon vould sayy such thinngs about mee" he replied, and pretended to start sobbing. She couldn't see him even a bit upset, she hugged him to comfort him. Leonid tried his best to not have a sly smile on his face, but he knew she had fallen right into his trap. He almost couldn't believe that she trusted him so easily, seeing her history. But she felt a bit suspicious, something in her gut told her ,,He's lying. You should have listened to Aadil's warning". She choose to ignore it. But boy would she regret it later... she should have gone with her gut instead. ,,But why would Xeon say such things, Did something else happen between you Two?" she asked. Leonid didn't know how to answer, for a moment he thought of some excuses and finally settled on. ,,No, hee just suddennly vent aggainst me" he replied. Now she felt something was off, not with Xeon but with Leonid. She again, decided to ignore it and comfort him.

,,Strange.. but I'm here for you so you don't have to worry about him anymore" she said, she backed away and smiled at him. She was completely clueless about his true intentions, and he knew exactly how to take advantage of it. He smiled back, but he didn't even want to stay close to her for that long. ,She reaally hass no cluue vhat I'm goinng to do too her' he thought to himself, almost proud of how quickly he gained her trust.

But of course, later he would end up showing his true colors to her. While she would regret ignoring her younger brother's warning...

Anahath walked down the hallway. Her face was slightly bruised. ,,If only I had listened to his warning, this day would have never come. But I have to face him, I'm sick of this and I have to fix the mistake I made." she said, holding the files of the Indo-Soviet peace treaty in her hands. She was mean to get it renewed, but she had other options and decided to not get it renewed. She was done with Leonid and his games, and she finally decided to confront him. She hoped this doesn't end too badly, even though deep down she know it wasn't going to end well at all... how would it? she knew Leonid would either hit her, or pretend to be sad to get her to stay. But she had enough, she wasn't going to take this any more. She was going to end this, once and for all.

(never written so many damn words before, but I love how it came out and I hope you do as well. And honestly, I do feel proud of myself for this one and I hope you love it as much as I do. Now Imma rest for a bit. Alvida!)
